Which are the best brokers for market data feeds?

I am considering Fyers and Angel One for real-time market data. Both provide WebSocket APIs for subscribing to live prices, but I'd like to know the views of people who have actually used them.

How do they compare in terms of:

  • Reliability and stability of the WebSocket feed
  • Quality of API/technical support
  • Ease of integration
  • Subscription limits and how well they handle a large number of instruments

I am looking to stream data for 10,000+ instruments at a time, so the subscription limits and reliability at that scale are particularly important to me.

If there are other brokers that you think are better for market data feeds, do suggest.

Is there a difference in Nescafe Classic Rs.2 sachet and the Rs.185 jar?

Just curious, is there any difference in the quality of the same Nescafe Classic in sachet and glass jar packaging? The sachet version feels more powdery, while the one in the glass jar has larger granules. Is this due to the packaging, or is there a difference in the manufacturing process as well?

How are Louis Stitch shoes?

I am looking to buy something to wear with trousers for smart-casual and semi-formal occasions, and trying to avoid something sporty-looking. Came across this brand on some threads. Anyone tried this?

The difference in behavior of conventionally attractive female professors vs non-attractive ones

This might sound a bit discriminatory, so take it as nothing more than a personal observation. In my college, I've been taught by both male and female professors, including both juniors and more senior faculty, and I've noticed this pattern among the female professors.

The professors who are conventionally less attractive have, been more rude, stern, or hyper-strict in their interactions with students. On the other hand, the relatively conventionally attractive professors have generally been calmer, more approachable, and more easygoing.

Obviously, this is based entirely on my personal experience and could just be just unknwon bias.

Has anyone else noticed something similar in their colleges?

Edit: I also read a theory : women who are considered attractive have generally received more positive social treatment throughout their lives, which may reinforce a more positive attitude in them. Conversely, women who received harsh or cold treatment might reflect same. So it's not totally their own fault.

Among the women of Suits, I feel Amy is the most underrated.

Granted, she didn't have much impact over the course of the full show, but for whatever little part she had, she absolutely killed it.

Jeevansathi search feature removed?

Just observed Jeevansathi app removed the dedicated searched feature. It was a separate feature different from regular partner preferences, where we could search dynamically as per our criteria. Now there's just single preferences feed.

Share your embarrassing incident with your crush. Here's mine.

Looking back, it was a pretty casual incident, but I was very embarrassed when it happened back in college in 2017.

Around 11:30 p.m. I was sitting in my hostel room, using WhatsApp, when I saw that my classmate, who was also my crush and whom I rarely talked to, had a new DP. I tapped on it to open the full-size photo. But the profile picture and call button on WhatsApp are right next to each other, so I accidentally pressed the call button instead.

I tried to end the call quickly, but it was already ringing. Panicking, I simply switched off my phone afterwards.

About 20 minutes later, after composing myself, I turned it back on and saw that she had called me back. I just replied sorry and that was the response I got from her. I didn't even go to class the next day, afraid to make eye contact with her.

So, that's one of my most embarrassing memories. What are yours?

Anyone remember Fox Kids?

Used to come as a 1 hour show on Star Plus in the late 90s and early 2000s. It aired episodes of cartoons like Spiderman, Ironman etc.

Any skills to generate grounded and concise design docs instead of excessively detailed ones?

I am a backend engineer and use Claude to generate HLD/LLD design docs in Markdown for various requirements. I usually provide context about the requirements, intended design, constraints, etc.

The problem is that Claude produces extremely long documents, thousands of words, lots of sections, and details that aren’t necessarily useful or grounded in the actual requirements.

Any skills to make it produce concise, tightly scoped, easy-to-read language and grounded design docs instead of filling the document with unnecessary detail?

I want to reduce having to trim the output every time manually.

Where I can get shoes that have similar style like these?

These are Arrigo Bello sneakers that are not available most of the time, and if available, they cost more than 12k. Any brand that makes similar-style shoes/sneakers?
