Discord upheld false "bullying and harassment" report.

Preface: A guy in chat said he was going to "horny post." He knows the rules, and that is not allowed. He said it as a joke. I said what is shown in screenshot 1. Screenshot 2 was the image in question that is linked. It was a joke. Nevertheless, I do not know how I was reported for "bullying and harassment." Discord confirmed I broke the rules. Was it kind of cringe to post that meme of that Xenomorph to what he said? Yeah, it was. Is it bullying/harassment? No.

Why would the Discord AI have upheld this? Was this an automatic report, or did someone report me?

Absolute schizo dooming of Amerikkka. All sides are evil Nazis!

This is beyond parody. I didn't think people like this unironically exist, but apparently, they do. Everyone is bad and evil, left or right. USDA = Fascism. Yes, the United States Department of Agriculture.

Hypothetical: A Felon President Tests a New Army Rifle. Is That a Federal Crime?

I've a legal question that I've recently thought about, and it's the following. Say a future President of the US is a convicted felon, and, for the sake of argument, it is something stupid like possession of cannabis/marijuana when he was a young adult decades ago. He cannot be around firearms or legally hold/fire them, despite being the Commander in Chief of the entire US armed forces.

Anyway, let's say there are rifle trials to replace the current service rifle of the US Army. Him being the Commander in Chief, he wants to have experience with said rifle so he can understand what his men and women in uniform will be using. He goes to a safe range to test the rifle. He is breaking the law, yes, since he is a felon.

What precedent might this set, and what legal arguments would this bring up? He's Commander in Chief and in charge of nuclear submarines, aircraft carrier groups, foreign policy, etc., and has the ability to deploy military force, but cannot test a new rifle being developed for the armed forces he commands.

Would he possibly be prosecuted for this after his time in office? Would arguments be made that he is exempt from this due to his position as Commander in Chief while President? Would folks argue that, since he is a felon and fired a rifle but wasn't prosecuted, other felons should have their gun rights restored?

The Grunt's Uniform in HL:A And Its Lore Implications/Thoughts

Half-Life: Alyx predominantly takes place in a quarantine zone full of Xen flora and fauna, and we see deceased Combine hazmat personnel in their yellow rubber jumpsuits with oxygen tanks. Likewise, the grunts also wear rubber hazard suits with smaller oxygen tanks on their backs. The other Combine units in the quarantine zone do not. However, all the Combine do have visible filters on their masks, so I’m not sure if Grunts are breathing filtered air or oxygen from their tanks- possibly just filtered air.

Anyway, we see grunts at the beginning of HL:A, during the elevator scene, in their hazmat suits with their oxygen tanks, which doesn’t make much sense. Ideally, that uniform would only be worn within the quarantine zones. It was probably because that was the only model for the grunt they had.

Clearly, the grunt was purposely designed to look as though it was meant to operate within a hazardous zone, with its rubber jumpsuit and oxygen tank, but the other Combine units lack any of these features. I wish HL:A had kept a unified look for the Combine units deployed within the quarantine zones and had them all looking as if they were wearing PPE/Hazardous Environmen-type gear.

Do the other Combine units not require the PPE the grunts require, or is it just a lore oversight?

Been playing HLL:V and it pales in comparison

It just makes me wish this game had ground vehicles, a slightly larger map, and more players. I remember in like 2018 or 2019 seeing screenshots of an m113 they were working on, but it never happened. Nothing even comes close to how punchy and nice the gunplay in this game feels. As a long term player since the original RO game, I pour one out to this franchise. '83 is a dud, unfortunately.

If Stormtrooper armor was made in the middle ages, what century would it be?

I'd say late 14th century. It has spaulders, a cuirass, etc. But it also has a cog peice, which isn't really a thing until the 16th century.

Would a new Fire & Sword game be cool?

Doesn't have to be real Eastern Europe, but it could be 17th century Calradia. Fire & Sword had my favorite multiplayer out of any of the games, except for Napoleonic Wars. It'll never get made officially, but I think it'd be cool to have one in the Bannerlord engine with a full sandbox.

Zombie respawns are set to none as default for b42 stable

It is now the intended way to play. It previously was low iirc. I'm hesitant to play the intended way because once you clear an area, you're basically safe forever now. Do zombies roam between offline areas? I dont wanna clear a town and have it forever be safe.

The Indie Stone has done something very few games have ever achieved

It is exceptional- 100k, no doubt. Never in all my life would I have thought, when I bought this game in 2014, that it would ever reach this milestone. B41 was, what, 50k? That was a lot back then.

Back then, the game didn't have cars or even 3D anything. In 2015, I used a car mod that was just a 2D sprite of a car. I stopped playing until 2020 and was blown away that the game had gone 3D and had cars by then.

It has certainly come a long way, and I hope TiS has made some fat stacks in their bank account. Hopefully, the 100k isn't just all previous owners returning, but also new folks getting into this wonderful game.

Let's hope B43 can be delivered before the end of the decade. As for NPCs? My grandchildren may get to enjoy them.

Seriously, though, while the progress is undeniably slow, every major update is basically a whole new game!

If you were a sorcerer/sorceress/witcher/higher vampire, would you still want a normal human as your significant other?

If you were a sorcerer, sorceress, witcher, or even a higher vampire, would you want a normal human as a significant other?

On one hand, love is love. On the other, you would likely live for centuries while retaining your youth through magic or your supernatural nature. Your human partner would continue to age normally and eventually die of old age.

Imagine being physically 30 while your husband or wife is physically 70. You may still love them just as much, but the difference in your physical ages would become apparent, even though you both looked similar when you first met decades earlier.

Then there is the emotional cost. If you only formed relationships with normal humans, you would almost certainly outlive every partner you ever had. Over the course of centuries, you could experience that loss over and over. Even if you accepted it mentally, repeatedly watching the people you love grow old and die would probably take a large toll on you.

Were there such things as a brigandine breastplate? I've never seen an exmaple depicted anywhere

This is something I was just thinking about, and I can't even remember seeing a single example of it depicted. What I'm talking about is what you could call a brigandine breastplate. We see a lot of solid plate breastplates and, of course, full cuirasses, but I don't think I've ever seen a brigandine breastplate. We all know the mid to late 14th century knights and men at arms who wore brigandines over mail or textile armor, but I've never seen a brigandine breastplate with no backplate

What is an underutilized area of the map you wish was used more?

The obvious answer would be the Nilfgaard Army Group "Center" camp, but there are many villages and areas around the map with a ton of detail where there's really not much going on. They probably had plans for them but, for whatever reason, couldn't make them into the game.

My top pick would be the area in western Velen where you find all the cannibals. There are quite a few camps, and it seems like there may have been a few quests planned around them. Instead, all you get is a single note with a recipe for human stew. The cannibals aren't even mentioned by any of the peasants, not even in passive dialogue.

Why/How Was Crow's Perch In Velen Damaged/In Disrepair?

Does anyone know why or how Crow's Perch in Velen became so heavily damaged and fell into such disrepair? We know the former lord of the estate fled to Fyke Isle with his family when the black ones came. Then, after an undisclosed amount of time, the Baron and his men took it over.

The Nilfgaardian garrison in Velen is relatively small, and it doesn't appear there was ever a siege to capture the castle. Was it simply left to fall into disrepair? Was it just not well maintained? I know Velen is poor, but I'm sure the local lord could at least have kept his own home maintained.

Also, how much time passed between the castle being abandoned and the Baron taking it over? I don't think it's ever stated anywhere.

Strenger and his men haven't been there long enough for things to just fall apart on their own.

Is anyone else never really satisfied with how their village/towns look?

I am never satisfied with the villages and towns I make. I make them organically and intentionally try to make them look historical. No grids, no long, straight roads. But in the end, I always end up thinking, "Eh, it looks too gamey." It looks too artificial, as if I'm trying too hard to make it look natural.

I look at depictions of historical medieval villages and use them as inspiration, but when I try to replicate them, something always seems to be off.

Are the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro (2026) comparable to the Jabra 75 Elite T?

I've had a pair of Jabra Elite 75t earbuds for nearly six years, and they've been absolutely amazing- the bass, the clarity, everything.

Unfortunately, the batteries aren't holding a charge anymore, and the left earbud stopped working a few weeks ago, so I'm looking for something new. For anyone who's owned the Samsung earbuds, or maybe even both at one point, how do the new (2026) Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro compare? Are they worth it? Is there any other recommendation in the $250 range?

Besides KCD, what video games get armor right?

I'd argue The Witcher video games series, at least for the NPCs. I'd also say Mordau does a decent job, as well as Half-Sword. Not many other games I think that actually make armor be historically inspired/accurate.

MAYBE 1 or 2 sets in all of the Elder Scrolls series.

Whitewashing that isn't patched or damaged?

I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult to add, since it's just a texture. Even on the highest whitewash coverage, the finish is still chipped and damaged. I would like to have some of my builds look pristine, as if they were newly built.

Does anyone else appreciate the historically inspired NPC armor of The Witcher?

Does anyone else appreciate the NPC armor in The Witcher universe, especially The Witcher 3? Take this Redanian soldier, for example. He's wearing a leather covered breastplate with a plackart and bevor, spaulders, rondels protecting the armpit area, flared half gauntlets, and couters. He is not wearing a cuirass, but a breastplate. If you looked behind him, you'd see his gambeson with X shaped straps holding the breastplate in place. You can't see them here, but he's also wearing cuisses. His helmet appears to be based on a barbute, though it isn't an exact copy of any I've seen.

The thing is, the entire thing looks historically inspired, and that's what I appreciate so much about The Witcher. It's fantasy, and the designers took liberties with the armor, but it still looks like something that could have actually existed.

Hopes for future additions

Hopes for future updates (though I know they'd be a ton of work):

  1. Dynamic or custom built wooden hoardings, if possible. These were often built in preparation for a siege, but they were also sometimes left up indefinitely. They provided cover from missiles for the defenders and allowed crossbowmen and bowmen to loose at angles that otherwise wouldn't be possible unless the walls had machicolations.

  2. Catwalks for inner courtyards. These would do wonders for the aesthetic.

  3. Timber battlements and walkways for walls, especially the thin walls. I like building fortified manors and would love to have wooden walkways on the walls like in the photo.

  4. Thatch roofing. This would be a godsend.

Of course, these are just my hopes, but I really hope they happen. I'd even pay for them as DLC if I had to.

Make it possible to raise and lower enemy visor?

It would be difficult to pull off, but using a rondel dagger in a grapple would be very cool. Knowing this game, though, stabbing someone in the face after managing to open their visor would probably come down to luck... at least for me.
