Playing footballmanager with a database from 98 with Juventus and threw out the old squad like Zidane + buying Nedved and the others. This perticular game is my oldest memory of football, the most electric night ever and made me a Juventus fan

From my memory and from highlights, Juventus players swarmed the entire pitch at all times but i cant really tell from the midfield and from the back how they set up. With Nedved & Del Piero between the lines, Trezeguet as a centerforward, the attacking trio looked like a modern attacking trio.

But Zambrotta and Davids sometimes look central, and sometimes look like wingers. Did Tacchinardi play alone in the center? If not, how tf does Zambrotta and Davids stay so wide? During attacks, because i dont see Thuram or Birindelli bombard forward so i assume they just stayed back. If they stayed back and Zambrotta & Davids provided the width, did Tacchinardi really play the midfield all by himself? If so, did Davids & Zambrotta tuck in during defence?

Ever since Koopmeiners joined he has been used as either a static AM under Motta where we barely attacked, him playing with his back towards goal or as a DM or LCB

Koopmeiners is an attacking central midfielder. He starts from the midfield, and makes intelligent runs at the defence trough channels. He has elite movement off the ball, good long shots and good finishing. Thats it. That is all he is good at. He is not a player that dictates play, makes Pirlo passes, has not got the technique for it, or dribbles. He needs space and a trough ball, he is actually really really lethal when used correctly. But non of our managers do. Expect against Gala.

Sure, Motta put him as am. But again, in a possession based team that barely created anything, koopmeiner played with his back against the goal. Not running from the midfield, in space, trough channels, to goals.

And ofcourse, being shit and misused for years has obviously taken a toll on his confidence. But, who would not?

Jag är från storstan och bott i lägenhet hela mitt liv och jag hatar både två. Jag har länge sparat mycket av lönen i fonder och andra tillgångar för att en dag kunna vara ekonomiskt oberoende, betala av ett hus och flytta någonstans utan grannar där jag kan leva ett fritt liv utan någon stress så lite beroende av andra som jag kan. 1. Vatten. Jag har förstått att när man äger ett hus kan man mot regelbunden betalning koppla upp sig till kommunens VA. Hur funkar det om man inte gör det? Är egen brunn något pålitligt? Hur går det till med avloppen? Vart tar avloppsvattnet vägen om man inte är uppkopplad?
2. El. Solpaneler har jag planerat kunna försörja mig med el under sommarhalvåret. Detta blir nog den omöjliga biten att knäcka, men vad är möjligheterna för att på något sätt bli självförsörjande med el under vinterhalvåret?

Jag kommer innan husets byggande vara fri från arbete och inte ha något emot att utföra underhåll själv. Återigen, jag är från storstan uppvuxen i en lägenhet och vet inget bättre.

Har arbetat sedan 18 år gammal och vart någonstans i de lägre spannet i vad som klassas som höginkomsttagare. Enligt min kalkyl kan jag gå i pension om 10 år om det vill sig väl med aktiefonderna. Med det sagt, kommer jag få någon pension alls med tanke på hur tidigt jag kommer sluta jobba?

V och MP slår mig som samma parti fast att ena har fokus på miljön där båda två är i princip extremvänster. Nästan identisk politik förutum att MP fokuserar mer på miljön. Så ja, vad är Cs problem med V som de inte har med MP?

Im definetly more of a hardgainer. Needing lots of volume and frequency and things start to look good. Other than my arms, mostly because of my absolutely zero triceps.

Ive done everything the last 5 years from full body to UL to ULPPL to Arnold split to PPL in hopes of getting my arms. Did every single tricep excercise there is from regular pushdowns, overhead extensions, close grip bench with everything from dumbells, cables and barbells with everything from 6-12 weekly sets per week with 2-3 frequency.

Absolutely nothing worked, until i decided to buy a dips station to workout from home and stop going to the gym. I played around with form to keep shoulder pain away because before when i tried dips my shoulder hurt the first rep when doing as others said, but the way that worked was going pretty narrow grip width on the V bar, facing inwards the dip station, and bending over a bit with legs forward and pushing the station down rather than pushing me up

The stretch is maximum, no barbell in the way in the way of a insane stretch, no standing unstable shit with cables, the load is heavy AF but stable as mother earth and the contraction is fucking mental

My god has my triceps finallt started growing, the lateral head is finally popping from the side when i flex my arms

And as a bonus my chest and front delts got some sweet extra volume too, leading me to be able to cut down sets of chest and ovh press

What a performance. His agility, speed, determination, aggression, long shots, movement, passes were all on point. But most of all what i dont seen others commenting was his pressing.

He is to thank for Koopmeiners goal. Rewatch it if you did not notice. Nico has picked up two players, decides to trick the goalkeeper that he will mark the one seeing Nico, hiding behind the back of the other Parma player who does not see him, so the one with Nico behind his back recieves the ball, Nico lurks behind him untill the pass comes then like a god damn hyena rushes him from behind, wins the ball and the counterattack results in a goal. He also made the run to the wing, opening space for Koopmeiners through the middle because the fullbacked marked Nico who was ahead of Koopmeiner. Absolutely beautiful 10/10 display of what pressing, counterattack & creating space is all about in 5 seconds.

One player i really fucking hate is Jonathan Davies. He can run as much as he wants idk if he tops the stat because all he does is jogging away from the ball and jogging around the press not aiming to ever win the ball. Never seen such a passive scared little girl in our shirts before. He always jogs slowly to the press, not once raising the intensity, and i cant for the life of me remember him ever winning the ball and launching a counterattack and is too stupid to ever create space for anyone.

This is why Celik and Nico are so great, they are pressing animals and an overload of grinta which this team desperatly needs.

Well done Nico, 10/10 performance reminded me a bit about Tevez. And i really hope he stays. Do you think he will stay?

As a Juventus fan, and a football manager player, im trying to recreate his tactics. But i dont really understand it as it does not have as much material studied as obviously better managers like Guardiola & Klopp

Whenever i watch clips of goals scored at Juventus under him, there is just sooo many players forward taking runs behind the defence but still so controlled both in the middle and the back

Lichtsteiner and Asamoah bombarding up and down the flanks. Pogba and Vidal making unmarked runs behind the defence, while also having two forwards on the field

How did they find the balance between controlling the game and just send everyone up?

First time i ever walked into a gym was early 2000s. What i learned from the big guys at the gym was high volume and going hard asf leave absolutely nothing left on the table. Now i have not worked out consistently since then, i was in for 3 months every couple of years before quitting. I started training seriously and consistently 5 years ago. I recently started doing dips and trying to get as strong as i can on them, seeing the guy who holds the world record on dips recommend to try to hit 8 reps on all 3 sets before adding weight is honestly the first time ive tried leaving reps in reserve. It felt soooo good that i did this for all my compounds. If i could hit 9 reps the first set, i still stopped at 8. Next was maybe 7-8 with 1 rir, the last one one truly failure at 6-7 reps.

My god.. the rest of the workout is 10x higher quality when every single set is not to failure. It added more reps across 3 sets not going to failure maybe the last set to failure than what to failure every set did

I always felt days like ”upper body” day sucks because halfway through my workout, i was absolutely destroyed and there fore all my isolation lifts in the end were garbage, and therefor looked dyel. Now, they actually got a pretty damn good stimulus and the quality was great.

While i still strongly favor higher volumes after trying lower volume, i think going to failure on every set and not leaving just a single rep in the tank is hurting your progress. And i feel sooo much better recovered faster after a workout.

I wish football fans would stop conflating possession with attack. Retaining possession is the most defensive thing you can do in football, it makes it impossible for the opposition to score. It's how you use the ball that determines whether you playing in an attacking or defensive manner.

If you are sitting deeper to draw the opposition team higher up the pitch, then winning the ball in your own half and moving it forward quickly and taking advantage of the space you've created in the opposition's half then that's an attacking style of play. Counter-attacking football is still attacking football.

Conversely, if you play like South Korea in the recent World Cup and want to have the ball but then move it slowly and cautiously to avoid losing it, rather than quickly to create opportunities, you are playing defensive football.

Back to my own opinion. Counterattacking teams play way more exciting football. Every time they get the ball its a clear and fast attempt to attack. Possession based teams is just endless recycling of the ball in hopes of the opposition and the viewer falls asleep.

Yildiz is out for 3 months needing surgery, first game of the season. I seriously lost count how many times they aimed for his legs aggressively kicking him. Half the time, there was not even a foul. Zero cards given for butchering him for 90 minutes. Yellow cards for giving for pulling shirts lol.

I honestly refuse to do a ”Juventus vs referees post” because its not what its about, this is an issue with lots of other star players over the years in every single team in Serie A getting their legs kicked off. While referees in Serie A blow the whistle during 90 minutes completely ruining the game, more than a Premier League does for a entire season, for small stuff that did no damage and ruined no attack. Just blow the whistle, force the game to stop for no reason or the slightest touch with the tip of the finger

But seriously aiming for injuring those star players seems to be ok, how can you kick someones leg 10-15 times into needing surgery without getting a yellow card? Im genuienly so tired of this shit refereeing

While im a Juventus fan, im also a die hard Calcio fan. I want the league to prosper. I dont want Dybala, Lautaro, Leao, Paz or De Bruyne injured every god damn season. This is also the case with these players, not just Yildiz.

And the funny part its the lower table teams that are worst at this. Seriously, kicking your way into staying in Serie A by injuring the few star players that carry the league is so horrible

Träffade min vän vid kl 16:00 i lördags. Jag förväntades underhålla ungen (5 år gammal) medans dom lagade mat till 17:00, sen vid matbordet skulle de själva underhålla ungen till 18:00 och sen skulle jag göra det igen tills de städade undan köket till 19:00.. Sen skulle dom natta ungen i en timma. Klockan var nu 20:00 när man satte sig för att prata som normala människor och givetvis är han då redan trött vid 21. Det här var ju jättetrevligt, känner mig mer som en obetald barnvakt än en vän till pappan. Det här verkar vara ett vanligt beteende bland alla mina vänner som har barn, jag förstår inte riktigt hur de resonerar kring att bjuda över en vän för att umgås men allting handlar om att underhålla deras barn?

Har inga barn, men minns att som liten fick man vänta på att prata när man störde föräldrarna, typ "vänta lite, mamma pratar med Lisa nu". Idag så bryter föräldrar konversationen direkt ungen vill nåt, så det går inte att hålla ett samtal med dom, vare sig det är för att ungen ska säga nåt, eller för att den ska visa en leksak, eller bara ha uppmärksamhet. Blir fan helt utmattad av att försöka umgås med föräldrar. Dessutom lite respektlöst. Tror heller inte det är bra att få lära sig att man är världens medelpunkt och att ens egen vilja och behov alltid går först, tror att ibland är det bra att få lära sig att vänta på andra, att samsa

När jag var liten fick man pennor och papper och var SVINNÖJD när man fick en festis och rita ifred hemma hos morsans polare Marianne. Fanns det andra barn eller TV-spel var det fucking jackpot. Var fett skumt om morsans kompisar skulle "leka" med en.  Nu verkar det vara helt normaliserat att allt ska kretsa runt närvarande barn. 

Tbh bidragande orsak till att jag inte är säker på att kids är för oss, och då är vi fucking target audience för allt gnäll om att folk som "borde" inte skaffar barn. Dinks, radhus, karriär, bil, kontaktnät. 

Men jag orkar inte bli en sån pissejobbig förälder som släpar med Tindra-Liam och kräver att hen är centrum i allas liv och alla events. 

35 år idag och mina minnen som barn är en far som konstant tittade fotboll/basket. Låg i soffan och degade medans jag låg i hans famn. Älskade att sitta där som barn och bara titta på det med. Pappa hade inte många hobbys, han gillade att fiska bland annat, jag älskade att följa med honom. Utöver att följa med pappa kommer jag ihåg, och utifrån de foton/VHS band som finns, då och då kolla på ett fåtal tecknade filmer som Batman/Lejonkungen. Men det är verkligen en minoritet av minnena/bildbevisen som finns jämfört med att följa med pappa på vad han gör. När föräldrarna hade gäster lekte barnen för sig själva medans föräldrarna drack kaffe.

Jag har inga barn men alla jag känner som är småbarnsföräldrar känns så sjukt annorlunda. Det ska underhållas ungar 24/7. Det turas om att mellan barnmusik, det ska va ipad, de ska sjungas, det ska bara vara barnprogram på tv, vi ska prata bebispråk i timmar, vi ska spela 15 olika barnspel på 2 minuter var, någon ny aktivitet varje dag, vi ska bara leka med barnen tills de har somnat sen kan vi prata normalt, när gäster (jag) kommer över är det bara för att underhålla barnen tills de somnat sen kan mina vänner umgås med mig. Det känns fruktansvärt jobbigt att vara en förälder idag, inte pga barnet, utan pga föräldrars beteende. Jag upplevde mina föräldrar som helt normala då, men jämfört med idag som fruktansvärt avslappnade. Det kändes mer chill där jag följde med han på hans dag där vi vissa stunder kasta boll/kollade någon barnfilm kontra föräldrar jag ser idag som låter hela ens existens slukas av att nonstop underhålla ett barn i 40 olika former.

Någon annan som tycker samma? Är man en en dålig förälder idag om jag blir som min pappa var? Jag planerar barn men kan helt ärligt inte tänka mig leva ett sådant liv som andra föräldrar idag

Why do people on this sub feel the need to belittle someones knowledge of old football players with a ”your probably just a kid” almost every single time to make them ”lose the argument because ho ho im older than you probably”. Why on earth would i talk about Angelo Di Livio if i was a kid!? Why do they feel the need to be hopefully the older one? Have you absolutely no hesitation before you judge someone you dont even know?

I have a real hard time breaking that down being so stacked everywhere. They have two guys on the flanks, and two dms closing down the middle against my two AMs

Their wide players are tracking wide midfielders with holding fullbacks closing down the halfspaces

I just dont see a damn way to break it down. Flanks are doubled down, space between the lines closed, and no halfspaces

Socialdemokraterna har ett tag nu vandrat höger i politiken. De vill sänka skatt på arbete, strama åt invandringen, satsa på kärnkraft, införa språkkrav osv. Det låter allt mer som ett tidö parti. De har nästan ingenting gemensamt med varken V eller MP längre och snarare dras ner utav de med hur påtvingade de blir utav deras politik. De skär sig otroligt mycket i de allra viktigaste frågorna för respektive parti.

Vad tror ni om socialdemokraternas framtid, kommer de dumpa V och MP för att försöka få till ett nytt mittenblock med till exempel C och KD? Kanske självaste moderaterna som själva vandrat vänsterut jämfört med många år tidigare?
