I’ve been riding bikes most of my life. For Milwaukee Record’s Spirit of Summer Week, I wrote about what biking has given me over the years, plus some of the people, rides, and organizations that make Milwaukee such a great city to explore by bike.
I wrote a very serious piece of journalism about eating calzones and drinking Campari at Festa Italiana.
By "very serious," I mean dumb.
Vote for Marathon county in our silly and completely dumb best Wisconsin county bracket!
Milwaukee Record is screening The Foot Fist Way at Avalon on Wednesday, July 15 at 7 p.m. It’s Danny McBride’s first starring role, a dark and deeply dumb-in-the-best-way comedy about a small-town taekwondo instructor with a gigantic ego and a rapidly collapsing personal life.
After the movie, we’re heading to Blackbird for some “Danny McBridal Shower.”
Amyl & The Sniffers gave Summerfest a much-needed kick in the teeth, and I wrote about it for Milwaukee Record. Great show!
This is the best thing I have written all year. It’s also the dumbest thing I have ever written in my life. Enjoy!
Last weekend I biked 98.3 miles from Milwaukee to Chicago with one extremely important mission: consume as much Italian food as possible along the way.
