I have no idea how this happened but I don’t care

Theres four bodies in this picture, more downstream.
So i wanted heat spreaders for my ram but didn’t want to spend $20 on copper ones and didnt want aluminium ones and since I had lots of copper pipe (see example of the material in last image) I took the pipes, cut them to length, cut down the side and flattened it, cut the fins that do almost nothing, and then folded over the top so it looks cooler. it took 45 minutes per plate to make something that costs $20 but I like doing it myself. I haven’t mounted them yet which is why you see ddr2 in the picture
So using a vice, two pairs of pliers, a file, a hammer, and a saw, I made these in around 45 minutes each from some old copper pipe (example in last image) all to save $8. being copper though these should be better than the ones I could have afforded. Yes I know thats ddr2 ram, it’s not attached to it Im just using it as an example because I have a lot lying around. my conclusion: this took like three hours and was a pain to make and required a rather large (and expensive) vise. but I was bored and didnt want to buy these
It’s some heat spreaders I tried to make from copper, I haven’t mounted them yet since I will likely redesign it. The modules are only on one side of the the dimms and I have plenty of copper to redo it. The reason as to why i am doing this? I don’t really have a good reason I just want to see if I can make heat spreaders to cool the ram. Any feedback or better design ideas would be appreciated.
Saw a couple posts saying ‘i would beat you at a nerf war’ and ‘I could beat that other guy at a nerf war’ well I can beat all of you at a nerf war
*i am missing around 10-15 blasters which I could not find.
dont ask what happened to the longstrike
so I have four apple devices - an iPad 9, an iPad 2, a 2011 iMac I installed windows on, and a 2006 Mac Pro I installed windows on. I have a lot of photos on my iPad 9 since while still being an iPad camera, is the best camera I have. then one day I noticed that most of the photos where uploaded to my poor 16gb iPad 2 using up all the storage. so naturally I find out it’s some iCloud thing which i try to disable but of course apple makes it as hard to do as possible through their poorly designed os so I think it’s disconnected but I still don’t know. either way I start deleting the photos from the photos app since I have them on my iPad (also I never wanted to use iCloud for anything Apple just forces it on you) and then realize that deleting them claims to not only remove them from the iPad 2 but also remove it from iCloud and all devices meaning that supposedly through deleting photos from one device that never should have been on said device it removes them from every device. WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS CONFUSING NONESENSE APPLE. IF I WANT MY PHOTOS ON ONE THING WHERE I COULD ACCESS THEM EVERYWHERE I WOULD UPLOAD THEM TO MY NAS.
I own 2 stock original stampedes I thrifted for around $5 each and both seem to work but when I try to use af waffle darts, if jams the first five or six rounds and then works fine in both units every time. I then tried regular ’elite‘ darts and they worked about as well as elite darts in a stampede should. is this a known problem? are there darts better than elite darts that do work with the stampede?
I have an old dell optiplex with windows home server but I built a new system with more storage to replace it but could not install windows home server due to drivers not existing for the hardware. I have tried several Linux based os for this such as Debian, proxmox, and openmediavault and while I did successfully install these I couldn’t figure out how to make it actually work as a server to access in my lan. And so I ask if there is some magical operating system out there that will work on modern hardware without me having to do any hard work that I can just go to in file explorer just like windows home server.
I am trying to find a case that works for my needs and am making this post to see if anyone has any recommendations that suit my needs.
my needs are:
fits full atx motherboard
fits many pcie cards
fits a good amount of fans
fits 4 hard drives (ssd isnt important i will be using an m.2)
fits to my budget (not extremely expensive)
fits at least two disk drives
I don't care about having a windows or not since my pc will look awful (function over form) a window is more of an optional thing
fits on my dest (several folding tables so almost anything fits)
I don't plan to liquid cool anything due to getting a good deal on a air cooler
I might be doing sli if i can find a second gpu
the reasoning behind all of this: I am using older components due to budget, I need disk drives due to owning hundreds of cd-rs and dvd-rs which i use a lot for, well, games I obtained through methods I cannot mention and file transfer (I dont use them for file transfer as often any more thanks to my server) I dont care about noise, I care about temperatures. i need a lot of drives to fit because i have a lot of 1tb drives i pulled from old systems I thrifted (I get pcs for like 1-15 dollars normally to fix or salvage just for fun) from the looks of this i am worried i may have to find an older pc case but am curious if there is a new option that works.
knowing the internet posting this may be a bad idea.
I got the xshot insanity motorized rage fire for cheap at a flea market working but without the chain and the only chains I can find online near the original chains capacity cost a lot of money $20+. if I had a 3d printer I would just make them but I don’t and I don’t know anybody with one. currently I am trying to make one from one of those other designs of xshot belts but it’s very difficult. if anyone knows where I can buy one thats actually not very expensive please let me know
i know it seems pretty ambitious so if you have a better idea for how to make this let me know
for the record i only use clipchamp because its free and i am used to it, but there is one video i am trying to export but it ends up with the footage all corrupted looking despite it being fine in the editor.
so on most of my computers and devices the Wi-Fi speed is around 15-25mbps which is fine but for some reason on my desktop (technically a gaming laptop hooked up to external monitors) it only gets a download speed of around 0.97mbps. in fact recently the network adapter seemed to have died and I replaced it with one I pulled from my spare parts laptops and the speed is still slow. literally my 2010 iMac sitting next to it has a faster Wi-Fi speed than this Msi gaming laptop from 2017 (the device with the issue)
the best part is I am also a commie
(please note i am not looking for a large argument in the comments of this)
Soon I will be switching out to a summer uniform more fit to the temperature and this year I plan to get a winter uniform as it was rather cold last year as pictured. and yes, I go out like this it’s a protest to capitalism (please don’t get political with this)
