Why does Alysanne Blackwood wear a painted Zoro mask?
Is it a normal custom for Blackwood people? She looks like El Barto. Does she wear it in the books?

Hello,
As I start watching the second episode of the releasing third season, it strikes me again how much weaker the dialogues of HotD are compared to the two other shows. It feels like it tries to be overly theatrical and bit poetic, but it comes off as pretentious, the unnatural figures of speech thrown around sounds pompous and make the exchange laborious and artificial ("I count that of more worth than a mountain of gold", "I ask for food you're giving me ruby", etc...) it's as if they are trying hard to create punchlines, and the interactions are somehow very superficial despite this more "sophisticated" aspect, or at least attempt at being sophisticated. Everytime someone talks it's so obvious, bland, unsurprising... IMO there's a clear gap between what we've had since season 2 and the beginning of the show like season 1 episode 6, where the interactions felt a bit more lively and immersive. I kind of feel like I am watching a poorly written theatre piece instead of a TV show. The scene with Rhaenyra discovering Jace's body was terribly weightless and boring to witness.
What strikes me the most is how every character seems to be speaking the same way, as if they weren't modulated to fit their character, they have the same slow and overly articulated elocution, the same construction of sentences, level of vocabulary and speech, meanwhile ik AKotSK for examples characters are very personal and "themselves", Maekar and Baelor speak quite differently even if they are brothers from the royalty, they have their own manners, paces, Lyonel Baratheon has the snappy sophisticated language of a nobleman with a more lightheaded attitude, and Jon Fossoway has as straight up countryside way of talking though his vocabulary is rich enough to refleat his birth rank.
Hello, I am midway through the last season and I am planning my program to finish the show those newt two weeks while I am in holliday.
I am a bit confused about the division of episodes though, my website shows 30 episodes and a movie of 2 hours, while the IMDB chart shows 28 episodes and 2 "final chapters".
Google result said "There are 28 episodes but there are 2 specials at the end which are both over an hour long." , but another said that those two specials are just the last of the 28 episodes tied together into big movies, and another said they are "bonus" or something...
Can you clarify the situation so I can plan my evenings? How many episodes are there exactly? Are those two final chapters part of the stories, and how long are they?
Thanks
Hello, I am intrigued by this dish I have seen in the anime Monster while a character eat in a coffee in Munich, I wonder if it's a real dish and would like to recreate it myself.
Please no season 4 spoilers.
Hello, I just finished season 3 and there are a few things I am not sure about regarding the Reiss family, could you help me figure that out if I am supposed to know at this point of the story?
I didn't really understand the deal with the fake king, at first I thought the council used the occasion of the Reiss losing the original titan to usurp him by placing a puppet, but it seems that he is still at the council pulling the strings?
If he was still in charge, then who ordered Kenny to kill Christa's mother and herself? Unless Kenny changed camp at the last minute in season 3, it seems to me that he should have been working for Reiss all along as he worked with his brother and her daughter after that, but it doesn't make sense for Reiss to order the death of the mother and Christa and pull this whole scene.
I thought the power of memory was an ablity of the original titan, but it's actually a family power than Reiss all have, inculding Christa? How? That's just fantasy territory and I have to accept that?
Thanks for the clarification, once again please don't tell me what I am not supposed to know by this point.
Hello.
I was always a bit puzzled hearing Megan and her family interact with each others, they are randomly alternating between french and english when they are speaking together alone. Why? Is it a common thing?
(no spoilers past 3x20 please!)
Hello, I posted two weeks ago to discuss about how I completely overlooked that Annie was the female titan in season 1, being surprised to see that it was so obvious to other people after watching two reactors identifying her like few seconds after she appeared.
Those reactors did it again with the beast titan, not immediately but a few episodes before the reveal.
For me this was even more unexpected, since the last episode of season 2 when we saw a bit of his face I was sure it was Erwin's father (and I am still sure it is so don't tell me if I am right or wrong about this I will see for myself), but I would never have made the connection with Grisha, and if I did I would have thought it was his brother or something, not his kid, for me them having the same glasses was simply red herring, like style is hereditary obviously, and Zeke looks just as old than Grisha the last time we saw him.
Could you tell me what clues there were that he is Eren's brother before the cave episode? I really see none.
EDIT: Thinking about it, I would actually go as far to say that I will be pissed if he isn't Erwin father because it would make so much sense, even more now knowing his father was sent to paradise, firstly he looks like the exact same person we see in the flashback, secondly the background would be that he is thrown from Marley as a titan, ate someone and forgot about it like Ymir, was found and became a history teacher pushed by his thurst for truth and fading memories, finding the truth about the Reiss conspiracy, being tortured and thrown out of the walls by the royal police, finding out he is a titan and thus surviving his wound and hating the humanity of Paradise.
Hello, I wanted to create an account for cooking subs to post my creation and exchange recpies, I made an account and used it for two weeks to post a few recipes then it got suspend without any explanation, since then every attempt to create a new one get suspend immediately even before I post. I was never sent any notiofication to inform me, and my main account (this one) never got any problem.

I love DS1 but it's objectively the easiest, it's the slowest, you can easily make a turtle build, shield and spear is overpowered, enemies have much simpler movest you can quickly learn on the go.
Meanwhile DS3 has more snappy combat with complex movesets and fast paced enemies, bosses are incredibly harder, and DS2 has the most difficult exploration with traps and ambushes everywhere.
I feel like there's some nostalgia bias here with people who played it first for years and moved to the next ones with a lot of experience, but didn't revisit in quite some times.
Hello, I don't understand what's going here with my secondaries. I made an account to focus on cooking creations, I post a few recipes and got some hundred of upvotes, then my account got suspended without any message or warning or notification, I just got a pop up saying "server error". Now if I try to create an ew one it gets immediately suspended.
My main account (this one) has no problem though.

Please no spoiler, I just finished season 1. I started the show monday have a been watching eagerly since, it was recommended after Vinland Saga and Monster, I enjoy it a lot, and there seems to be a mystery aspect around it that makes it very intriguing.
At the same time I am watching a duo of reactors watching the show for the first time, in the episode where the female titan first appear, one of the reactor finds who she is like literally few seconds after she appears on screen. I checked the comment and people were almost unanimous about how obvious it was.
I am feeling really silly because I didn't suspect it at all until the last stretch when Armin trapped her. Firstly I thought it was a complete outsider with her own purposes, then when we learned she was from inside I thought she was some old time player who had infiltrated the rank long ago and was from the exploration team. I thought she spared Armin because she saw he was a scared young new recruit and took pity.
Hello, I am sorry if this is not the proper sub to ask, but I can't post on the main one...
I just started Attack on Titans as recommended after Vinland Saga and Monster, and I finished season 1 last night, I really enjoyed it so far.
I just started season 2 but I noticed there are movies or something too, I don't know in which order I am supposed to watch.
EDIT: I wonder why this is downvote, what's wrong?
Merci.
Hello, in my initial post I sought recommendations for a new anime to watch after Monster and went for Planetes. The show had a really slow start, it was interesting but there was too much dilution in a comedy (with a humor I wasn't really vibing with, especially Ravi's character) and romance aspect, but the second half of the show really caught my interest and developped its classic approach of love into a more personal and philosophical conception, the characters were given a lot more depth too, overall I enjoyed the show a lot.
I am looking for a new show to start now, I am opened to longer propositions too so it can last me the whole summer. I am thinking about Attack on Titan but I am not sure, I saw a few combat scenes and really didn't like them, I know nothign about the story though.
It seems to me that the best outcome for the Mojave is Mr. House and the NCR working together, not one rather than the other. And since it kind of is what Mr. House envisioned, I'd say Mr. House is the best outcome for the Mojave.
Considering that the NCR would basically aim for what he does by taking his assets, and that they are less likely to be succesfull than he is, I wonder why they even want to suppress him in the first place. I believe that it's some kind of bloodthisty prideful decision from the military commandment more than an actual executive decision from the government. It's also a weird "matter of principle", which I believe is also the reason fans who are against House are against him.
What would the NCR accomplish by doing so? House is their ally, and his purpose includes seeing them flourish, House needs them, their ressources, their people, he wants to rebuild civilization and to do so he will need a network of cooperation on a large scale, with educational systems, engineering facilities, etc...
NCR working with house is what I believe to be the best outcome for both the NCR and House, they have more benefits to collaborate than they would have to destroy each others.
EDIT: Also, what do we assume ultimately happened in the show? Was House defeated but not disabled? Did the courier not even exist, so NCR won Hoover Dam by themselves by a very thin margin, which caused every faction to be almost annihilated?
