Themed Thursday: your most expensive piece!

I have had a number of them in the US$50,000 - 100,000 range. Here is a sampling: some Tenggrens and the first color Mickey Mouse cel (on a master) that I sourced from a a lady who had it for years. A very exciting find!

Themed Thursday: Your best bargain. Mine was an Ichabod book with almost 100 stroyboards in it telling the story from beginning to end. While I paid a lot of money for it, it was a bargain given the quality of the art and amount of art in it.

SPONGEBOB! My gallery had the 1st ever Spongebob show/ release of the art years ago, and sold a ton of art from this great series. In my opinion, the best pieces were the opening title sequence pieces. Just got one back from the client we sold it to, and man, am I excited to get this treasure back

Lilo and Stitch are pretty popular, but alas, the film did not use original cels. Just got in this Walt Disney Employee Exclusive Limited Edition Cel - not sold to the public, only available (initially) to employees only- enjoy 😊

I think I have had maybe 2 Casper animation cels ever. Fun fact: Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson from Little House on the Prairie's) mom was the voice. She's a friend of mine, so how could I not give her one as a gift. I am pleased to say it hangs proudly in her home. 😊
