Why did you decide to replace Delight?

Coach Homme: I honestly don’t think there’s any problem with Delight’s individual skill. But right now, I think jungle and bot are very important in the meta. Rather than individual skill, when you look at skirmishes, even if someone makes a bad decision, if everyone commits to it together, sometimes it can turn into a good decision that wins you the fight.

And I think the more people you have who are willing to step forward and take responsibility, the less of that burden everyone has to carry. I do think Delight is better in every aspect overall. But when it comes to stepping forward, when I think of Delight, honestly, the thing that comes to mind is his engages.

He’s still playing well now, but I wanted to see more of that feeling he used to have. I wanted to step back and see more of those kinds of plays from him, so that’s part of why we decided to make this change. Recently, we’ve had a lot of problems in that area. Rather than individual skill, I think it’s an issue of coordination. We’ve had a lot of things go wrong when we group up.

So I wanted to look at Jin-hyeok separately, look at Delight separately, and also look at Gumayusi. I think the jungle-bot coordination is extremely important right now, so we made this decision after taking all of those things into consideration. I don’t know whether this decision will turn out to be good or bad, but we still have time before Worlds, so I’d like people to trust us and give us some time to try this out.

There’s really just one thing I think Bluffing does better. When we’re contesting vision or skirmishing, he’s willing to step forward, even if it means he dies, in order to take some of the burden off the other players. Maybe because he’s still young, I think he’s able to make those kinds of plays confidently. But I also think Delight was extremely good at doing that, and he’s still playing well enough now. So I’m not saying Delight is playing badly.

It’s just that when Kanavi and the bot side group up, there seem to be quite a few small differences in how they think about those situations. I thought it would be good for them to talk through those differences again. And I also think Bluffing is certainly a player capable of competing, so that’s why we made this decision.

But there’s no question in my mind that Delight is the much better player overall, when you look at every aspect. I think Delight will be able to address this particular issue soon enough, so I think Delight will probably be playing again soon. That much I can say with confidence.

Q: Who will play against DK?

Coach Homme: Personally, I still have Delight ahead. But since we won today, I think we’ll have to give the decision a little more thought.

Q: What do you think about the competition for the starting support spot?

Q: Your thoughts on the match?

Head Coach Tom: We had a little over a day to prepare, and I think we came up short compared to our opponent in that regard, so it’s disappointing.

**Doran:**I really wanted to finish the final day of Home Ground with a win, but unfortunately we couldn’t. As a team, there were also some frustrating moments where it felt like things were almost working but not quite, so I think we all need to thoroughly review those things together.

Q: Things keep going wrong during dives. What do you think is causing that?

Head Coach Tom: In the case of the dive in Game 1, I think those kinds of mistakes come from being too hasty. We made some mistakes in the execution of the dive.

Q: What has been lacking from the team?

Head Coach Tom: When we design a play, I personally think we’re lacking in having everything come together cleanly and precisely as intended. In that respect, I think our communication as a team has been quite lacking.

Head Coach Tom: From what I understand, AD marksman champions are getting a buff to their magic resistance. Even so, I think teams that prefer non-ADC picks could still use them depending on the situation. We’ll take those things into account and prepare well for the next patch.
