How is everyone’s weekend going? 🥰

Every fall, I love to switch my hair color to red or burgundy. This wig is the perfect match for me this season! 

Would you call this 99J or cherry cola hair? 🍒

I’m loving how this hair looks curled! This style was super easy to achieve with some heat protectant, a wand curler, and hair oil. I also added braids in the front and some “hair jewelry” cuffs (idk what to call them lol I normally wear them with faux locs!)

What style should I try next? 👀

Me being Black and wearing blonde hair is very controversial on reddit lol but I still love it so I’m going to keep posting regardless of what people think! I hope you guys don’t mind the blonde and I know you’ll be supportive of Black women wearing what makes them feel best ☺️💗

I don’t know how many of you will read this but I just want to add that I don’t think anyone has to look a certain way just because of their race. I’m here for all the Black women rocking the style that makes them happy, and I’m not here for being told what we can and can’t do. There’s no “right” way or one way to be Black, and wearing straight or blonde hair doesn’t mean I hate myself and my blackness. I actually love my blackness and nobody can take that from me!

People are gonna hate regardless of what we do, so we might as well do what makes us happy! ✨

Happy September! Changed my hair to a darker style and wearing some fall colors today 🍂🧡

Now that September is here, summer is officially over in my house. I am retiring curly brown with highlights (for now…) and we are welcoming black kinky body wave 😁 I’ve already put up my halloween lights and I grabbed a PSL as soon as they dropped 🎃

Looking at the wigs side by side, I can’t tell which one I prefer. I think I’ll keep the brown for spring/summer and black for fall/winter because it still lets me switch up my style rather than have to stick to one wig, but let me know if you have a favorite :-)

I keep seeing the girlies in this kinky body wave unit so I had to try it. I feel like a movie star right now! I had a whole photoshoot in my living room 😂🤩

Anyway.. this is another blush blind post. I’m still heavy-handed af and can’t help it 😭 but is it really THAT bad?! 🫣

Oh also wanted to add - I’ve had this wig since May and it’s still just as beautiful as day 1! I usually wear synthetic wigs that don’t last long, so it’s really nice to be able to pull this back out whenever I want to wear it 😁

I cut my hair, what do we think? 💭

Recently I had the opportunity to model for a Black woman-owned brand and I was so excited! They asked us to wear polished hairstyles and I felt this brown bob wig from Luvme was perfect for the occasion. I had been wearing it everyday anyway and I love it because it looks like my hair with a silk press.

I used a bit of BioSilk on the hair to style it and since it’s glueless, I didn’t have to worry about laying it down. I like that the color is pretty natural and the highlights are subtle but add some dimension.

I’ve included a bunch of different photos with the wig. The last two selfies are from the day of the photoshoot - I was so happy to be able to wear a wig and not have to worry about fussing with my hair. The full body photos are ones I submitted to the brand and the last photo is from the shoot!

I typically go longer with my hair, usually 18 inches, but I think this length is quite flattering. I recommend this wig for anyone looking for a shorter style!
