Which pair would you trust most to make the right decision when things go wrong?

Some pairs just seem to handle setbacks better than others. Even when a plan goes completely wrong, they manage to stay calm, talk it through and move on without making things worse. That kind of teamwork probably matters more than having the perfect route or knowing exactly what to do every time.

Do you prefer the episodes where everything goes smoothly or when a team completely falls apart?

I feel bad when they’re clearly having a nightmare of a day, but those episodes are usually the ones that keep me watching. When everything goes wrong, you get to see how the pairs actually handle pressure, and it can completely change how you see them. The calm moments are nice, but a bit of chaos definitely makes the show more entertaining.

What’s a Strictly dance you remember more for the moment than the dancing?

Some routines just stick with you, even if they weren’t technically the best dance of the series. It could be the music, the reaction in the room, something unexpected happening, or just the feeling of watching it live. Those are usually the dances I remember years later more than the ones with the big scores.

Do you think the best contestants are the ones who take more risks?

The safer decisions make sense, but some of the biggest moments come when a pair decides to take a chance and go for it. It can either put them miles ahead or completely backfire, which is what makes those decisions so fun to watch.

When putting the dishes in the sink somehow counts as helping with the washing up 😂

Which British TV show would be funniest to parody on SNL UK?

I feel like the best parody would be a show everyone knows well enough to recognise the little details straight away. The more seriously they play it at first, the funnier the sketch could be when it starts going completely off the rails.

Would you interview someone again after they turned down the job once?

We had someone turn down an offer because they weren't happy with the salary, then come back a few months later when another role opened up. The hiring manager was happy to consider them again, but it felt a bit strange knowing we'd already been through the whole process once. It got me thinking about how much weight you should actually put on someone declining an offer the first time.

Which contestant would you actually want as your travel partner?

Not even thinking about who you like most on the show, just who you reckon you could genuinely travel with for weeks without getting sick of each other. Someone calm when things go wrong would probably be a huge plus, because I'd definitely be the one stressing when we miss a bus.

Have you ever left a West End show still thinking about one scene?

Some scenes just stay with you after the show, even when you’ve forgotten most of the other bits. Could be a song, an actor’s performance, or just a small moment that caught you off guard and stuck in your head on the way home.

Which SNL UK sketch would you show someone who hasn’t watched it?

I’m trying to get a friend into SNL UK and need to pick one sketch that actually shows what the show is like. There are a few good ones, but I can’t decide which would make the best first impression.

Can an employer change your contract without you agreeing?

My employer wants to make a change to my contract and has said it will be going ahead even though I haven’t agreed to it. It’s not a huge change, but it does affect my role and I’m unsure whether I’m expected to just accept it or formally push back.

Which player do you always expect to surprise everyone at Wimbledon?

Every Wimbledon seems to produce at least one unexpected standout. It isn't always a top seed, sometimes it's a player whose game naturally clicks on grass and suddenly puts together the best run of their season. There are always a few names I quietly keep an eye on because they seem to find another level once Wimbledon begins, regardless of their ranking or recent form. Those surprise runs often end up being some of the most memorable stories of the tournament. Share the player you always back to exceed expectations and what makes them so dangerous on grass.

Who's the Made in Chelsea villain you secretly think was right?

I used to think they were one of the worst people on the show, but after rewatching a few seasons, I actually found myself seeing things from their side. Knowing what happens later really changes how some of those storylines come across. It's funny how your opinion of certain cast members can completely change over time. Some people who were made out to be the villain don't seem nearly as bad years later, while others come across much worse on a second watch. Would love to hear which cast member everyone else has changed their mind about after a rewatch.
