Hi, I posted previously a version of this for BBC Sport that they published themselves, but they don’t seem to understand what a spoiler is (no scoreline but the thumbnail gave a lot away).

Anyway, user FPLSportScience on Twitter/X has made a much better version so I’ve removed my previous post and will link to theirs instead, hope people find useful!

Posting as I‘d been trying to find something similar for the overnight matches so thought others will find it useful.

After Soccer Aid tonight (which I’ve watched most editions) I thought I’d try and make a best XI of just the celebs when all were at their peak and I don’t think it looks too bad. 4-4-2 obviously…

We have the opener! Actor Damson Idris finds the net with an excellent finish and drops like a fish in celebration. He looks offside, to me, but he flicks the finish with the outside of his boot to beat Edwin van der Sar.
