Picked up a few figures this month - some impulse buys and some I've wanted for a while.

Triage X - Sagiri Yuuko - in the back. Heard really good things about this figure and its a character by the HoTD artist (RIP).

Grace Ashcroft Amiibo - probably the worst looking one in the haul. But not much to say about Nintendo's amiibo line when it comes to non-stylised human characters. Its p much sold out everywhere so glad I was able to grab one

Yoko Littner - TOKYO: CartoonY - I love this unique take on the figure. Paid a little too much for a prize figure but still lower than typically seen on the used market rn. Got it off Vinted of all places. Looks very cute and broadly speaking the style translated well into a figure. Will post a more detailed picture later.

Alanah Pearce YouTooz (Blue Hair)- Don't really go for this brand or Funko Pops so this is a very unusual exception. They can be very expensive due to limited release so was lucky to get it again <$20. Pretty good production value for what it is. Heavy and some nice detail.

Poppy The Beauty (blonde on pillar) - another controversial source which is PopStore (i.e. the labubu store). It is from a line called Peach Riot which has again some cute figures. I wouldn't go so far into blind box collecting these as many I don't like enough to collect but one or two I'd get since they look nice. The detail is decent for what it is however I kinda wish the expression was better. Not too sure what she is trying to express with her eyes and mouth - it almost looks like disgust which isn't fitting for this character

Not really a big fan of the brand but I thought the Alanah Pearce one looked cool. Wasn't on my radar way back so missed out and rarely saw it for reasonable price.

Got very lucky on eBay selling for <$20 CIB. Definitely worth it and looks better than a Funko IMO.

The size is perfect for just below my computer monitor

In this week's episode, Burnie mentions that him and Finn (and Evie) are going through Halo Campaign Evolved. A nice parental bonding experience especially due to Burnie's connection with the Halo series.

Burnie then mentions whether he should be showing the elements of Halo that are skewed towards horror i.e. The Flood as it may be too much for Finn.

I'm sure each parent makes a judgement call on what material is suitable for their child as it should be the content rather than the rating. But as parents, has the ratings on media always been a 'suggestion' rather than a hard rule? Do you think it changes if you have had first hand experience and can fully evaluate the content yourself before letting your child play it?

Lastly, have you ever had a disagreement with another parent over this rating issue if you have another child round or vice versa?

Both RE amiibos are highly anticipated however the reveal pictures were somewhat disappointing considering the quality of their faces look like the first wave amiibo figures.

Does the final product match those initial pictures? Are there any surprises or changes those that own these amiibos have noticed?

Some odd fighting games that I had my eyes on for a while.

Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax is an anime fighter that features anime/manga characters from the publisher Dengeki
Blade Strangers is another fighter that has some characters that were huge in indie games from the late 00's like Isaac (Binding of Isaac), Shovel Knight, and Curly Braces from Cave Story

Finally Raidou Remaster which never got a PS4 release in the West
