The day has arrived, Samsung Messages has been discontinued in the US

And here I was gullibe enough to believe that Samsung would have the decency to leave a little "x" so the application could still be used. Probably the biggest blunder on their part since the note 7 battery qc.

Dodge Ram/Durango - Buy today or wait for the 4th

Asking for advice from the community that knows the sales better.

Looking to get a ram truck or durango, have been saving up/waiting for a while. Questions is the durango has 0% apr at some dealers near by, should I go to the dealer now or wait for the potential bigger markdown sale on the 4th? Also in general, how much leeway do dealers have, I don't want to low ball but I do want to negotiate a bit since the durango in this case is still on the 10 year older body style and is expected to be revamped soon.

For existing Tmobile customers, what is the best option on the tmobile network ?

PSA, with a question that follows. First for the psa, to existing tmobile customers, Im with you, helping to port my family's plan to another as well. We're only with tmobile because the network was the most reliable, and still is, in our area. A lot of us have been on the old plan for years, we're tmobile customers for more than 20 years. The "upgrade" 2 years back was a sour note which obviously led to this additional price hike announced today.

Just be mindful of the deals out there, what network they use (there are only the big 3 in the us), and if they 1. deprioritize 2. throttle 3. at what gb .

From what I read consistently, a lot of folks here recommended the byod Metro $25 plan as the better option if we want to stay on the tmobile towers, with us mobile coming second best until they remove their 70gb throttling limit. Mint seems to throttle down to less than 1mb after 40gb. I'm writing this post to confirm with the community.

Over in verizon land, total wireless lead the pack with a true unlimited, visible comes in second because you need to get the premium option for that, and over in at&t land, boost and us mobile lead as customer favorites with better deals, in my research.

I'm sure the comments will point us to the right direction and if this info I've research still stands.

Why are xtra making osmo a sister group when they are not DJI technically

Just saw the post, as one that felt the other group as rather a sad place to be, they were the reasons why I did not buy an osmo ( and no its not against sub rule 1 or any rule so please leave this up ).

Also I thought Xtra wants to differenciate themselves from DJI, so why make it a sister group when they have to be careful with the branding anyways?

I love the xtra group, please leave it as it is, a place open for discussion and creativity.

Question to Xtra, will the muse 2 pro have 4k vertical videos?

Looks like there are some impressive difference not expected, like the side flipping screen, and the built in tripod.

One thing that would destroy the competition instantly though, will the pro actually have 4k vertical mode ?

Neither the osmo or insta360 have this, if its a possibility in firmware, that would be great !

(UPDATE: I have been banned from this group, guess I am left with no choice but to cancel my Muse 2p pre order)

Anyone try Zenpep?

Basically a mix of 3 enzymes, Protease for proteins, Lipase for fat, and Amylase for starch. It's a German made prescription meant for EPI, but saw it mentioned a few times here, GP's tend to prescribe them for digestion issues it seems. Particularly interested if this has helped anyone with ibs-d .

Why do some modern blockbusters have worse looking vfx than releases a decade back?

Just want to discuss this, perhaps it's a hot take, but in seeing the newest spiderman trailer, I once again feel like modern vfx is just a tad step behind what it once was ( like for example in comparison to Pirates more than a decade back ).

Why do you think that's the case? I thought the time constraints and competitive bidding that occurred during the pandemic are no longer the case? Or is it a battle of compositing with higher resolution digital footage? Looking at bts footage, it looks like there are a good amount of practical to help with the compositing, so is it down to color?

Curious on your thoughts, I'm just a fan of the tech, and know that amazing things could be done today that were so difficult previously. Plus there's new emerging tech speeding up both 3d scans and render times (gaussian splats and cloud renders).

Looking forward to a friendly discussion about this, thanks!

Anyone with Sucrose intolerance IBS tried Sucraid ?

Basically with a sucrose intolerance, chances are it's the enzyme that also can't process starch, hence why that diet eliminates rice, bread, bananas, etc. ( it can become very restrictive if you also account for low fodmap, but still tolerable )

There is basically only one medication approved as far as I could tell in the US, that's Sucraid, other than that, the strict diet can help one reset, and cheats are acceptable if in small amounts.

Has anyone here been through this and tried Sucraid ?

IBS-D could be a symptom of ASID? Lacking enzyme that breaks down sugar and starch

Tapioca was a huge trigger for my sibling, so using that I finally stumbled upon ASID and latex allergies, ASID potentially being the biggie here.

It's Sucrase-Isomaltase Deficiency, if genetic or permanent called CSID, but technically ASID is the temporary one that could occur from even food poisoning or other gut issues and potentially last many years if not treated or given a dietary change (not enough research done).

Essentially means the body lacks the sucrase-isomaltase enzyme complex which breaks down sugars and starch.

Anyone try the diet? Read a comment from a few years back stating that up to 30% of IBS-d patients may actually be suffering from CSID. Supposedly the test is cheap if you ask your doctor or alternatively one could follow the diet for a few days.

Anyone here try this diet and have it help?

PSA Tapioca Allergy exists and the ingredient is everywhere in Gluten Free Foods

Just an fyi here for folks, my sibling has been dealing with various symptoms, from brain fogs, to ibs, to skin issues for years, they never thought it could be their diet or multiple allergies. So they dove into the research and realized their allergic to many things, one in particular that created a near instant reaction for them was Tapioca. They figure their symptoms started (gut issues) during a food poisoning event around a boba drink 3 years back, since then anything gluten free with Tapioca ( which isderived from the Cassava Root ) would also upset them greatly.

Hence why I just want to leave this here , one can get allergic to Tapioca ( which is way too common in gluten free food ) , so keep it in mind when switching to gluten free.
