I just ordered a micro camera (small nanny cam). I am going to somehow put it on a chicken backpack and find where they are laying their Mother Trucking eggs.

I'm with them most of the day, I have searched high, low, far and wide and can't find them.

A couple of my broodier hens disappear all day and only one comes back.

I have this stupid theory that they have found a safe place to lay and are changing shifts.

It's been about two weeks now and I get 1 egg daily and I have 9 hens.

Edit because... I plan on uploading a video as soon as I am able to.

Also I just realized that I might have to watch a lot of footage, so I will need to consider this.

I'm cleaning and organizing and it's been a lot! For my ADHD brain this is the most tiresome task.

I just wanna get a big dumpster and throw it all in the bin.

Anyone feel this way.

If I had any more space in our small house I would get a pressure cooker.

I hope that I am not breaking rules.

No one is sick here. We have a small farm, we raise our own chicken. We also have young children.

I am wondering why no one has ever gotten sick. My kids suck at washing their hands. I clean the coop.

Being around animals always puts you at risk but we have not had any GI illnesses from any animal.

Are we immune. Is it because our chickens don't have Salmonella?

Should I be concerned. Top side of a mature leaf, I was able to rip this bit off.

So my boy keeps his penis 2 inches out from the sheath.

Last time he did that I cleaned his sheath for beans/pearls didn't find much and he wasn't happy with me. I'm not calling a vet out for a sheath cleaning because the call out cost is nearlh 200 dollars. Then they sedate. I really wanted to untill his teeth floating in September. Thoughts?

Edit:. Because I am poor and insane I tried myself. I didn't get kicked. Found two good sized ones. Now everything looks normal. And he actually chilled out after I got the second one! Relief.

My kids are so excited when their dad comes home.

I am a new stay at home mom because of disability.

My kids used to be 50/50 almost mom and dad. Now my kids 5f/7m take everything out on me. Life has been kind of difficult recently and I am doing my hardest to be the best I can. Education, reading, play and love. I am never gonna be the best but I am always there.

Is it true they treat their safest and most trustworthy caregiver worse?

My therapist mentioned that some of it was healthy and some is attachment issues because my son is afraid I might die.

My neighbor's roo decided he liked my house better than my neighbors(neighbors don't care). He has helped reintegrate an injured hen and he likes our kids.

Unfortunately I dispatched of our old roo for aggressive behavior towards people and later our hens (he was under a year and only with us during the coldest months.

I have never had chicks. Is this something I should expect?

In warmer climates I am thinking I would build a still for water. In colder climates warmth first.

I have been using pre bought bags and inoculating soil myself with spore syringes.

All types grow so slowly and stall out.

Any simple tips?

Sometimes the bag will be fully inoculated but mushrooms! It's very frustrating.

My clingy son (6yrs) is draining me of energy.
