I started watching the show late, but I'm curious if everyone knew that Glenn Howerton was still going to appear in Season 13 by surprise, or something like that.
I mean, when I say something like "I wanted to pick some movie to watch tonight.", it feels natural in my own language, but Grammarly (basically a grammar checker) keeps to remove "some" and changes it to "a movie".
I wonder if I can still use "some movie" in this sentence, or is it incorrect? This is just a quick question, thank you!
Does anyone else find this feature pointless? I noticed one person gave a bunch of my recent reviews dislikes all at once, which I find pretty childish. Before they added this feature, it was simply better. Now, I sometimes feel kind of forced to go check if I got some likes or dislikes, lol.
Personally, I would group them as:
Phase 1 - Season 1–4: These truly feel like the golden years of the show.
Phase 2 - Season 5: I've always viewed this one as an inter‑phase season. The shift in aspect ratio before the move to HD resolution makes it feel like a standalone.
Phase 3 - Season 6-7: Basically, the seasons are about pregnant Dee and fat Mac. It felt like a fresh start for the HD resolution era.
Phase 4 - Season 8-12: This stretch finally feels like the classic run, neither early nor late, but comfortably in the middle. The same energy and quality.
Phase 5 - Season 13-14: Those two seasons felt different from the rest. I can't quite explain why. Just a different energy. I'd call them the Jacked Mac seasons.
Phase 6 - Season 15: More like a TV special about a trip to Ireland that takes 2 hours and 40 minutes.
Phase 7 - Season 16 onwards: Feels like a new era. They're pushing 50 and are continuing to do some pretty wild things.
Who would be the worst parent if each of them had a child?
I just finished the first season. It may be a bit silly to watch as an adult, but I used to love it as a child. Brenda Song was honestly a scene stealer, and the London & Maddie scenes are always excellent. Mr. Moseby is also hilarious!
For example, it says I rated it on 19 September, but I need the exact time because I want to log diary entries on Letterboxd. I used to watch lots of movies that I finished after midnight, which is why I need to check whether I watched them yesterday or on the current date.
Can I request that from IMDb?
I just binged the second season, and I'm really loving this show so far. It reminds me of Always Sunny at times, which is a plus. Also, the cast made me think they would have had better chemistry with the gang than the cast of Abbott Elementary.
The scene with the racist profile picture overlaid with a Ukrainian flag was such an Always Sunny moment, lol.
