A Texas Rangers Father's Day Memory

Before Father's Day was over I wanted to share one of my absolute favorite memories with my now-deceased dad...he took me to old Arlington Stadium to watch the Rangers play the Athletics, and we got to see Nolan Ryan get his 5000th strikeout. I will never forget that night. I still have the ticket stub, kept in a sealed baseball card for the past, what, 37 years?

I knew scoring games would bring me fame and fortune!

My hand marking my scorecard made our local 10:00 news (Lincoln Saltdogs, independent AAPB team). There's my 3 seconds of fame...just waiting on the fortune!
