Township Grocery Question

How would you compare and contrast the various store options in the Lancaster/ Lititz area? I am a monthly Costco haul shopper for my family of five, but looking for my go to weekly spot. A quick run into Giant showed me that aside from the go to ginger ale 12 pack, that spot ain't it ;) Aldi is a miss for me as well. I am new to Stauffers and Wegmans, for reference. Would love all suggestions for how you structure your food shopping in the area. Not a big 'out to eat' family, we mainly eat at home and prioritize health. Whole Foods is great for some things but it's a big miss for weekly grocery shopping in my opinion, both in terms of options and pricing. Thank you!

Labor Day Weekend (I am so glad I found this group!)

My family is relocating to the area and would love to spend Labor Day weekend in Havre De Grace. I am hoping someone may have a suggestion on a place to stay for a few nights with our kids, and potentially a lead on a spot we could rent a boat and take it out of the bay for a day or two. I know it's last minute but really hoping we can pull this off. We've had a rough year and this transition is tough for our kids. Budget is flexible. Open to either airbnb style, Inn, hotel etc... For a boat, something center console would fit the bill. Any suggestions you have are so appreciated! Thank you!

Chopin vs Belvedere

Odd observation but while I LOVE the taste of Chopin, it seems to wreck my stomach. Belvedere, fine. Anyone know why this would be the case? I do also enjoy Belvedere but sadly the price is very high where I live. Other suggestions for a sensitive gut friendly bottle? I was considering Reyka but not sure where it stacks up quality wise!

Lancaster County PA

Hi! Making a move from New England to Lititz PA next month. I’m a regular early morning OTF gal. Looking for insight or feedback on studios (just Lancaster option?) coaches and classes from all the locals. I’ll likely be at the 5 or 6 AM time most days… Thanks all!

Manheim Township "Area" Question. Locals, Any Advice?

Looking to live here w/ my children to begin a new chapter of our life and attend school. They are in elementary school and high school. For locals, would you guide me towards or against an area such as Bent Creek, Lititz? Torn between this area or the Meadow Ln area of Lancaster? Pros and cons? Would love some privacy but also a sense of community that feels down to earth. Proximity to a commute to Harrisburg is key. Budget just above 1 million, but under 1.5. Be kind. Thank you!

Casamigos Blanco

I know it gets a bad rep lately, but I really love it. Smooth. Clean. Versatile. What else would you suggest, in this price range, if this is a go to mixer for me? Especially delicious in an espresso martini.

Nighttime Digestion Aid Tea Recommendations?

Looking for a suggestion on a tea to try that I could sip on before bed to unwind and also help “get things moving” if you know what I mean…
TMI so read at your own risk:
I struggle big time with constipation. Looking for something that can help me in the AM with relief but not stimulating like senna or smooth move tea as I don’t want to need to rely on it. I was thinking along the lines of either licorice, and/ or mint? I’d love to buy online or at a local store so perhaps a common brand that also won’t break the bank.

Thank you kindly!

Viral Fridge Cigarette

Has anyone tried with their Nespresso machine? Would love to know if it’s as good as it is said to be, and how they made it. Thank you!

Vertuo Question

Recently sold my Nespresso plus vertuo delonghi machine. Tried Nescafé instant espresso, bottled cold brew etc. nope. Nope. Nope. None of it tastes as good! Now going back. Anyone else agree, nothing tastes as fresh? It all was so.. Keurig or watered down like. I miss that strong true espresso flavor. Would it be smart to get the new Up machine?

Kids iPad Question

Hi! Question. I am looking to upgrade my daughter's current iPad to a newer version, as she has few cracks in hers and her birthday is coming up. I have a screen shot of her current model. I am looking to do this on a budget, as she is 10. What would you suggest I look to buy her? I am fine with something refurbished that works perfectly. Maybe the model she has is good enough, just needs a new one.

Crowdsourcing. BEST Red Wine rec from France?

Looking for a great French rose recommendation. In NH/ MA if that helps. (It shouldn’t say red in the title, woops!)

Recommendation needed!

Heading to Nashua (DW Highway area) tomorrow for a few errands and hoping to sneak in a manicure for my daughter and myself. I am admittedly a bit picky about nail salons. Where would y recommend we go? Bonus if I can book online ahead of time, dip/ powder manicure is what I usually go for.. affordable but clean and good service?! Thank so much!

Chopin > Grey Goose and Belvedere ALL DAY. Thoughts?

I would rank them in this order: Chopin, Belvedere than Grey Goose. Ive tried to enjoy Luksosowa but it misses the mark for me, other than the appealing price. Any other creamy smooth full bodied vodkas to try, if that’s my go to? I also find it’s the potato factor that I tolerate over a wheat or corn based spirit. Is that just a placebo factor?

I enjoy a dark simple espresso martini, dirty blue cheese martini, occasionally a lemonade mineral water spritz. Curious what y’all think!
