Just a narrative theory,
The TM is meant to be all powerful etc......so narratively speaking all these locations are ones the TM owns and sends contestants to literally for his own amusement and every series, we see another one (aside from the ones in the park nearby.......cause its a park)

same as the title, i sent my ID to their fucking persona thing, waited 3 days (even though its instant) and still not able to make basic purchases and get a leatherman without a credit card (EVEN THOUGH SENDING MY ID WAS BECAUSE I DONT HAVE A CREDIT CARD) MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!!

i do have one critism, for me, i think they could have done more with the story, it just feels like lazy writing from fox and the story just felt like a half hour story with filler attached to drag it out for run time
we all know fox did another "foxjob", but had it continued into a series, it does make me wonder (assuming they had plans laid out.....providing a comission)
