The Snake Lair box is very heavy! No wonder since the inner box is well protected. Big thumbs up to Mattel for this.

Kevin Smith says he’s having conversations about returning to the Masters of the Universe universe – and the unfinished She-Ra story could finally happen.

Speaking at San Diego Comic-Con, Smith revealed there’s a potential way to continue what began with Masters of the Universe: Revelation and Revolution and follow through on the Despara/Adora storyline.

“I think you’re going to see that She-Ra story.”

Nothing is officially confirmed yet, but Smith says there’s “one more to do” and he believes fans are going to see it.

Would you like to see Kevin Smith return to finish the story?

The new Masters of the Universe: Revelation/Revolution Blu-ray steelbook is in stock on Amazon:

Questions for Monster in my Pocket collectors

Hi there! I'm collecting Monster in My Pocket for the first time since my childhood and hope you could help me with some questions.

  1. I remember my parents buying the Monster Mountain display at Toys R Us when I was a kid, and I remember it coming with all of the figures. Am I misremembering this?

  2. I'm only interested in collecting Series 1 figures. I'd like to complete the set of figures shown on the Monster Mountain box. Am I setting myself up for failure? Are any of those figures absurdly expensive? Do collectors generally just collect as many as they can in different colors? What is the scope of your own collection?

  3. These days where do you buy these? Mostly at toy shows, eBay, or somewhere else?

  4. I bought the volcano display loose and with a crack in it at a toy show for about $50. About what price range am I looking at for the Monster Clash game?

Thanks!

Amazon has added an "Auto Buy" feature that can make it easier for toy collectors to hunt down new and in demand collectibles.

Instead of constantly checking to see if something goes on sale, you can tell Amazon the price you’re willing to pay and let Amazon catch the deal for you. When the items show up in stock and falls within your price range, Amazon automatically places an order using your default payment method.

I tried this the other day on a new Power Rangers Lion Thunderzord figure I was hoping to catch in stock on Amazon, and when I checked my account this morning I was delighted to find Amazon had placed an order for it!

Have you tried this new feature yet?

Jon Cypher, a veteran actor remembered for many iconic television roles of the 1980s and 1990s, and for his masterful portrayal of Man-At-Arms in the 1987 Masters of the Universe film, has died at the age of 94.

Cypher passed away at his home in Central Point, Oregon, on August 3, with his wife of 40 years, Carol Rosin, by his side. His family remembered him as the most kind of men with a great sense of humor, brilliant mind, and a huge loving and caring heart for all sacred life.

While playing Man-At-Arms, Cypher improvised a line that wasn’t in the script. The filmmakers loved it enough to keep it: “Good journey.”

Lovely Runner is my new Top 5 favorite!

It starts out slow but when it's finished ramping up it's a wild ride right up until the end! There are twists and turns throughout, and the ending is very satisfying. Me and my wife were on the edge of our seats! I can't recommend it enough.

My other Top 5 favorites include "Crash Landing On You", "It's Okay Not to Be Okay", "Vincenzo", and "The Legend of the Blue Sea".
