Napoleon and the conquest of the world is one of the earliest pieces of alternate history fiction and it follows Napoleon being able to invade russia by capturing Moscow and Saint Petersburg and forcing tsar Alexander to surrender.

During the first bit, it reads like your average alternate history post, implausible but still somewhat grounded in reality and the time period, then the story goes a little of the deep end with napoleon accomplishing certain feats that are not limited to, managing to conquer Asia in 4 years, tamed a lion by staring it down, being such a generous patron to the arts and sciences that the ocean is now drinkable, blows up saint Helena Island after sailing by it and feeling a bit sick and so much more crazy stuff.

Originally the meme was gonna be the first four dominant land animals that emerges after every mass extinction event but i then wanted to use an extended sniper template for this meme and with a combination of imagination, half assery and debating whether i should use Greek or Latin for the scientific names i came up with two new land animals that emerge after the mass extinction event of the bugs and their successors.

When the mass extinction event that ended the age of mammals and brought about the age of bugs, some birds managed to survive and they adapted very long tongues (hence their scientific name) to scrounge up the smaller bugs before having to eventually get away before being swarmed, being to to use their tounges as an appendage to manipulate their environment and fend off threats. Eventually a mass extinction event ended the age of bugs and broght about the age of the longualingula (could not figure out how to come up with a shorter name)

For comedic effect I came up with the longualingua being replaced by sentient gasses (hence their name, attentive cloud)

Yeah I put way too much though and effort for this meme and should've just left it at the orginal four but fuck it, i put extra effort into something would be shame to scrap it.
