Fall might be one of the best times for a golf trip in the US. Cooler weather, great course conditions, and some pretty amazing scenery depending on where you go.

September feels like a great month for a golf trip. Summer crowds start to ease up, the weather is still good in a lot of places and some courses are probably better to play than they are in peak summer.
