38 years with Amex and have never gotten one of these until now

38 years as a high limit cardmember and I have never received an actual e-mail from American Express for me to request a CLI. The message appears to be legitimate based on the hyperlink, and it also opens the Amex mobile app. Are these something new, or have I just been missing them? Maybe they just didn’t like me in the past? 😅

The last time I actually requested a CLI was about four years ago.

Why does PLAIN count as a flavor?

Trying to order 20 boneless online. Want to get 3 flavors with the rest plain. It won't allow me to order 15 with sauce and leave the remaining 5 with no sauce, nor will it allow me to select "Plain" as an option without counting as one of my 3 flavors. WTH?

Strange anomaly on stick cam

The first photo is a view from my new ring floodlight Pro 4K. It clearly shows the wire leading all the way to the power station being charged from solar. The second photo is from my ring stick up cam. It looks like the wire just disappears and doesn’t terminate into anything. I would think I would at least see the wire bleed off the edge of the screen if the power station is out of frame. But it looks like it is just cut.

Any ideas?

Gwinnett County polling place wait time website is a sham

Gwinnett County website shows zero wait at the polling place that I just pulled up at. There are 20 to 30 people lined up outside. Apparently they are just reporting no wait and not giving an accurate time. Keep this in mind when checking on polling place wait times.

Unable to print/gift Groupon

I'm having a hell of a time gifting my wife a groupon for her to use on a girls night out. Bought a restaurant groupon and was going to print it, but the view voucher option is no longer available on the website.

Went to gift the voucher and most options gave me "Something went wrong. Please try again." Couldn't download the voucher, email didn't work, "share another way" didn't work, but finally SMS did work. I was able to print it off my phone.

Is there an issue? What happened to the view voucher option that easily allowed you to print without having to jump through hoops.

debian_chroot getting set to strange value when SSH in - Console works fine

I just spun up a new Ubuntu 26 minimal install and am having some strange issue with the prompt when I SSH in. It seems that the debian_chroot value is getting set to some odd value.

echo "$debian_chroot" returns the following:

08;start=115eadaf-c1c7-4b52-a750-2c1fad33f164;machineid=abdf77947e5d48a1a0127d7412808e14;user=xxxxxx;hostname=yyyyyyyy;bootid=53902ef6-d469-4ba3-98d7-37f976bc042e;pid=00000000000000002225;type=command;cwd=/home/xxxxxx

This is causing my prompt to contain this odd string. However, when I log in on the console I'm getting a normal prompt. The prompt also normalized when I sudo -s

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Forced out of PeachPass lanes over double solid due to construction

This weekend on I85 S near the I985 junction I was cruising along in the PP lane and was forced out due to construction and barrels. I had to exit over a double solid white.

Has this ever happened to anyone, and if so, did you receive a violation notification? I've had to deal with them before and it wasn't an easy task. Hoping they are suspending violations on that section during construction, but was just curious what happened if anyone had to deal with something similar.

Is it normal for an Ethernet connected LTE failover device to be eating up 20MB/day when in Normal and not Low Data? My carrier is showing daily use of 19-21Mb/day.

When I had it connected via tether it would use less than 1MB/day, but would sometimes drop offline.

Thanks!

Does anyone know if the power cord for the plug-in mount can be removed from the mount so it can be threaded through a small hole and then reattached? I want to drill a hole to run the power cord through, but I would much rather drill a small hole and pass the wire through then have to drill a large hole to pass the plug end through.

Looking to purchase a panel for my Oupes power station and found some of these locally for $125 new. Has anyone had any experience with this brand, or these panels in particular?

Thanks!

We're wanting to come for a concert and was wondering if anyone had any photos of the Tri Star Club or The Loft? Any recommendations? Are the TriStar seats any wider than the standard seats? Or would we be more comfortable in the Lodge seats? We're looking for a price doesn't matter experience at the arena.

Thanks!
