One-day Thanjavur trip with family — what places should I not miss?

I’m planning a one-day trip to Thanjavur with my family and we’ll be reaching the city around 6:00 AM.

Since we only have one day, I’d like to make the most of it and cover the must-visit places without rushing unnecessarily.

Could you please suggest:

The must-visit attractions in Thanjavur

Places that are especially worth visiting with family

Any places that can be skipped if we’re short on time

Anything important we should know about opening/closing times or weekly holidays

The Brihadeeswarar Temple is definitely on our list, but I’d love recommendations for the other important places as well.

We’re planning to start sightseeing early and finish as soon as possible, so we can continue our journey afterward.

Thanks in advance! 🙏

Spigen magnetic phone holder for Hyundai i20 — where should I mount it?

I’ve been trying to find a good magnetic phone holder for my Hyundai i20 for quite some time, but haven’t had much luck finding one that works well.

I’ve previously bought a couple of holders that attach to the windshield using a suction/vacuum mount, but they don’t work well with my Samsung S24 Ultra. The available space is limited, and the top of the phone ends up touching the windshield, making it difficult to position the phone properly.

I recently found a Spigen magnetic phone holder (https://amzn.in/d/0arhckN5 ) that attaches directly to the dashboard instead of using a suction mount. I’m considering buying it, but I’d like to hear from anyone who has used it.

A few questions:

How strong and reliable is the dashboard adhesive over time?

Can the holder be removed cleanly later, or is the adhesive more like super glue/Feviquick and likely to damage the dashboard?

Does it leave any residue or marks after removal?

How well does it hold a heavier phone like the S24 Ultra, especially while driving over rough roads?

Most importantly, which of the highlighted locations(A/B/C) in the attached picture would be the best place to mount it on an i20?

I’d really appreciate it if anyone with an i20 and/or experience with this Spigen holder could share their experience before I stick it to the dashboard. Thanks!

Sony WH-CH720N + DAC: Is a wired setup worth it?

I recently bought the Sony WH-CH720N, and so far I’m really impressed with the sound quality and comfort, especially for the price. I’m using them with my MacBook Pro and Samsung S24 Ultra.

I’m considering getting a USB DAC adapter in the ₹1,000–₹2,000 range and using the headphones with my S24 Ultra through a wired connection.

For those who have experience with the WH-CH720N:

Would a DAC provide a noticeable improvement in sound quality compared with Bluetooth?

Is the difference actually worth spending ₹1–2K on, or would I be better off saving the money?

Does the WH-CH720N benefit significantly from a wired connection, considering its internal processing/DSP?

If you have tried a DAC with this model, which one would you recommend?

Also, are there any good-quality skins/wraps specifically made for the WH-CH720N? I’ve seen plenty of wraps for the WH-1000XM series, but none for the CH720N.

I’d appreciate any recommendations or personal experiences before I spend money on a DAC. Thanks!

Old Airtel Dish TV and IPTV connections not removed from app after disconnection

I had an Airtel Dish TV connection earlier, which I later replaced with Airtel IPTV. The installation team took back my old Dish TV setup, including the set-top box and the dish antenna/receiver, at the time of the IPTV installation.

A while later, I disconnected the IPTV connection as well.

However, when I open the Airtel Thanks app, both my old Dish TV connection and the IPTV connection are still listed, and both show "Action Due."

I contacted Airtel customer care, and they told me not to worry, saying the old connections would automatically disappear after a few months. But I'm still a bit concerned.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? Did the old connections eventually get removed on their own, or was there any action you had to take to get them closed properly?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

What opportunities do I have in the UAE with 10 years of IT experience and 4 years in CyberArk? What salary should I expect?

I'm considering moving to the UAE (preferably Dubai) and would like to understand what opportunities are available for someone with my background.

Here's my profile:

10 years of overall IT experience

4 years of hands-on experience in CyberArk Operations & Administration

First 6 years in Desktop Support, IT Helpdesk (L1), Major Incident Management, and Infrastructure Support

Experience with CyberArk administration, onboarding privileged accounts, troubleshooting, platform maintenance, upgrades, monitoring, and day-to-day operational support

Familiar with IAM/PAM environments and enterprise IT operations

Master's degree in Electronics

I have a few questions for those working in the UAE IT/cybersecurity market:

How is the demand for CyberArk/PAM professionals in the UAE right now?

What types of roles would best match my profile?

Does my first 6 years in infrastructure support reduce my chances, or will recruiters mainly focus on my 4 years of CyberArk experience?

What monthly salary (AED) should I realistically expect in Dubai or other UAE cities?

Are there any certifications or skills that would significantly improve my chances of landing a better role?

I'd really appreciate advice from people who are currently working in the UAE or have recently made a similar move. Thanks in advance!

What CTC should I realistically expect with 10 years of IT experience and 4 years in CyberArk (Bangalore)?

I'm trying to understand what my profile is worth in the current Bangalore job market and would appreciate some honest feedback from recruiters, hiring managers, or professionals working in CyberArk/PAM.

Here's my profile:

10 years of overall IT experience

4 years of hands-on experience in CyberArk Operations & Administration

First 6 years in Desktop Support, IT Helpdesk (L1), Major Incident Management, and Infrastructure Support

Experience with day-to-day CyberArk administration, onboarding, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and operational support

Master's degree in Electronics

I'm not asking what companies offer, but rather what CTC someone with my experience and skills should realistically be able to command in today's market in Bangalore.

I'd appreciate insights on:

A fair CTC range for my profile

Whether my first 6 years of non-CyberArk experience significantly affects my market value

What salary range you would negotiate for if you were in my position

Thanks in advance for your advice!

WhatsApp backup stuck on "Preparing storage backup" forever (Samsung S24 Ultra)

My WhatsApp backup has completely stopped working. It gets stuck on "Preparing storage backup" and keeps loading forever without making any progress.

Here's what I've already tried:

Restarted my phone

Changed to a different Google account

Cleared the WhatsApp cache

Confirmed WhatsApp is updated to the latest version

Set Battery Optimization to Unrestricted

Tried backing up on different Wi-Fi networks

I have plenty of Google Drive storage available (5 TB plan)

None of these have helped. The last successful backup was on 21 July, and my current backup size is around 8.6 GB.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Has anyone else faced this issue recently? If so, what fixed it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Where can I find an authentic Mysore Masala Dosa in Trivandrum?

I've been searching for a place in Trivandrum that serves a truly authentic Mysore Masala Dosa, the kind you get in Mysore or Bengaluru.

So far, I've tried Mother's Veg Plaza, Vasanth Bhavan, and a few other popular vegetarian restaurants, but none of them came close. Most of them just serve a regular masala dosa with extra spice, rather than the authentic Karnataka-style Mysore Masala Dosa with the signature red chutney, flavour, and texture.

If you've had one in Trivandrum that genuinely tastes like the ones from Mysore or Bengaluru, I'd really appreciate your recommendations.

Please mention the restaurant name and, if possible, the specific branch. Thanks!

How do I add my shop/home to the WhatsApp location sharing list? (It's already on Google Maps)

I'm trying to figure out how to add a custom location (my shop) to the pre-saved list of places that pops up when you try to share your location on WhatsApp.

My place is already successfully added to Google Maps and is fully searchable there. However, when I open WhatsApp, tap "Share Location," and search for my shop's name, it doesn't show up in the list of nearby places.

Does WhatsApp use a different database for its locations instead of Google Maps?

Has anyone figured out the workaround to get a business or house listed natively in WhatsApp's location search?

Anyone else unable to watch FIFA Club World Cup on Unite8 Sports HD on Airtel DTH?

I'm an Airtel Black customer with a 100 Mbps broadband connection and Airtel DTH service.

I'm trying to watch the FIFA World Cup, but unfortunately I'm unable to access the Unite8 Sports 1 HD and Unite8 Sports 2 HD channels. According to Airtel, these channels are included in my subscription plan, but whenever I try to open them, I get a B001 error. The strange thing is that all other channels are working perfectly fine.

What's even more confusing is that these channels sometimes start working late at night, but remain unavailable during most of the day.

I've already checked my subscription and the channels are active under my plan.

Is anyone else facing the same issue with Airtel DTH, or is this happening only on my connection? If you've experienced this before, were you able to get it resolved?

2022 Hyundai i20 1.2 Petrol – Is E22, E25, E27 or E30 Fuel Safe to Use?

I own a 2022 Hyundai i20 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol (India-spec) and recently noticed that ethanol-blended fuels such as E22, E25, E27 and even E30 are becoming more common.

I'm trying to understand whether these fuel blends are safe for the 2022 i20 1.2 petrol engine in the long term.

A few questions:

Is the 2022 i20 1.2 officially compatible with E20, E22, E25, E27 or E30 fuel?

Has anyone here been using higher ethanol blends in their i20 regularly?

Did you notice any changes in mileage, performance, engine smoothness, cold starts, or maintenance requirements?

Are there any risks to fuel system components, injectors, seals, or the engine over time?

If E30 becomes the standard in the future, would the 2022 model need any modifications or ECU updates?

Looking for both official information and real-world owner experiences.

Android Auto not using full screen on 2022 Hyundai i20 Asta - any solution?

I've been using Android Auto in my 2022 Hyundai i20 Asta for about 4 years now and have never been able to get it to display in full screen.

I recently noticed that Apple CarPlay works in full screen after disabling the split-screen view in the infotainment settings. However, Android Auto still only uses roughly half of the display, with the remaining space showing time/weather etc or other information.

I've tried the usual settings on both the phone and the car, but no luck so far.

Is anyone with an i20 Asta (or a similar Hyundai system) able to get Android Auto running in full screen? If so, what settings or software versions are you using?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Is Android Auto a Bottleneck for Lossless/Hi-Res Audio?

I'm trying to understand the audio path when using Android Auto and whether it limits the benefits of lossless or Hi-Res music.

My setup is an Android phone connected via Android Auto to a Hyundai i20 with the Bose audio system. I listen to both FLAC files and Apple Music Lossless, but I'm unsure whether Android Auto preserves the original audio quality or if the signal is resampled somewhere before reaching the car's DAC/head unit.

For those who have measured, tested, or dug into the technical side of Android Auto, is there a meaningful advantage to maintaining a lossless/Hi-Res library for in-car listening? Or does Android Auto effectively negate much of the benefit?

I'm interested in the actual signal path and any objective data, as well as listening impressions from people who have compared lossless vs. high-bitrate lossy audio in a car environment.
