bdo requirement opening an account for savings

I want to open an account kaso parang 2 weeks palang ako sa job ko. Last time I opened, with my mom's COE and payslip since student palang ako. Kaso na close kasi di ko nalagyan ng money for how many months. Madedeny ba ako? Ano requirement if applying as an employed person?

Try ko ba mag online application or daritso nalang po ako sa branch?

working adults living under their parents

Working adults still living under your parents, how is it going?

I (23F) was already set before that when I graduate I wanted to work outside my city. I want to explore and have a different environment kasi nga naman my place is a province compared to big cities like Cebu. Fantasy ko dun.

May perks din naman kasi living with them. I dont have to worry about laundry, cooking and rent.

Sometimes, it's because living with them can be hard to my mental health. Emphasis on "sometimes" kasi compared to others okay naman yung family ko. Minsan tinotopak ng favoritism and strictness minsan hindi.

Now that I'm about to graduate, I found a WFH job, my first job. WFH job means I get to live in this house still. It has its perks, yes. Convenience kumbaga. My worry nalang is my workload and how to get enough sleep. I get to save most of my salary. I chose this wfh set up compared to the onsite one (in Cebu) bc the salary is 2x bigger and many benefits .

But now, I am worrying that I might be stuck here forever? Am I being ungrateful? Or am i not seeing the perks here of saving almost all my salary?

Na acknowledge ko yung privilege. But at the same time, I want to try exploring in the bigger city where almost everything is accessible. Lots of brand and restaurant selection, madaming cute cafes, fun activities. Things na wala dito sa province namin.

pico laser before diode

is this possible? ive heard here diode muna bago pico laser but hindi naman po ako mabalbon sa underarm ko. I have been using epilator for quite a long time now and naglessen yung hair sa kili kili ko. So I was wondering if pwede diretso na pico laser.

Also, does the brand really matter? All I see here is Wink and SkinStation pero wala pong branch yung brand na yan in my place.

what does this mean?

Im on my first week of my first job. During my shift, always may team meetings. Binasa ko ulit yung JD and I am not sure kung anong meaning neto.

"This is a remote, night-shift role in the Philippines, aligned to US Pacific hours so you can
collaborate live with our US team and clients. We operate on an outcome-based approach with
flexibility — when you start early or work late for a call, you can adjust the rest of your day."

Based sa discussion namin ng boss ko US Pacific hours so I am assuming 12-8AM PHT. Medyo confused lang ako sa last sentence "outcome based approach flexibility" pero "remote, night shift"

Can someone please help me understand sa: We operate on an outcome-based approach with
flexibility — when you start early or work late for a call, you can adjust the rest of your day.

Sorry I dont know if gets niyo yung explanation ko. This is my first job po kasi, and WFH na night shift so i dont know much.

Does this mean I can work the rest of my deliverables anytime of the day as long as I am present during US Pacific time team meetings and as long as ma meet ko yung 40hrs per week?

Hoping those experienced with remote work/night shift/working with US companies could enlighten me :)

is night shift really that bad?

got my first job, GY shift (WFH 12AM-7AM) and i have been scrolling to several subreddits and they said not ideal daw talaga ang night shift. A lot say no social life & no sleep.

Might be too early for me to say, but for me okay pa naman siya since on my usual days late ako natutulog and mga tanghali na din ako nagigising. Kumbaga minimal adjustments to my sleeping time. I am also thinking that atleast when I wake up, done na ang work ko for the day and I can enjoy the rest of the afternoon and night to myself. When I think of it, I would rather choose this set up than to wake up at 6-7AM for onsite (as a not morning person). During internship, 8-4PM/9-5pm mas dama ko po yung pagod parang ang haba ng day.

Though I am still adjusting, I am really prioritizing my health talaga. I still eat healthy food and regulate my caffeine intake. I sleep 6-7 hours, and squeeze in some nap time late in the afternoon. Though I have to admit, groggy din because sometimes of antok. Some say nagka PCOS sila or gain weight, but as I researched about it, more on lifestyle din daw talaga siya.

Maybe too early for me nga naman to say. But let's see.

BTW, I am working for a US-based marketing company.

Can anyone share here their sentiments/experiences?

P.S. Please be kind TYIA

OA lang ba ako if nagalit ako kasi ni like niya ang isang reel?

Oa lang ba ako? nagalit ako sa bf ko kasi i saw his liked video tas yung video is marketing video ng isang lalaki sellling food tas may pinalitan ng cleavage ng babae yung chest ng lalaki?

Obviously, for marketing purposes yung pagpresent ng vid.

Gusto ko lang ng insights kasi di magets ng bf ko why need niya mag sorry kase funny daw ang content, and mever in a sexual way.

today my day 1 and no instructions were given. should i ask my boss?

My ideal start date is today, and kagabi palang na send yung contract ng HR and kaninang umaga PH Time ko palang ni send ang signed contract CC'ed to my boss. In the email, I asked for the next step moving forward since I am assuming today is mg start date. Should I send a separate email to my boss about the details of my day 1? Or wait nalang sa response since naka cc naman sa boss ko?

BTW, my company is California based so US Pacific Hours and night shift ako. I am assuming it's 4AM there

tips for a first time wfh girly

Hello, everyone! I got a job before even graduating and night shift siya (aligned to US Pacific business hours) so around 12AM-8AM im guessing? correct me if I am wrong. Though stated sa JD, "outcome-based approach with flexibility" sila and "if I have an early call or late meeting, I can adjust the rest of your day" these were quoted by the company sa job description na binigay nila.

This is my first actual job. I am truly grateful cos I thought it would take me months to find job and I have always wanted WFH kasi flexible.

Now after mag sink in lahat, bigla akong nag worry and natakot especially since marami sa nababasa ko hindi daw ideal/masaya ang graveyard shift. How do i even sleep? Is there room for me to have social life still and travel?

Is there any tips po that u can help me with?

got my first job before even graduating… and it pays ₱40k/month...still feels unreal

Problem/Goal: How can I maximize saving my salary?

Context: After almost 3 weeks of job hunting, 9 interviews, 1 JO, I finally landed my wfh first job as an (almost) fresh grad (cos im graduating in 3 weeks) 🥹

Grabe I got rejected for the first role I applied for in this company… but they ended up endorsing me to another role that actually offered a higher salary than the original one. Rejection really is a redirection.

Now I need advice from the adults here 😭 How should I maximize my salary if you were in my position?

For context, I’m planning to allocate for:
- Emergency fund / savings
- Investments
- Daily needs
- Wants
- Travel fund

Previous Attempts: A lesson to myself (and maybe to other fresh grads too): don’t feel pressured to settle immediately for those under-₱22k offers if you know you can keep applying and negotiating 🥹The first JO that I got also keeps on contacting me and offering me a 20k job for 5hr/day.

is this a good deal for a first job?

VA Agency's Terms:

Work Equipment - you will need to supply this:
Laptop, 2nd monitor, main/backup internet, noise-cancelling headphones.

Contract Structure:
1. First 3 months - freelance status
2. After 3 months - signing of employee-employer contract.

Compensation - Full Time:
1. Freelance rate is Php22,000.00 monthly (40hrs)
2. Employee rate is Php25,000.00 monthly (hourly rate will be based on computation by industry standards) + Php5,000.00 allowance + government-mandated benefits + holiday premium + night differential premium (if applicable based on schedule)
3. HMO enrolment, additional Php1,000.00 allowance and more after probationary period

----

do u think this is a good deal? double checked and the VA Agency is legit and PH based. Was wondering your thoughts on the company structure as well as the pay. I kind of dont understand the freelance rate and employee rate, so maybe someone could help me out.

BTW, I am an incoming fresh grad so I am still learning some things. Hoping someone could help me out. TYIA!
