Is it possible to mirror my Samsung Galaxy s24 screen to another small screen android device and what would the best budget option be

I'm a artist looking to do cosplay and thought a Sci fi costume that can mirror my phone screen by incorporateing another phone or any small screen android device into the costume to be a display while keeping my main phone in my pocket would be cool. If possible what would the oldest/cheapest option be for what to look at since I imagine I would be looking at ebay. Ideally the smaller the device the better. Most things I saw on the topic were how to mirror the screen to a tablet or computer which are to large and im looking for the most compact and light I can get while on a budget since I'm basically just using it as a extra monitor

Any monitor around 3-4 inches that can mirror my phone (galaxy android) screen and can play YouTube?

Any monitor around 3-4 inches that can mirror my phone (galaxy android) screen and can play YouTube

Wanted to try to do a DIY phone mount for multi tasking while watching various tutorials for things and the thing I got that hangs around my neck with a goose neck tends to hurt. Wanted to make it kinda a mix of a dragonball scouter and headphone look and figured a screen size like that would be pretty manageable without blocking vision. I could go up a bit too like 4.5 inch. Just kinda looking for options since seems like on amazon lot of them involve stuff like arduino and raspberry pi and while I am planning to try learning arduino stuff I don't know if that type of tech is meant for phone monitors (most displays were for simple statistics) and I would like to see how I feel about the arduino before moving on to raspberry pi. I don't tend to get a lot of time to myself and the work I do is solo so even if it looks a bit silly it's not a issue and would like to at least improve myself if I'm going to be working long hours plus im a artist and a monitor like that could do some interesting things for tech aesthetic cosplay options.

Ideally wireless but I could probably run a long usbc cable between phone and monitor

Which of these resperator filters (6001 and 2097) should be used for resin printing

Pretty sure it's 6001 (the white ones) but I just want to double confirm that I read what I was reading correct because I do have a bit of a reading issue that can miss words in instructions. More for the sake of personal paranoia and having a easy "go to" for if I need a reminder. I think the 6001 is for fumes and the purple 2097 is for thicker particles. Like sawdust but additional clarification for ease of reference for those that know filters would be appreciated

Trying to do arduino physical armature to blender digital armature motion capture after seeing this video. Can someone guide me what to look into

Saw this on YouTube https://youtube.com/shorts/2ceRkvpJnZQ?is=QQjy1p8kbwt6bulT after looking into a bunch of stuff involving moving machine arms and as someone that does blender animation this looks legitamently amazing for making animating more streamlined in such a way I could basically do stop motion in blender but I'm having some troubling figuring out where to look. I'm seeing stuff for animating in blender to then transfer that animation to a machine but having a tricky time finding it the other way around. I have my arduino starting kit coming in on Friday but I want to work towards making somthing like in that video

Any recommends for minis of stereotype horn helmet vikings that aren't fantasy barbarians

This is for turnip 28 kitbash idea. Not looking for fantasy barbarian and when I look up fantasy viking miniatures I'm getting fantasy barbarians. I'm looking more so for somthing that looks like a regular human but in the stereotype viking look. Other results for fantasy viking miniatures I have found were just still just normal historical vikings or dudes with no helmet.

Wanted to do my Turnip28 army as a viking theme that's lore is somthing like "they come from a far off land in their boats to raid the villages of cyst" when in reality it's a swamp just half a mile off the map or maybe just a few yards off the map and have their look be reminicent of stereotypes of vikings but their helmets are hollowed tubers with the horns being depicted as the roots. I could probably just get some normal historic vikings and do the roots anyway but when I saw so few horn vikings I was surprised and got curious if any even existed that weren't rpg fantasy big burly barbarians. I've included a image with more the vibe I'm looking for. Worst case scenario I just get some normal viking and medieval looking guys since turnio 28 is kitbash focused anyway

Any recommended expanded universe model kits you recommend preferably from legends unless it's super cool in current Canon

Saw this old model and I was unaware they did model kits of expanded universe stuff from old canon and was curious what other cool old kits existed I could look into. Mostly looking for old canon stuff but if there is dead set somthing from new I should look at (that isn't from a show or movie but will accept comic/game/any other depiction) throw it towards me since this is my current hyperfixation

Trying to figure out what to get for security for my garage a bit less than 100 feet away

So car just got rummaged through and no cameras around to catch the guy so I've been looking at amazon and going through the headache of finding the best for my circumstance. I keep the car outside the garage and it's down a somewhat long sidewalk that just going roughly off Google maps seems to be a bit less than 100 feet out, definitely more than 50 feet. Headache right now is learning a lot of cameras seem to have non continuous recording and only record when motion detection hits which seems to be not the most reliable thing and I'm not seeing myself running a eathernet cable down the entire back yard. I was hoping to keep the budget around 50-60 since I don't got a lot of money but I'm starting to wonder if that isn't going to be a option.

So yes basic idea if anyone has a reliable wireless camera for the garage that's far out that has continuous recording. I'm not against getting a wifi extender and a large storage micro sd. I'm hoping that cameras exist that keep recording even if wifi goes down since my neighbor who also had his car rummaged through said he thinks the person might have had a wifi jammer since his cameras were down

[help] is there a downside mixing cheaper plasticine clay (craft smart brand) with monster clay

I've already spent more than I should but I do want to try using non drying clay. Figured mixing the premium with cheap would be a good way to get more bang out of my buck but unsure if I may be spending more for getting out less as the cheap ones downsides consumes the premium upsides or even causing some sort of problem if the stuff making up both don't interact well with each other

Edit : my watch looks like that because I paint apartments

Anyway to get ipad apps like procreate dreams to only store space of projects on icloud or external drive

I forget the specific type of ipad I got (think it was somthing like 2020 Gen 8 or soothing like that if memory serves) and I wanted to use it for art stuff but it's 32 gigs storage and half of that is taken up by system data. It gets filled up quick and I noticed when using procreate dreams it's increasing the storage space the app is using up then crashes after I run out of ipad space. I couldn't seem to find a way to have all data transfer to icloud or a iPad flash drive as I draw even though I do have it set for the app to be stored on icloud. Unsure if I'm missing somthing or if I'll just have to chop up any project I make into bits, export, then delete because even though I have very few photos/videos and not a large amount of apps procreate dreams seems to like bloating up pretty fast

Do miniatures effects paints exist for regular painting

Really like the effects paints from army painter like the ones that replicate blood, the icky slimes and vomits for plague demons, the rust textures and the ones that look like neon glows for hot plasma effects and I'm a bit suprised it seems like these kind of things only exist for mini painting and I havnt found any for normal canvas and paper. While I could probably just incorporate the mini paints themselves it would be nice to know if there are any meant for sketchbooks and canvas especially if they come in larger containers for a similar price.

Any recommended sound editing ipad apps for making Sci fi sound effects like in star wars

Been thinking it might be fun to try to make a small star wars fan animation but I've only done a bit of audio stuff in audacity a few years ago so not quite sure the exact things to look for but so far koala and wavebox looks promising however when looking into various apps I only saw those two have posts relating to music so before I spend money (went on a bit of a spending spree with other stuff this week) figured I would ask here what they recommend. Mainly looking for stuff that can make laser effects, the Sci fi helmet voice filter like what Boba fett and Vader got, and starship sounds. I assume most audio editors have a lot of overlap between music and sfx but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Mainly want to use iPad for this since at home my beloved cat loves to sync his claws into my arms if I don't give him attention so for doing different art I like to be portable and get out of the house and generally seems like ipad apps tend to be simple but competent.

Want to use kinect for blender motion capture. How is windows 11 compatibility

Saw on Amazon a pc adapter but it didn't mention windows 11 in compatibility so curious if it still will work fine. Also unsure if all kinects work with windows 11 or specific ones. Looking online and it seems like people have had issues but unsure if that is specific to them or if I should expect headaches.

Does extracting models from the kyber mods require the frosty editor method or is it easier

Hope this isn't a dumb question but wanted to ask here before I either forget or waste time. I was considering ripping some of the models like ig88 to use as reference for some potential fanart and i was looking into how the model ripping process worked for battlefront 2 and with how many unique characters there are from kyber I was curious if it was easier to yoink them out and put them in blender or if it's as easy as putting the files in some sort of file converter. I assume i would still need to use the frosty editor but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask since the only time I ripped models before was the main menu of dawn of war and looking at new software always feels like a small headache to me.

What size craft store chain should I get for 6 inch custom figure chainmail

So I got annoyed there were basically no historic knight figures so I thought it might be cool to make my own. That said looking at the different size chains at the craft store im unsure what would fit a 6 inch figure best. Im leaning 2mm but that might be to small so maybe 3? Figured I would ask around here since I figured yall might know sizes better than me.

What do you think the closest to human kibble I can get as a picky eater with a low budget. Better explination below.

Tldr: since I'm so picky with what I call a cursed pallette I was wondering if I can get away with just eating mixed nuts through the day to feel full and avoid the fast food and takeout for flavor variety and I was wondering what other foods I could add to the nuts for further variety that doesn't expire quickly. Alternative ideas welcome but main idea is portability, nutrition, and longetivity that is easy for even the pickiest eaters to down.

Context :

So most of my life I've struggled to find food I've found appealing and my mom definently tried. Forced me to try a bunch of different things as a child and teen but it would frequently end up with me gagging and became a regular fear of trying new foods. I'm not looking perticularly to make this about trying new foods as I do at times will experiment lightly but I'm also the type to say I wish I could get through life with food in a pill and I kinda envy the concept of pet food being this kinda meat flavored cereal. Got me thinking if maybe there is a combination of nuts that I could maybe season or boil with seasoning/sauce to flavor that I could bag and use to give me the nutrients and filling to eat through the day.

On top of the nuts idea I was wondering if there is any other types of food I can just throw in a bag without having to cook that last a long time. Work and sleep schedule tend to make it hard to give myself the time to make breakfast and when I get home I just generally am to tired to cook. I also just generally don't like the experience.

How I currently eat is I get some French bread to Monch on at work to be filling and ideally if i didn't forget to grab it as a rush out the door I also put some cold hamsteak slices and some spinach in a zip lock so I have some nutrition but I hate how fast spinach expires which is the main issue with this process. When I get home from work I've found a easy way to cook that takes very little effort is filling a pan with water, brown rice, and chicken with a bunch of spices and setting it on the induction cooker for around 14 minutes and somtimes if I'm feeling it grab the spinach for that too then I can just leave it until it's ready since no flame and kitchen isn't far away .

While this is probably fine for a picky eater diet a lot of it has that issue of it lacks satisfaction and filling (cold ham with spinach) or portability (the chicken with rice) so I've been wondering if I could just get a bunch of nuts to flavor and if there are any non nut foods I can include that won't expire in a week to add additional flavor and filling. I feel like the blandness of nuts would actually help avoid that feeling of the same food over and over again if I'm just passively getting a handful through the day (thought process is like how white and Grey are colors that go with everything but I don't eat nuts often so maybe this is a dumb thought) while seasonings will make it be able to have different flavors when I want to add that easy flavor variety and I havnt done a lot of research yet I'm pretty sure nuts are supposed to be nutrient rich.

Mainly wanted to ask this idea here if this sounds like a dumb idea since I know very little about foods and have generally had bad experiences with a lot and I do try to find ways to eat healthy with my cursed taste pallet it's not exactly the most fun and a lot of times I end up either get Chinese takeout or fast food just to have a difference in taste while feeling filled and that can rack up money if done to much and I don't have a lot of money so this is a thought of trying try be creative in a way to constantly feel "filled" to not feel hungry generally and I can avoid the fast food and takeout while retaining a healthy diet with food that takes a while to expire.

Is it possible to "draw" a 3d outline that can be filled with polys in nomad

Had this thought when driving and I've only messed around a bit in nomad and currently other thing not 3d has been taking up every second of life so I havnt been able to dig deeper yet but I had this thought that it might be neat to try drawing a series of vertices like a 3d outline and then have the empty space filled with polys but idk if somthing like drawing vertices like a outline is possible. I think I remember somthing like that in blender being able to turn grease pencil strokes into a mesh or somthing but I could be misremembering. Figured this idea would be good for blocking out a sillouette and details without having to bring out a bunch of primitive shapes and combining them which is a bit annoying for me atm with no mouse and keyboard

I have this portable car jumpstarter battery but don't know where the wall plug in is but I do have these two that fit in the port. Are they good to use or will they be a problem.

I still have the car charger for the battery but have no clue where the wall plug in is and I'm looking at the outputs on these but I don't know electrical terms to well. I assume the 5v one would be safe but slow but idk if the 2 amp part is dangerous and the 15 volt one feels like it would be risky and I'm unfamiliar with the lable of mA next to the 100.i tried looking into volts and amps meaning but I got confused trying to quickly figure it out and im trying to get this jumpstarting over with and I still can use my other car to Jumpstart but figured I would ask about if I could put either these into the battery without issue.

Edit:for what it's worth I found another that says output is 8.4V-1.5A

EDIT2:just realized I forgot to include a image but I'm not seeing the option to add one after posting at least on mobile. Battery says 12V-1A input and 3 ac adapters output 15V - 1000mA, 5V-2A, and 8.4V-1.5A

How much of a performance hit if I have a ton of deformers

New to this and I've come to understand it was probably a bad idea to give every art mesh a deformer. Mainly due to the parents messing with the child deformers and while I've untangled a bunch of that it got me wondering if me having a bunch of deformers is going to be a performance hit.

Just now I've counted 37 just on the head and havnt done the body yet so less than I thought but idk what a lot of deformers is considered

What would be a good kit to learn electronics that would work for moving around figures for a stop motion project

So I thought it might be a fun project to do stop motion stuff with some star wars figures I got and I was thinking if I modify them to have servos and motors I could save time for things like head moving and have them attach to a rod underneath them in a shoe that can move them across a board with the camera not showing their legs and have the rod go up and down to mimic walking motion. Was looking at a robotics kit that was a wood crane grabber thing and was curious if this would teach me the basics and fundamentals to have a doll /stop motion figure move their head and move along a path or if these have to much already pre assembled and won't teach me the basics. Planning on looking deeper into this stuff after work but wanted to get some direct responses to have a easier starting spot. Any other kit recommends would be appreciated. Would prefer somthing like these kits that give you a cool toy /gadget as I struggle with long tutorials and having a direct thing I work towards would probabily remove a lot of ambiguity

Also just for clarification the grabber in the image won't be moving the figures. I'm just curious if it would teach me the basics for what I'm looking to do after building it
