Mental health isnt a free pass for poor behaviour

Mental health is super important to acknowledge and i get that. However when has it become such a shield for bad behavior? Its become so normalized and its driving me nuts!

Someone set a meeting up and everyone agreed. We all show up and they come an hour late. Everyone made time to be there and they claimed it was their time blindness. The thing is, its all the time and for everything. Okay fine, but disrespecting my time is not cool. Then called abelist when I called them on it.

Another situation was being bullied online by a grown woman and when called out they claimed mental health when the heat was too much and all of a sudden all is forgiven!

I am tired. Accountability is dead in the water for real.

A lesbian couple chose god and lost their marriage in the process

I've known many lesbian Christians in my time. Usually they are sweet and keep their beliefs in their own little bubble, which is greatly appreciated. However, I *just* saw the most...lesbophobic disgusting video of a lesbian couple who are claiming *obedience* over feelings...what the shit? I'm so appalled that they posted something like that. (I mean I can believe it but I don't like it ok)

Has anyone come across weird videos like this before?

Anyone else tired of split tribal councils?

I'd personally prefer after the merge, everyone go to tribal together. What is with it? Come on. I know its survivor 50, higher stakes. It becomes annoying.

I interviewed at 2 schools for the fall. I cold emailed many places in the area im moving to introducing myself, and 1 school gave me an offer! I will miss my current school, however I'm hoping this new Montessori school allows me space to grow and evolve with them. My new shift isn't ideal, though I expect to start at the bottom and work my way into what i'd like in the future. I also embraced the 30 hour work week instead of full time, simply to put my foot in the door. I also have a 2 week winter break, 1 week march break and i'll have 1 month off in the summer if I choose, with PD days and other holidays in the mix. Most Montessori schools run on a 10 month schedule. Im extremely grateful for this, as it will help me avoid burn out and do more self care.

Anyways, im very happy ❤️
