Just Arrived: License to Drive -4k- German Import

Not sure if the 4k disc will release outside of Germany, so I had to grab it.

One of my favourite movies growing up...and it still holds up today...even if I identify more from the dad's perspective nowadays. Lol 😆

There's a fork in the road. Which path will you take?

Hate to see it, but it makes sense to me, based on the data (2nd Pic), why Playstation is stopping disks in 2028

Mind you, I have a library of ps5/4 games, check my posts for evidence, but i tell ya what, I could see this coming as early as 2022. I don't want it to be, but the masses have spoken, they've voted with their wallets, and now we're here.

Oh well, times they are a changing.

There's a Fork in the console road, with only 2 options

1)

I remember an interview with one of the beastie boys and he was asked if he listened to any new music, he responded with,

"Why would I listen to new music when there's obscure reggae from the 1970s that I haven't heard yet"..

....... this path involves not moving forward to the next gen, but going back in the past. And seeing what retro gems have been hidden from you.All these years

2)

Comes from MIB

While showing Agent J a futuristic, high-capacity disc, K remarks:

"This is a fascinating little gadget. It’ll replace CDs soon. Guess I’ll have to buy the 'White Album' again."....

..... this path acknowledges that change is always going to happen. There will always be a better technology coming. You have accepted this and are willing to grab the best technology when released.

🤔🤷‍♂️🙏🤝

Me, I made my call in 2022, I'm going with option 1. I have a sizeable collection of p s5/4 games. I figure that's more than a lifetime worth of entertainment. And if I do get an itch to add to the library, there's plenty of ps5/4/3/2/1 games to get that i haven't heard of and/or played.

Anyway, that's my .02 cents

Apologies for misspelled word, run-on sentences, wrong use of prepositional phrases, grammatical errors, punctuation errors , and overall poor grammar.

Also sorry for ranting

With Playstation stopping production on disc games, What does this mean for the value of current discs?

Will the value of my collection skyrocket?

😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆

The irony of Sony, who helped create CDs, DVDs, and Blurays, not making a ps6 with a disc drive

Isn't it ironic

Dont ya think 🤔

🙏RIP Physical Gaming 1976-2026🪦

To the physical gaming community:

People are acting like the writing hasn't been on the wall for years now

Parts prices are through the roof.

AAA publishers (GTA6) are going digital only.

Current gen consoles offer digital only sku's.

Heck, digital accounted for 60% of console games and this was nearly 10 years ago...latest estimates near 85% in favour of digital purchases.

Its over for physical gaming. We had a great 50 year run.

This is sad but expected. Times are changing. The masses are happy and content with digital / streaming

I am not saying I agree, just that I understand and have seen this for years.

Luckily I have amassed a library of 600+ games for ps5 and ps4 that should keep me happy and entertained for years to come.

Hopefully all of you were equally prepared for this and have a nice backlog to go through, or are beginning to collect for older consoles.

I remember an interview with one of the beastie boys and he was asked if he listened to any new music, he responded with, "Why would I listen to new music when there's obscure reggae from the 1970s that I haven't heard yet"... And that's my attitude on gaming at this point, not too concerned with next gen, when there's thousands of titles in the past that I don't know about, and or I haven't played.

This isnt the end, but the start of a new journey.

When one gaming door closes, several more open up!!

My .02 cents

GALACTIC JACK - Stiiizy Black Label

GALACTIC JACK

Type: Sativa

Genetics🧬: Jack Herer and Space Queen

THC%🔬: 26%

Roll 🚬: N/A Smokednin a Jack Herer Pipe

Value💲: 14g @ 68

Nose 👃 : boy oh boy, smells exactly like the Jack Herer that we all know And love. That classic, unmistakable, Jack Herer Sativa. A Citrus-Pin Sol aroma.

Looks 🧐 : i can easily copy and paste the sentiments from the nose category, classic unmistakable Jack Herer look and feel. Fairly dense (relative to its strain/type), lovely light green with orange-red hairs. A beautiful throwback

Taste 😤: Didn't go with my standard roll on this one, decided to break out my official wooden Jack Herer pipe. Tastes like that classic, early 90s to late 2000's sativa. Citrus flavour with each pull, and a pleasant citrus-pone aftertaste

Stoned 🗿: here's where I will probably get the hate. Galatic Jack is a very lovely & pleasant smoke, but it's not gonna bust you over the head like a lot of the flower of modern times. It 's exactly what it should be.... buzzed vibes, but with energy, where you actually want to get up and do something. It will be difficult for me to put it in one word, but the feeling that you get postmoke is very mellow, yet charged. I could read a book or go to a party. You could cuddle with your significant other on the couch, or you could go out to the garage and finally finish working on that k20 project car....all while being pleasantly stoned.

Overall🎓: B+

let the hateful comments pour in. 🫗 i'm sure many of you, especially people who have only been smoking for the last 5 to 10 years, will smoke this bud and immediately rank it as MID. And that assessment is quite understandable. Especially in this modern cannabis world of high t h c, and very little sativas on the shelves (especiallypure sativas). But if you've been smoking for the past decade, this will surely be a well loved bud. This Bud reminds me of a time where it was about the whole experience, not just a race to the largest THC numbers. When bud was the catalyst and not the end result.

Kush Mints by CAM

KUSH MINTS

Genetics🧬: Bubba Kush + Animal Mints

THC%🔬: 29.83%

Roll 🚬: Raw Ethereal Cone

Value💲: 3.5g @ $28

Nose 👃 : Phenomenal....Magical...Hints of Fruits and Funk. A mix of Cookies 🍪+ CatPiss 🐈+ Forbidden Fruit🍇

Looks 🧐 : Hallelujah. Then I saw her face, now I'm a believer in CAM. The pics dont do it justice, I wish i was a good photographer to show the breathtaking beauty of this bud. 📷High Times Cover-Ready📸

Taste 😤: Yummy Yummy Yummy i got Kush Mints in my Lunggies. Its like tasting Mother Earth's P😻$$¥

Stoned 🗿: Ultra Stoned, but still highly functional. A strong indica feeling with just enough sativa to not sink into the couch. A proper hybrid. Beautiful

Overall🎓: A

Passes the bar with flying colours. Probably the best I've smoked this season, if not this year (so far). Everything about this bud is on-point. Absolutely 0️⃣ zero complaints. This flower delivers on all aspects. It's Pretty Pretty Pretty Good.
