This is like the 3rd week in a row I've worked 15 hours when I'm supposed to work 20. Once I go back on Sunday I'm asking my boss if I can move to the line because I can't stand not having anything to do

I believe I might actually have aphantasia

This image is exactly what I see when imagining a horse. I can sense what it looks like, but I can't conjure up any real detail.

Can't believe it took me 18 whole years to finally realize this despite knowing exactly what aphantasia was for at least 2 or 3 of those years either.

I just realized the days around my birthday have sucked for the last few years

A couple days after my 16th birthday me and my dad spent half the day fixing a moped just for me to get pulled over after riding it around the neighborhood for 30 minutes and told I can't ride it anymore because it's not insured or registered (which we can't really afford to do with the 3 vehicles we already have).

Then 3 days before my 17th birthday, my truck (that I had for not even 2 months) got hit in the school parking lot by someone backing out. Ton of damage to the back driver's side which ended up totalling it.

Then for my 18th birthday which is tomorrow, my uncle unfortunately passed away on Wednesday (which to pour salt in the wound, happened about a week after my great grandpa died).

It's been months since this conversation happened and I still can't believe it

My friend's been unintentionally stalking me for months. And even better, still does to this day. I swear every time I walk into Walmart I get a text saying "I see you" or "what are you getting." Idk how she does this.

Also just to be clear I don't hate it or anything (in fact I find it kind of amusing), I just genuinely can't believe how I'm getting spotted everywhere I go but I've seen her maybe 10 times outside of class in the 2 and a half years we've known each other.

Should've gotten a boox go 7 from the start

Got a boox go 7 about 5 days ago to replace my go 6 (which is now with my grandma), and it's such a good upgrade. It's really responsive, I can use MAL on it so I'm not going back and forth between my phone anymore, the screen size feels huge compared to the go 6 even though it's only an inch bigger, so far it hasn't had any display issues like the go 6 did (sometimes the display wouldn't show anything and you'd have to turn on the display a few times for it to catch up), and the page turn buttons are really nice to have too.

Only problem is that it's still got that greenish tint on lower warmth settings and the power button/charging port placement isn't my favorite, but those are kinda nitpicks.

I kinda feel bad being aplatonic (and also asocial)

There's one girl from my culinary class that added me on Instagram a few months ago and I feel kinda bad not talking that much. Like the last time we talked was on July 9th and it went like this:

Her: how's life?

Me: pretty tiring

Her: I can imagine

Worst part is that it's not like there's nothing to talk about (honestly my life couldn't be more interesting at the moment), but I just can't be bothered talking about it. Granted we've been in the same class for 2 years and always worked together so I'm sure she new what she was getting into when trying to befriend me, but a tiny part of me still feels kinda bad for texting 4 words every few weeks.

Got Satan, sex, and no regrets (Harley Poe), message (Mongol800), stompin on downbeat alley (Tokyo ska paradise orchestra), and mailorder is fun (various artists) on the way too but those are gonna take a while to get here

I love when my dad brings home random things (I'm on my phone so imagine the flair is edited to say random or something)

Off the top of my head he got a few PCs, a nice office desk, a 75" tv, 3 printers, recently this arcade cabinet thing, like 5 hoverboards, a ton of jewelry, 2 couches, a loveseat recliner, an electric recliner, a huge fridge, a kindle oasis, a stop sign, a sign from a bar, a laptop, and a few DeWalt tools

The best thing is that they're all free excluding repairs (which aren't really that expensive usually).
