Today I did something brave (very small)
So, today I was out with mum, there were many people there. And yes I got very overstimulated and irritated instantly. My mother kept speaking to me. Now that I have understood why it happens, I gently told my mother that I’m very overstimulated right now and could she please not speak to me. She immediately stopped. I’m proud of myself for being able to understand myself better and handle it calmly. Also thanks to mother for understanding. Felt like a small win. Because all my life I have been criticised for being grumpy whenever we went out.
