Saw my first jumping spider (UK)

I apologise for the low quality video. As you can tell from my shaking hands, I was very excited.

I think this lil guy is a zebra jumping spider, not sure. Even if they aren’t they’re still a species I haven’t seen before!!

Our new resident

(Please ignore the mattress, it’s waiting for the tip😭)

Pretty sure this cutie has made a home in our garden, we’ve seen the same one quite a few times. My mum or dad has put out some calci worms for them, they had their fill and waddled back into the grass. :)

Whenever it happens, should I switch from diy to nhs??

Apparently I’m pretty close to starting the process of getting testosterone through the nhs (tbh I don’t believe that, they’ve told me that before). When the long process is over, should I switch?? I’m quite worried they’ll under dose me, I’m currently on 50mg per week of Testosterone Cypionate. If anyone has switched from diy to nhs what was your experience like??

I’m wondering if I’m hyper mobile but I’m not entirely flexible

I’m not asking for medical advice and I am planning to go to a doctor to see if I do have it.

24/7 joint pains/aches, bad posture, “locked knees” when standing and weird sitting, standing and laying positions are smt I’ve had as long as I can remember, I’ve read and heard that’s common with hyper mobile folk. As I’ve been doing research about hyper mobility I’ve noticed it sounds extremely similar to what I experience. The only thing I don’t entirely have is the flexibility, I’ve seen some people say that you have to be very flexible to be hyper mobile then others say otherwise. I’ve tried to do my own research but I unfortunately couldn’t find any answers (if you have links to the info I was trying to find it would be greatly appreciated). I suppose I could be classed as flexible in some areas but I’m definitely not fully flexible, more stiff than flexible.

Maybe I’m just trying to cope by talking myself into thinking I don’t have it, idk, but info about the flexibility would be very much appreciated.

Good vegan and cruelty free skincare sites/products??

I’m not having the best of luck finding good skincare that isn’t overpriced to hell. Are there any skincare product sites that only/mostly have vegan and cruelty free products??
Preferably uk sites so I don’t have to pay a fortune for shipping haha.

What helps dry irritated chest skin??

Last time I used tape I accidentally left it on way longer than I should’ve, this has resulted in dry, peeling off irritated chest/breast skin. It’s been like this more than a week after removal. What best helps this?? Preferably no oils but if it helps it helps.

Years later I still haven’t processed my cats death

She passed away in 2021. Ik she’s gone but my brain just hasn’t processed that she’s dead, that I’ll never see her again. I’m still waiting for her to come home, to show up at the door like nothing happened, but deep down ik that she’s gone.

I’m not even sure how I haven’t processed it fully yet, I watched her die in front of me. I watched as the cloudiness overtook her eyes, I felt and heard her last meow, her last breath. I didn’t let my parents bury her body for a bit, I would always sit next to her cold body and just cry, wishing she’d magically come back to life. I even prayed to a god I don’t believe in that she’d come back. It’s hard to believe my cuddly girl is now a skeleton in dirt.

I didn’t have nearly enough time with her, she was elderly when we got her but me and her clicked almost immediately. We were inseparable, she was like my best friend that happened to be an old grumpy lady haha. I keep looking back on the times I didn’t let her into my room when I was eating or just overwhelmed. I wish I could go back in time and let her in my room everytime she asked. I miss her so insanely much. I love you my grumpy Molly, I hope you’re with your previous owner now, ik she missed you as much as I miss you.

Need some help hiding T changes

I’m not on testosterone yet however I will be very soon.
I have 2 questions, how can I hide the changes and what changes will there be just under 6 months on T??

I’m with camhs for that time (until I turn 18). I’ve already planned that if they ask about my voice I’ll just say I’m either sick or voice training. If there’s any other noticeable changes how can I hide them??

Hrt starts in 1-2 weeks!!

After years of frustration, tears and very impatient waiting, I’m finally starting T very soon! I’m extremely excited, so excited that I could cry.

My mental health has been massively impacted by body dysmorphia and gender dysphoria, I’m rly looking forward to that being lifted, even if it’s just a tiny bit.
(Dw I’m not setting very high expectations)

How frequently should I use my treadmill?

I’m completely new to healthy exercise so please excuse me if this question is stupid.

My goal is toned stomach and legs, I’m not sure if a treadmill can give me a toned stomach tho.
Today I’ve used the treadmill (mainly kinda fast walking, 2.5 speed, tiny bit of running 6 (max) speed) for 1hr. Should I do 1hr daily or is that too much/little??

Vent, some advice wanted.

TW - weight and restriction but no numbers

I can’t help but look in the mirror at my body everyday, today I realised I’ve gained. It’s triggered me a lot, my brain keeps telling me to not eat this week, to lose the weight I’ve gained. I can’t tell if I want to listen to my brain or not but either way I kinda am, I’ve only had an ice lolly.

I don’t want to become weaker, my body is already extremely weak as it is, but deep down I want to lose the weight. I’m terrified of going back to being overweight and binging almost everyday, my brain keeps telling me if I eat like normal then I’ll be overweight again. I don’t know how to deal with this weight gain, I feel like I’m slowly losing my mind.

How can I find motivation to go outside??

Going outside just been very difficult for me for years, I go outside once every 2-3 weeks. The thought of strangers perceiving me makes my skin crawl and makes me nauseous sometimes.

There are many other reasons it’s hard to go outside, one being energy and motivation. I’ve struggled with food for a bit (I’m working on it) so my body is weak and I lack energy. However my main struggles are the fear of being perceived and motivation.

I would love to go outside more, I love nature, insects, birds, just animals in general. I love seeing flowers bloom and thrive, seeing an insect do smt I haven’t seen before, moulting, feeding, building a home. I miss out on sm nature and animals while being stuck on this bed.

If anyone has had the same issues, what worked for u??

What moth is this cutie??

Here’s another moth I tried to help. When I got them from the floor I noticed they seemed injured, why is there a red spot??
Gave them some sugar water then eventually put them outside (mainly due to my family being disgusted by the poor fella).

Anyways, what species of moth are they?? I’m in the UK, north east england.

How can I start regressing again??

I used to age regress quite a bit to deal with issues however lately I just can’t. Idk why but my brain won’t let me, it’s extremely frustrating. Age regression has been the only thing that’s worked in dealing with my anxiety and overthinking. How can I regress again?? I miss it so insanely much.

How do u make friends??

I have many things including autism so it’s very hard to make friends, I haven’t any true ones all my life. Genuinely how tf do u make friends?? All I can think of is basic questions like “what do u like?” then asking how they are every/most days, that doesn’t get my friendships anywhere tho. Any and all advice will be appreciated but keep in mind I have autism so advice may need to be tweaked a bit.

What’s wrong with my baby??

I’m 17, from the uk (England), we can’t afford our local vet and can’t afford transport. She’s female, spayed, around 10yrs old (I have no memory of when we got her).

This went on for at least 3mins now she’s breathing kind of normally, still a tiny bit fast. She was purring the whole time it was happening. Due to the heatwave I have a fan on her now.

I think I might be relapsing, not sure.

CW: possible relapse, calories and weight loss (no numbers).

I thought my recovery was going well, kind of?? I’m not sure if I was just lying to myself. I now eat without guilt 65% of the time, food noise has decreased but I still think about calories and my body. I suppose it’s less intense now tho.

I’ve lost quite a bit of weight. I’ve started eating less due to medication reducing my appetite and bc of that my stomach has shrunk, causing me to eat even less, causing my stomach to shrink even more. I can’t have full meals now, just snacks fill me up but I find myself being happy about that. I can’t tell if this is relapse or just smt to do with other mental issues. I’m happy about the weight loss and reduced appetite but ik I shouldn’t be, I just can’t stop myself from being happy about it.
Unfortunately my mental health is at the point that I don’t entirely care if I get worse, I’m just trying to survive.

I’m not asking for advice or anything, just wanting to get this off my chest. I feel too guilty to say this to ppl close to me.
