  2. All are updated to their latest OS

  3. I can control the homepods fine (ask siri, play music from voice, etc, can set alarms and timers through my iphone)

Planning to purchase this Wavlink UTD45 Pro TB4 Dock. I saw reviews on amazon that they need to install displaylink drivers to use the dock with their monitors.

I want to avoid this all, I just want it plug and play. I dont want it to consume additional ram/cpu load just by running.

If I use only the TB4 ports (usb c to hdmi to my 1080 p monitor) do i need to install any drivers?

Im planning to buy a dock with only thunderbolt 4 downstream ports (no hdmis and displayports). Can I just buy any USB C to Hdmi cables or dongles to connect to the dock to my hdmi monitors and it will work?

Please refer on the images for the devices I plan to buy.

Context:

I have an existing Ubiquiti US 16 150W POE switch. Planning to use the sfp port to connect it to another switch’s sfp (non-ubiquiti) on another house. I plan to use an outdoor sc to sc fiber cable , and a single mode sc sc module adapter

Will this work?
