So for context I recently heard the shanty "Bully in the alley" in it the chorus goes "Help me Bob, I'm bully in the alley wey hey bully in the alley X2 in the alley of Shangri-la" my question is is there any significance to who Bob is or is it just needed a one syllable name? I know the song is literally about being drunk and your mates leaving you passed out in the alleyway but I was wondering "Who the heck is Bob? " Both joke answers and real ones accepted.

So again this is just IMO but I feel like Zelda and link are officially a couple in the very least the BOTW/TOTK timeline. Note I predict that BOTW is going to be a whole new "official timeline" and that OOT remake and future games are going to be based off this timeline and story with the other games being legends similar to what Star wars did then un did. IMO I think it would be cute on the next game to see them as an official couple and maybe even marry and have a child. I could see during the game Zelda becomes pregnant and Link feels he needs to protect her even more because of the child and heir to Hyrule. IMO if have it be twins a boy and a girl with one inheriting the throne and the other inheriting the power of the goddess (I think it's canonical that this is female exclusive. Correct me if I'm wrong) I could see Zelda still being the official queen but Link refusing the king title because he feels his duty is to Zelda and he shouldn't be on equal terms with the power of the goddess wielder

It's currently 4:20 am and my game still hasn't switched to morning. From what I researched Polished Crystal is based off gen 2 times which says morning starts at 4 . For context and pure Transparency I AM A Christian so will be coming from that POV. I'm listening to the new album Sanctuary and I noticed some clear religious themes here. Now To be clear I'm not saying Amy Lee is or isn't a Christian from what I've heard she does consider herself one but the band "Evanescence" is not spiritual etc. however I want to highlight a few songs if I may. 1 rapture. Here it seems as Amy or the writer of the song (which is Amy apparently with others) comes to realize a faith or something close to a religious experience. This is IMO brilliantly contrasted with "afterlife" and "about us" where Amy seems to reflect on Christians abusing their power and not following what the teachings are. Then this is again contrasted with "how do I heal " (Note these songs aren't listed in album order) where it's almost a prayer asking God "how do I heal?" From the religious abuse she's had. I know she was brought up in a Protestant (I believe?) household however I haven't heard any specifics if her father (in About us there's the Line "Daddy's got a gun" so maybe?) or parents were abusive to her. However I do know that Christian circles weren't kind to her regarding the "Fallen" controversy. So maybe it's a reflection of that? Thoughts?

So as a Christian who is rather annoyed at the gay community for saying "You hate me based on ur religion" for disagreeing with gay marriage but they often leave out the fact Muslims and Orthodox Jews (from what I've asked Non Orthodox Jews and new age Jews don't believe in the Torah and ergo are fine with gay marriage) also don't believe in gay marriage but because Muslims are a minority in the west and immigrants they don't mention that. What is the actual Muslim Qur'an teaching? Please give me what the text actually says about this and not "I'm a Muslim living in Canada or USA and must be nice"/I'm not touching that with forty foot Pole which Is the typical answer I get when asking.

I'm thinking about doing a firered Nuzlocke but I have a question. Is it against the rules to use a second route Pokemon once your original Pokemon in said route dies. example let's say in Viridian Forest I catch a Caterpie then to help my numbers for the pokedex (mainly I want to catch 50 due to expshare requirement) I catch a Weedle am I allowed to use said Weedle once Caterpie dies. I would have notes on og caught (doing this on phone so using phone note app) etc to keep track etc. is this allowed or do I have to just get "lucky" and catch Weedle elsewhere which is tech possible but rare.

So this is something I've wondered. When I was a kid my family was a foster family meaning we always had little kids (toddlers) around. This also means we also always had Gerber cookies for the toddler to snack on. However my Mom wouldnt let any (ie me who really liked them) of the older kids have them saying "They're for babies". Is this true? Or am I allowed to buy them despite not having kids?

So this is something I've always wondered about. The og version of this prayer was "Now I lay me down to sleep i pray the Lord my soul to keep . Now besides the obvious WTH of telling your kids to pray this (so many kids must've been scared by this) it makes sense in the 1800s sense. A lot of children at the time would get sick suddenly hence "not waking up and dying" but I feel nowadays it's a bit outdated. However I can see how this would comfort a child with say terminal cancer etc. What's the version you guys grew up with?

So something I've always remember hearing from my folks (a pastor in my dad and a small time gospel singer for my mom) is we shouldn't read mythology such as Greek mythology or Norse mythology etc as it's the sin of idolatry. to be clear in no way do I believe in these "gods" but I really enjoy the stories behind them and I believe they make good bedtime stories (some 😜😜 avoid Zeus and his u know what) . However is this a sin? The only mythology I don't read is the Indian Hindu ones as to me it crosses a lone when it's stuff 70 percent of India believes. Yes I know people legit believe in Greek mythology etc but it's a lot smaller.

Hi everyone. A little while ago I saw a post here about bedding stores on Kingston. My question is do any of these stores do video game franchises bedding? For example Legend of Zelda or Pokemon bedding. Needs to be adult size not looking for child size. Before you say Amazon or Etsy or Walmart I've looked at all 3 and Amazon doesn't have anything Walmart doesn't have any as twice I've ordered only to be told the seller is invalid so they can't get my items. As for Etsy I've looked at Etsy Canada and nothing. Any help would be appreciated but please don't troll me for wanting "cartoon bedding for kids" rather than Boring adult bedding.
