My birds of paradise is doing pretty well but it’ll be winter soon and i wont have sunlight where i live for at least 1.5 months. Any tips on how i can keep it alive and healthy during winter?
I water it when the top soil feels dry and prefer keeping it indoors.

I’ll be placing it indoors in indirect sunlight. Should i tie the droopy stem with a stick?

This is what my room currently looks like. I dont like the bed, it’s too big. I want to change my bed set entirely but am unsure what color to go for.
IMPORTANT: The wall opposite my bed also has the dark brown panelling similar to the one above the fireplace. (Picture attached)

One of them is constantly screaming. I tried feeding it with a syringe but it doesnt want to be fed. It wants to come out of the box although it cant walk properly yet. Also have kept them warm but one of them is still screaming. What do i do?

This was my first ever attempt at using plaster of paris and clay to make a keepsake. Before I could try another, my baby passed away. This is the only print i have of her paw. Is there anyway i can make it neater? It’s too uneven from everywhere. Also can i preserve this forever somehow?

Hi everyone. I’m looking for some advice and perspective about my 18-year-old cat because I’m really struggling to figure out what the best option is for her right now.
She was initially diagnosed with CKD Stage 2. At that point, we were managing her condition and monitoring her, and I understood that she still had a reasonable quality of life.
Since then, her condition has changed significantly.

Recent happenings:

1. She subsequently developed blindness. She became completely blind around 2 months ago. Also theres no way to check for bp in my country so vet could only do so much.
2. Despite being blind, she learned where her food, water and litter box are and was generally adapting.
   She occasionally bumped into things, but otherwise seemed to be coping.
3. More recently, she was told by a vet that her CKD has progressed to stage 4. Attached recent reports.
4. She started having symptoms like losing ability to move her hind legs, disorientation and she couldn’t walk properly at all. She stopped eating and just lay down wherever i put her and peed where she was lying down. Vet put her on supportive meds and asked me to feed her with a syringe. She would get better, start eating and walking again only for the same cycle to repeat 3 days later.
5. Yesterday midnight, she had a seizure that lasted 30 seconds. Her entire body started trembling uncontrollably and she meowed in what im guessing was pain. Afterward, I put her on the bed with me. She was lying there and barely moving, and I noticed that her head was continuously shaking lightly. There was no vet open at the time, so I was trying to keep her comfortable and monitor her until I could get veterinary help.

I took her to her vet today and he mentioned that its progressed so much and theres ammonia buildup which caused brain damage, which may have caused this. He mentioned a name for it but i couldnt remember it as im completely torn rn. I googled whatever i could remember and i think it was ‘uremic encephalopathy’. Not sure though.

I asked the vet what i can do now and he mentioned bringing her in every other day for supportive meds and that could keep her stable. Also told me that dialysis and kidney transplant can be done but dialysis is not available in my country for animals.
But i googled and found out that kidney transplant cannot be done on cats with this severe condition. Chatgpt keeps suggesting me euthanasia but i feel so fucking guilty and sad for even thinking about it.

Please i really need help. Im completely confused and distressed i dont know what to do.

I used a brow gel here and i feel they dont look so good. How do i make them more ‘feminine’?
