How can unemployment and tfw coexist?

There are currently approximately 1.4 million people on unemployment.

How come we're paying them with taxpayers money to sit at home while also letting people in to the country to fill jobs under the pretext that there are not enough workers here already?

For as long as unemployment is above 2%, we should not let people come in to take their jobs.

Advice for worksafe BC's coverage.

Good day, I work for a concrete company shoveling concrete everyday with two other people, one is the boss's son and the son's friend. They barely do any work and I shovel all the concrete myself.

Every morning they're late, about 30 - 45 minutes which means I can't start shoveling the concrete and the concrete is getting hard.

By the time I get to the end of 2 cubic meters I need a pic to break it apart before shoveling it.

That has caused me a lot of pain in my lower back, my hips, I have a hernia in my stomach, also muscle pain around the neck and shoulder top.

My boss does not give me any payroll stub, he just pays me by check every week. I don't know if he's enrolled with work safe BC.

In a situation like this, if my injuries are from the occupation itself, am I covered under worksafe BC?

I know I should talk to a doctor about this, but I would just like to have a little heads up before I go to the doctor tomorrow. Right now my back is hurting way too much to sit into the little clinic chairs. Just trying to save myself some extra pain.
