Which one do I keep?

Which one do I keep?

Hey! I bought these 2 because I've wanted one of the burger king games for a while - mainly due to the silly 360-style box art template that just says Xbox - but they were a US exclusive and shipping on eBay is expensive, so when I found a listing with 2 I decided I could sell one here and make some of my money back as they are worth a decent bit in the UK. But now I don't know which one to open and keep, and which one to keep sealed and sell.

I've heard sneak king is the sillier, worse game and is single player, while big bumpin' is more multiplayer. While I would like to mess about with the sneaking, I guess it could be better to play the other with friends - but then when am I ever going to sit down with someone and decide to play big bumpin' of all games.

English nationalists attack Gaelic language content

Hey. I run a small YouTube channel where I occasionally post clips of TV and Radio stations amongst other things, purely for archivisation as a hobby. I was born and have always lived in Scotland and am learning Gaelic, so when the election happened I thought why not record and post the BBC Alba program on the election. Clearly this reached the wrong audience.

I knew of historical anti-Gaelic sentiment but I had no idea people could really be this ignorant even today. Perhaps my initial reply was a bit over the line but I was genuinely shocked this is the first thing commented on such a video, as I love this beautiful language as a descendant of Polish immigrants and usually discussion around it is positive, in my experience at least. The replies tell you exactly what you need to know about Reform and the sort of fans they attract. I don't wish to get overly political here but it makes it clear Reform are first and last an English nationalist group.

Reliable list/map of China's official languages?

Hey. I've seen the "linguistic" maps of China with hugely over-represented almost extinct minority languages, and I've seen Wikipedia's list which groups all the various Yi languages as one and doesn't mention languages such as Kirgiz.

I'm looking for a good list of languages or scripts which are in some form recognized by governments in China, including local ones. Perhaps they are on road signs, postmarks, documents, state newspapers, etc.

China is quite complex with this, as you have situations like the Qapqal Xibe Autonomous County in the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, and you often don't know which languages are officially recognised and which aren't.

"Naidhe" as "News"

Hey! I know the proper word for News is Naidheachdan, but would someone be able to tell me if you could shorten it to "Naidhe" or something with it still making relative sense? For no other reason except that the full word is quite long and Google translate says it makes sense. Many thanks

▲ 148 r/Tetris

Edit: For the comments, the title is a joke. I know it's not a problem. It's anything but.

Edit 2: I've never managed to achieve even a 6 digit score :/

Ironically I'm not even that good at Tetris. I've never even managed to achieve a 6 digit score. But I thoroughly enjoy playing it.

I have especially good memories with Tetris Party Deluxe on DS, as that's what I had in my childhood. I've more recently gotten into PPT2 and T99, both of which I am also finding great - Playing with the Xbox Series X controller's D-pad feels like heaven. I got Worlds for the OG Xbox so I had something to play on 360 since Evolution is a bit expensive, but turns out it's absolutely horrible (on 360 backwards compatibility at least) so I eventually just got evolution - which is also nice since I can get achievements.

From what it seems the "Worlds" games/the 6th gen console games (idk about the dreamcast) seem to be the worst ones.

I'll probably make another post in a few months when I get more 🙂‍↕️
