CNS Armada

Class: Armada-class
Launched: 1945
Role: Superheavy battleship

Displacement: 240 000 t
Length: 376 m
Beam: 40 m
Height: 60 m

Armament: 12x 457mm main guns, 36x 203mm secondary guns, 21x 127mm dual-purpose guns, 17x 40mm AA guns, 20x 533mm torpedo tubes

The Armada was the lead ship of what was supposed to be the future of naval power, the most formidable ship of the world, but came too late to meaningfully affect the war. It was also very expensive to operate and required a much larger port than other battleships. It saw only brief action and was scrapped shortly after the war ended. The project was seen by many at the time as absurd, but was eventually greenlit after the war grew more desperate.

CNS Valiant

The Valiant-class was commissioned to win the war at sea, but launched too late to participate. It did gain some success in exercises and smaller conflicts, but was ultimately deemed too slow and antiquated and was scrapped in 1962. Only one was ever built.

Am I the only one who actually likes the event?

I like the action and chaos. It feels more casual and fast-paced than quick match. But it seems like everyone else on this sub hates it. Why does everyone dislike it?
