I have pin straight hair with balayage. I’ve noticed that recently the roots of my have been insanely tangled. I brushed it a million times and used de tangler but it just ends up tangled again. What’s wrong with my hair? It’s really annoying me.

I have about 4 inches of growth out of my balayage and just wanted to get my roots done. My hairstylist who did my balayage is charging $500 which is the same price as what she charged me to get the full balayage in the first place. I’m just wondering if that’s normal?
