World Cup 2026: BBC launches 'Stay Up or Catch Up' offer for England v Mexico
‘…full no-spoiler re-run of the game on BBC Two from 07:10 BST, while a full re-run of the match will be available on demand from 06:00 BST on BBC iPlayer.’
Gonna hide my phone and do the 7:10am one.
For everyone having issues with the app, use the desktop version on your phone.
Seen multiple people saying they don’t have a PC/Laptop around, seemingly forgetting you can get on the desktop version from your phone…
The photographers during the national anthem
I’d only seen the video of Tuchel complaining, which didn’t show this angle showing how insane the photographers were last night.

Spoiler-Free World Cup Highlights
Hi, I posted previously a version of this for BBC Sport that they published themselves, but they don’t seem to understand what a spoiler is (no scoreline but the thumbnail gave a lot away).
Anyway, user FPLSportScience on Twitter/X has made a much better version so I’ve removed my previous post and will link to theirs instead, hope people find useful!
Spoiler-Free Highlights on BBC iPlayer
Posting as I‘d been trying to find something similar for the overnight matches so thought others will find it useful.
Billionaire West Ham co-owner David Sullivan accused of preying on women for sex

Best Celeb XI
After Soccer Aid tonight (which I’ve watched most editions) I thought I’d try and make a best XI of just the celebs when all were at their peak and I don’t think it looks too bad. 4-4-2 obviously…
Chris O’Dowd; Nicky Byrne, Angryginge, Ben Shepherd, Mark Wright; Tom Grennan, Olly Murs, Jonathan Wilkes, Ralf Little; Serge Pizzorno, Kem Cetinay.
Subs:
Leon "Locksmith" Rolle (had a couple of good games at CB from memory)
Steven Bartlett and Jeremy Lynch (both good goalscorers)
Jamie Theakston and Patrick Kielty (both good goalkeepers - I can’t chose between so lets have both, even if the fans will be on my back)
Bradley Walsh and Gordon Ramsey (both had youth careers - probably didn’t see them at their best at Soccer Aid)
Am I missing anyone (especially any that haven’t played at a Soccer Aid so I may not be aware of)?

GOAL! England 1-0 World XI
We have the opener! Actor Damson Idris finds the net with an excellent finish and drops like a fish in celebration. He looks offside, to me, but he flicks the finish with the outside of his boot to beat Edwin van der Sar.
Cristian Romero is back in London ahead of Tottenham's final match against Everton. He originally tried to continue his recovery in Argentina and watch Belgrano's game on Sunday, but this decision was not well received at the club so he quickly returned to England to support his teammates.
