Is it just me or does the maps feel small even on Giant?

From Heroes 3 Giant maps felt truly giant taking me days to finish taking over from corner to corner ingame like 9 months. In olden era, giant maps feel like an L map on heroes 3 taking 3 months to cover corner to corner

How do i have the longest game possible with the biggest battles as possible?

Playing Octojebus and the system with the roads feels like the game flyes by in 3 months and AI has army spread out across 5 heroes. Not only do i take them fast, i also take them easy

One thing i miss about heroes 3 is a map taking 8+ months and AI having a huge army when we finally meet for a decisive battle

Does -50% terrain penalty stack?

Schism has a unit giving -50% terrain penalty, and logistics has a subclass that gives -50% aswell. Dors that make it 100% or dont they stack?

Holy crap Schism tier 3 unit removes all terrain penalties, thats insane

Man thats like having the pathfinding skill in heroes 3 or casting fly every round, or finding the boots that remove 100% terrain penalties. From day 1. It increases your movement like crazy, couple that with the logistics hero and you got endgame movement from day 1

Gold, astrology or law points?

The building that lets you generate more of them. Which one do you think is best? Im leaning towards a mixture of astrology and law points

Good players of this game, can you explain one thing to me about logistics?

I always hear that a main hero should stay on the main roads, that the movement penalty is too harsh and that secondary heroes should take over external dwellings and so on

I always pick logistics and the rough terrain sub that removes 50% of the penalty to be able to explore the entire map with my main from corner to corner. There are so many buildings thats giving +1 attack or defence, spell power, knowledge or all four of them. They are never ever just a tile away from the main road

Last game i played Ister the logistics specialist and ended up with every stat between 50-80 because of my playstyle on a giant map. I just cant imagine a game where i just go from town to town, he would have been 10 in each stat and so so weak by the time i get to the last enemy. He was a monster with those stats and the enermy hero was not close.

Like, how does a playstyle like that workout? How does your hero get any stats other than the few leveling up? Does your hero not get too weak endgame? What am i missing or how am i thinking wrong?

WHY IS NECROMANCY NOT WORKING??

I have necromany toggled on the green skull, i have tier 1 units, im fighting tier 1 units, NOTHING IS HAPPENING. There is no number above my hero like others said they have for how many units will be resurrected

How does necromancy work?

Ive tried to understand it but man i feel so slow. I dont get any troops from killing enemies like heroes 3

Played 4 weeks in game.

Everyone talks about how OP Twillight is until Temple shows up

3 really strong shooters + Purity aura, nothing twillight can do when you put your Archers next to Apotheosis

No OP abuse/cheese tactics in this game?

Heroes 3 had blind + resurrect, magic mirror + archer and finally mass-berserk. I have not managed to find anything like it here where 1 unit can solo an army?

Archers with Living arrows artifact set is insane

Its honestly making an archer army better than a melee one

+ 10% archery

+ no range penalty

+ 1 initiative

+ all ranged creatures gain double shot

Holy mother of.. they go faster, they dont have a ranged penalty AND double shots = double the damage

Played a game with Temple when i got it. Ended up splitting my Archangels in two stacks, Sun Herald in two and the Marksmen also in two stacks. Because of the double shot on all of them, i lost no damage in a single stack lol

6 powerstacks of Archers and the tankiest nastiest unit ive seen (Mother Superior) with taunt spell on waiting in the front for anyone who managed to stay alive lol

Did not even bother to buy Cavalry or Griffins after i got it.

Olden Era finally brought some love to Archers and i love it.
