In the mood for some kind of thriller movie that involves amber alerts/kidnapping. And don't worry it's not for research I just randomly most days feel like watching certain movie based on whatever topic.

Had a rough life.. and now I wake up every day and I'm 40 years old. So many close calls and experiences but time marches on

I started drinking at 16yo, first time I ever drank was a dare, friends filming me on a VHS camcorder while I downed 2x 50cl of vodka. It tasted like nothing, and for a very short time I felt amazing, then blacked out and woke three days later (father was dating a nurse who took after me for 3 days while apparently I was in-out of consciousness and saying demonic things)

Since then been a binge drinker. Was in China for a while and hospitalised after a sucide attempt and they took my blood and found it to be 1.36% BAC.

Back later in Scotland, again hospitalised for suicide attempt and they wanted to measure my BAC but I kept maxing out the breahtlaysers until they found one with higher max and it read 1.13%.

Discharged next day when they meaused me at 0.8% BAC and I felt sober.

I've hundreds of times had binges that are really extreme and those numbers are high but no-where near my highest. Those are the ones when I was still able to talk and walk.

I have autism and from the first time drinking at 16yo I suddenly felt free. Don't know how to describe it. The only thing that's ever felt the same is Xanax which I had a presciption for for a few years. My liver has been scanned a few times and it's good as a new born's' which also doesn't help since if I hurt myself this bad there should be consequences. I'm told I have a very high genetic tolerance for alochol (China and UK record) but there's no medal for that. During the heaviest drinking in China i'd drink baijiu which is a cheap drink and 56% ABV. Endless bottles of that

There was one suicide attempt via alochol I did in a hotel in Edinburgh on the final day of a binge. 3x 75cl whisky in very short amount of time and it was the final day of a binge so I would have woken at around 0.8% then beforehand. That might have pushed me to highest ever known. I felt like my organs were shutting down, weird feeling, then slept and woke up.

I don't know how I can possibly quit since it's basically self-medicating. I need it to just to able control anxiety and be semi-able interact with other humans

I always know when I pass 1.00% BAC, it's like a switch flips in my head. I can still walk and talk and type but a kind of psychosis kicks in, lost fully inside own mind. Just run on pure emotions at that point. GP knows, nurses know, but there's no studies done because it's not common so I've no idea what damage done to brain. I've had doctors look at me like I'm a ghost in disbelief. For me every binge is just a normal binge that happens after too much things build up in my mind. And afterwards feel a sense of relief for around a day.

So when I'm typing or moving windows around or doing anything, every so often it'll just freeze. Happens really often like dozens of times per hour. I've checked and plenty free ram and cpu isn't overloaded. Any ideas?

So UK plumbers here if you were fitting a new kitchen and had carte blance', what distance from the wall would be ideal for the p-trap to be? By distance I mean wall surface to horizontal nut on a p-trap (in this case the McAlphine ASC10V) for standard uk kitchen unit and sink.

Not trying to disparage from work people put into the new arch-install.. but imho we don't need colors, and having to either press enter or sometimes spacebar to select an option is just confusing.

Humans have a tendency to always try to change things even if they were just fine beforehand and I think arch-install is good example of that.

So this was before Shia became a cannibal.. but it's a good story about growing up and taking responsibility for oneself. Wholesome. The music is preety good too. If you haven't seen it worth a watch on a yawny Sunday.

I was watching this american IRL streamer on Twitch who was travelling around Vietnam, I wrote in chat 'ask the guy next to u if he's related to Saville'

I took my hair trimmer and went to work on my hair and it looks so shit, even has near bald patches in parts.

I broke my arm a couple weeks ago and today gotta go hospital to get it checked up on. My mistake was going for a short haircut with fade, and also just doing it myself but just getting dressed and tying shoelaces is hard so I decided to DIY the hair appointment.

My question is, what lies should I tell myself to give me the confidence to go on about the day. ty
