I haven’t posted here in a bit because I really do the same makeup everyday lol but I quite like how it turned out today!! I’ve been doing eyeliner a lot lately whenever I’m going out - I can’t stop 😆

I made a post in another sub recently asking for eyeliner tips and I would love any you have too!! I use a pencil right now which I do like, but I want to try getting a sharper line. I’m terrified to use liquid but if I must, I will 🥹

In the first two pics I have it curled. The last two are today after I impulsively cut it from 18 inches to.. I’m not sure 😅 but I love it I can’t help myself 😆 I’m also obsessed with the color in the sunlight in the last photo!

Which style do you prefer? 👀 both make me happy but I’m feeling shorter hair right now in this heat!!

I love my makeup today but I have no idea how to do eyeliner. I used a pencil to get the basic shape and then used my nail to drag it out (pics included) but I want to be able to just make a sharp line 😭I feel like it’s okay but not where I want it to be. I know a pencil probably isn’t the best but I’m so terrified to use a liquid. I also feel like I can never get the liner at the right angle, and if I get one side right I can’t get the other 🥲

Any product recs or tips for beginners? 🥹

If you know me at all (or if you’ve seen me on reddit) you know I love to try a new wig! Lately, I’ve been wearing this brown bob wig from Luvme. It looks like my own hair, but it’s way easier to manage!

Dewy setting spray ($10 from E.L.F.) and Palmer’s lotion (why didn’t anyone tell me that’s all I needed for my body!!!)

I feel like lotion never reallyyy moisturizes my body. My best friend told me to just try Palmer’s and idk why I’m so surprised but it’s really great!! I didn’t think I could look glowy without oil!! Sorry if this is old news but nobody told me 😭

I also switched from E.L.F. Stay All Night Setting Spray to the Power Grip Dewy one. I did not think I would like dewy skin and I’ve been avoiding it for so long but I think I’m converted 😆

Anyway I recommend both if you’re looking for glowy skin!!

Styled this wig with a side part! Last 3 photos are before any customization. Which part do you prefer? I think the side part is more flattering ☺️

Anyone else watch Wednesday way back when and get obsessed with her lip?? They used MAC lip liner in Nightmoth (with a way lighter hand and I think mixed with lip balm, but I really like the deeper color on me 😁)

I rarely wear a lip that’s not pinky nude and brown liner lol but I was feeling some purple today!!

Looking back at my husband and I’s engagement photos 🥹 wanted to share. Also wanted to bring up a recent experience I had.

I just attended an event with my husband’s family and realized I was the only Black person in the room. Although everyone has always been kind and welcoming to me, I can’t help but be aware of my race in moments like that.

This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this and it won’t be the last, so I wanted to know if anyone has experienced similar and how you navigate the internal feelings that can come up - even if everyone is nice to you?

I also wanted to open the conversation to any questions you all have for us as an interracial married couple.
