How often do you accept friend requests from other Splatoon 3 players?

Title. I get a few requests from other players every now and then, but I’ve never really accepted any of them. I was just curious to hear if anyone else ever accepts these kinds of requests.

Is anyone else hoping for an animated Kenshiro trailer like what we got for some of the other DLC characters?

We got some animated promotional material that teased characters like Krauser and Mr. Karate before their release, just like we got for Kenshiro, and then, shortly after those characters dropped, we were treated to animated shorts that primarily focused on them, and even featured footage from those teasers. I think a short like that featuring Kenshiro would be pretty neat, considering how badass his animated teasers were, and it would be nice to see the whole story of what happened in them, but almost a week after Kenshiro's release, we haven't gotten anything of the sort. You think there's still hope for something like that? I'd like to think there is, because an animated Kenshiro trailer is too good to let go to waste.

Do you think Death is the one who started the trend of the boss before the final boss in some video games being harder than the final boss?

This is just something I've been wondering for a while now, since Death is said to be a harder boss than Dracula in the first game. And based on what I've watched, there must be some truth to that.

Here are some pics of some of the delicious foods I ate when I went on my cruise on the Grandeur of the Seas last year.

I meant to share these the day after my one year anniversary of the cruise, but I forgot all about it. Oh well, here they are now.

I have a theory about the Crest Items

You know how you can obtain those dragon signs in New Game + that can give units the abilities of certain crests? I know they're more of a gameplay mechanic, but for a while, I've had a theory for what they are and why they exist. And after completing my latest playthrough of Three Houses, I decided that it's time I shared it with everyone.

So, it's been established that crests were distributed across Fódlan as a result of Nemesis and the Ten Elites (plus Maurice) killing the children of the Goddess and using their blood to empower them, as well as benevolent Nabateans such as Seiros and the Four Saints sharing their blood with humans who helped them fight against Nemesis and his forces. But what if there was another, less messy way that the Nabateans used to lend their power to humans should the need ever arise?

A long time ago, there were these stones that were capable of housing great power, and if held by someone, that individual would have full access to the power that was put inside it. By holding on to one of these stones and speaking an incantation in a language that has long since been lost to history, the Nabateans could transfer some of their power to them, and that power would be at the disposal of whoever wielded the stone. However, this does not stop at the children of the Goddess. Humans who bare crests may also possess the ability to transfer the power of their crest to one of these stones just as the Nabateans they originally came from did, but it would likely come at the cost of them losing their crest. This is how I believe Edelgard and Lysithea could have been able to rid themselves of their dual crests in some of their endings where that was confirmed to have happened.

And that's pretty much it. My theory for what's meant to be a nice perk you get when playing New Game + in Three Houses. Feel free to let me know what you think of it in the comments.

What kind of snacks does everyone keep in their lockers?

Here’s a pic of my snack shelf so everyone knows what I keep in mine.

Today’s the one year anniversary of me and my family’s very first Royal Caribbean cruise. Here are some pics I took while I was on it.

I would have included pics of some of the delicious foods I had while I was on the ship, but Reddit’s 20 photo limit made that infeasible. Maybe I’ll make a separate post about that.

Why do Big Run stages sometimes show up in the normal rotation when they’re supposed to be under attack by the Salmonoids?

This has become pretty common with Big Runs nowadays. The Salmonoids try to invade a certain battle stage, yet it still sometimes pops up on the rotation for Turf War or Ranked Battles. And what makes it crazier is that when we fight on that stage, there aren’t any signs of there ever having been Salmonoids attacking it. Heck, there wasn’t even a hole in Barnacle & Dime’s roof when I took a break to go fight Rainmaker Battles there with my team earlier, and I had just finished a shift that took place on that very stage before I met up with them. This begs the question that I’ve been asking myself for a long time: how is any of this even possible?

Since the Mini Splatling seems to be the only Splatling available in Splatoon Raiders at the moment, I thought I'd prepare myself by playing a weapon in that family in Splatoon 3. Which of the three versions of it that are in the game would you all recommend?

If Robots in Disguise 2015 had featured a core group of Decepticons as the villains rather than using the monster of the week formula, which Decepticons would you have wanted to see as a part of it?

These are my picks, BTW.

Hot Take: The DS version of Mushroom Bridge isn’t bad.

I mean, sure, it’s missing a few shortcuts and other things the original course had, but it’s still a very fun track to drive on. Like, if you’re looking for the thrill of racing on a busy street while trying to avoid traffic, this is the right course to do it on. Besides, at least they didn’t butcher it as badly as they did Baby Park.

Found a Gordo’s cheese dip in one of the refrigerators. It must have been in there for a long time, because that thing was rock solid when I took it out.

I don’t know if it was just tossed in there by someone who changed their mind about buying it or put in there as a joke by someone, but it was a very surprising discovery indeed.

How good is Wallace if you skip Lyn Mode?

Usually when I play Blazing Sword, I go out of my way to get Linus's version of Four-Fanged Offense so that I can recruit Geitz into my army. But lately I've been thinking that if I decide to start another playthrough any time soon, I might mix it up a bit and play Lloyd's version of the chapter so I can recruit Wallace. However, I've heard that Wallace is considered to be one of, if not the worst, units in the game. I find these opinions to be very concerning, as I always try to use my choices for the Arran and Samson units in Blazing Sword as much as I can, and I even deploy them in the final chapter. However, I believe that most of these opinions for Wallace regard if you play Lyn Mode beforehand, and in my more recent playthroughs, I've elected to skip Lyn Mode. So, that brings me to the question I asked in the title of the post: if you skip Lyn Mode, does Wallace end up being any good? I figured this might be nice to know so I'll know whether or not I need to hold back on training my lords if I start a new playthrough.

Are the ROM hacks/fan translations of games on Vimm’s safe?

I thought maybe I’d download a translated Fire Emblem game or two to emulate, but since these aren’t officially released games, I’m not sure how safe they are to download. Has anyone experienced any trouble or gotten viruses from downloading any games of this nature? I just thought this would be nice to know before I did anything.

Is anyone else hoping that Double Dash gets added to NSO this month?

Come the 5th, Mario Kart World will be a year old. That sounds to me like the right amount of time to wait before adding this classic to the GameCube collection.

Since updates to World Tour are coming to an end, I thought I’d get some pictures of my avatar with some of the masters who helped make this such a fun game mode.

If it weren’t for Reddit’s photo upload limit, I would have posted pictures of me with all the avatars in World Tour. But I can’t, so I went for my top 20 (in no particular order) instead.

What would be a good way for N and V to reconcile their feelings for one another?

Debatably hot take incoming: I don't like Uzi x N. I mean, sure, they have a nice relationship with one another, but I feel like it works better as a brother/sister type relationship. The whole idea of them becoming a couple just felt kind of forced to me. Now, N x V, on the other hand, those two had better romantic potential. In the pilot, it was pretty obvious that N had feelings for V, and in some of the other early episodes, it was apparent that V cared more about N than she was letting on. And on top of that, the second episode strongly implied that at some point in the past, their feelings for one another were mutual, with some of their interactions in episode five supporting this. It would have been great to see those two become an official couple after all their struggles over the course of the series, but sadly, it seems that was never meant to be.

Since I can't see Liam and Glitch going back on Uzi x N any time soon, I decided there's only one thing a fan like me can do about this. Come up with my own personal canon that at some point, Uzi and N's relationship ended, and he ended up reconciling his feelings with V, with the two of them became an item. The only trouble is: I'm having a hard time coming up with a feasible way something like that could happen. So, I thought it might help if I reached out to my fellow Murder Drones fans about this matter, especially the ones who ship N x V (however many of us there are left). How do you think something like this would play out in a way that actually makes sense? I can't wait to hear what kind of scenarios you all cook up.

Will my phone be okay if I download a few ROMs from Vimm’s lair?

Title. I recently downloaded Manic EMU on my iPhone 16 so I can start getting more into emulation and heard that Vimm’s Lair is a mostly safe source to get ROMs from, but I still can’t help but feel weary about doing so. So, I figured I’d come here and ask for the insight of gamers who have downloaded ROMs from there.

Which characters were most commonly packed as Wooden Railway toys with DVDs?

I remember when I was a kid collecting Thomas & Friends DVDs, I'd sometimes get a DVD that had a Wooden Railway toy bundled with it, with examples of such DVDs being the ones pictured in this very post. And recently, I began to wonder which characters were bundled with DVDs the most. This might sound like a random question, but it's one that's left me thinking. Lots of Wooden Railway toys were included with DVDs, but which ones were the most common to find bundled together with one? Feel free to comment if you think you know the answer.
