I wish our species could be less competitive
Imagine a society where you can live a good life, enjoy the company of good people, without having to prove yourself in any way
Why should we try to be THE best at anything? Why not just be OUR best? Why not appreciate EVERYONE's abilities, at every level?
I just wish we could not compare ourselves and each other to others. I wish we could do things for the love of the craft, not for the sake of ranking them
Instead of treating approval like it's some kind of finite resource, why not give opportunities to all people, and let them go to higher-skilled professions once they've simply leveled up?
I'm tired of everything being a race, where you have to function just like everybody else and throw all of your hats into the same ring
Is this why we built roads, constructed libraries, and established educational systems? So we could just go back to being wild animals, eating smaller fish just to grow?
I don't get it, it's so backwards. Why should my success be determined by whose lives get the short end? Why should my failure be necessary for someone else to succeed?
Everyone at all levels of anything should have a proper place to thrive, not just the best of the best
From what I've seen, all you get is cheaters being rewarded by flaws in the system. Ruthlessness becomes rule, crimes become law, and virtue becomes crime
In an ideal society, competition isn't the way of life. Competition is just a pastime, a way of recreational fun. After the game ends, the sport concludes, then we should all get back to being on the same team, the human team
