Need your honest opinion and advice

Is it possible for someone to put a malware (RAT/Spyware/or a tool that can mirror your devices to theirs) in our devices (phones and laptop) without them getting physically close to us or our devices and sending us links or files to download? Like remotely putting a malware (RAT)?

is there a way to get rid of them? Can they also see what you are doing when your phone is offline? is factory reset enough or should just buy a new one? The thought of someone being able to see what I am doing in my phone is bothering since I value my privacy.

Update issue

After the scan, Device Protection keeps suggesting that I update my phone even though it's already up to date.

But before this, the previous version of my phone (I just did a factory reset but I installed the updates right away) was outdated, could that be the reason? Or is it because Samsung already stopped giving updates to the model of my phone?

I saw a post a few weeks ago from someone who had the same issue in a different subreddit, though I'm not sure if same brand or device.

Are we hacked?

I need advice from people who are into technology or knows a lot of stuff because I'm worried about my niece. Is it possible for someone to get control of your social media accounts and devices if the person or the people that we're suspicious of is not even near us, used our devices, connected to the same network, and far from us but still same city?

My niece left her circle of friends (cof) and they didn't end up in good terms. Now, she's suspecting that her ex cof are not just stalking her social media accounts but also managed to get into her accounts, including our devices, because some of their posts match (very specific) with what my niece do offline and online. Because of this, her mental health is deteriorating. We want to take action or even bring up to the authorities but we don't have a solid proof because the posts didn't mention anyone.

I already checked the suspected affected accounts but there are no unfamiliar devices login. The security app of the devices are showing no virus or malware too.

Nakakapagod

Need help with my account

Has anyone here successfully recovered their Instagram account after losing access to the authentication app?

I know the password and still have access to the email associated with the account, but I lost access to the authentication app because of a dumb decision I made. The account also doesn't have a phone number linked to it, and I didn't save the backup codes.

There's another way to access the account, but it requires entering a code that will be sent to the email address that was previously associated with it. Unfortunately, that email was already deactivated due to inactivity.

It's just a fan account but I'm a sentimental person and I've had it for almost a decade.

Google official emails

How can I tell if an email is really from Google? Also how can I verify that the link included in the email is legitimate? Is there a website that can check both?

I'm asking in advance in case Google approves my account recovery request because the recovery link they send may only be valid for a few days, and I'm worried I might click it out of excitement without verifying first if it's genuine.

Context: I'm currently waiting for an email from Google that includes a recovery link (that's what they told me). I'm trying to recover an account that doesn't have a recovery email or phone number, and I also wasn't able to save my backup codes. I only followed Google's recommended tips by submitting the recovery request from same device, location and wifi.

Account recovery

Did anyone here successfully recover their account just by trying to sign in using the same phone, browser, and wifi network?

I lost access to an account that requires authentication code, and unfortunately, I didn't save my backup codes. I also didn't add a recovery email or phone number because I was too confident that I would never lose access to it. I relied solely on the app.

Google asked me to provide an email address and said I should wait 5 days. They said they'll send me a link to sign in to the account, but the waiting is making me anxious. I don't know if I should get my hopes up or start preparing for the worst.

Meed help please I'm shaking
