About a week ago, I showed you this huge poppy plant. Since then, I’ve spotted a few more buds, and now there are nine in total!
This is a special heirloom breadseed poppy variety called Papaver somniferum ‘Super Mammoth’ (Sunrise Pinks). It’s famous for its massive, tennis-ball-sized seed pods and stunning, large pink and purple flowers. The pods are relatively small right now, I don’t think they’re going to get to be tennis ball sized but we will see.. These can reach heights of 2-4 feet and are cherished for their beauty and use in baking.

I scattered some seeds in a random planter and ended up with this 3 foot beauty! There are 4 to 5 additional buds that are about to bloom as well! Super excited for this one!

The quality of our uniforms is absolutely atrocious. I bought a brand new pair of shorts and the material is so thin that it’s fucking transparent, there’s literally no reinforcements anywhere, the stitching is coming out after two washes and I can already tell that these shorts aren’t going to make it more than a month. You can literally get better quality clothes at the fucking dollar store and with all of that being said, you keep jacking up the fucking price.
You’re literally gouging postal employees, how fucking dare you.
These were all shot in Washington DC. Most of them were shot at Buzz, one of them was shot at Sunday Sight Sessions. They were all shot with film and they were all shot between 1999 and 2001.

It took me close to six years of trying to quit kratom before I finally got it.
I would get a couple days clean, I would cave and I would relapse. I would get 24 hours clean, I would cave and I would relapse. I would get a week or two clean, I would cave and I would relapse. I finally got sick and tired of being sick and tired.
I was about to start Suboxone (again) because I just couldn’t stay clean. In the past, I’d detox for 3 days before I took my first sub dose, so I did the same thing this time. On day 4, instead of taking that first sub dose, I waited another day. Then I waited another day. And another, and another..
I am currently on day 845 of no kratom (or subs..)
You CAN quit. If I can do it, anyone can. Don’t ever stop trying to quit, you will get it eventually. ✊

This night was absolute madness. I never even made it out of the DnB room! I heard Dillinja’s ‘All Aboard’ for the first time. I went on to hear it at least 3 different times that night. I’d been a fan on DnB prior to this but this night is what made me fall in love with the genre, two and a half decades ago..

Hello all. I’m looking for a new tribe or even just a new friend to go raving with. It seems like over the years, a lot of my friends have either moved or we just don’t hang out anymore.
A little about me: I’m 52 and I grew up in New England. I have a wife and a seven-year-old son. My wife unfortunately isn’t down for staying out late anymore so she’s retired from raving/clubbing.
I discovered electronic music back in 1991, when I was introduced to The Orb. Two years later, I saw The Orb at my first rave in NYC. That night I was introduced to hardcore/breakbeats. A couple of years later in 1995, I discovered Goldie’s Timeless LP and the following year I was introduced to LTJ Bukem when I purchased a mixtape he did for Mixmag at my local Sam Goody. I’ve been obsessed with drum & bass ever since!
Around 2006/2007, I discovered dubstep. I was living down in South Florida and would catch all of the dubstep pioneers/originators at WMC, what a magical time! In 2010 I moved out here to Denver and fell in love with the scene out here. Norad, Fridays at Beta, dubstep shows at Larimer Lounge and Cervantes were some of my stomping grounds.
I go out a few times a year, mainly to dubstep/140 and/or drum and bass events. Next up on my list is Bass Invasion at Meow Wolf!
Also, I went to my first STS9 show in 2024 and I’m hooked! I’ve been to three shows so far and I’m considering going July 4 weekend as well.
I’d love to meet up with some like-minded peeps or tag along with a crew. I’d prefer to hang with people that are at least 35 years old. I consume cannabis regularly and psychedelics occasionally. I also grow my own psilocybin. 😁 I’m also into good food, good laughs, art, toys, video games, gardening, graffiti and stand-up comedy.

Kronk customized this mega Munny. It was absolutely amazing. Whatever kind of finish he used on it made the whole thing crackle and the whole thing looked like it was made out of porcelain. The detail was absolutely stunning! One of the coolest custom pieces I have ever seen! This piece was on display at the Kidrobot store in Boulder. The store closed down and this piece disappeared. It never made it back to the corporate office, I’ve never seen photos of it since and I’ve never heard a single word as to where it might have gone. These photos were shot in 2012.
Has anyone ever seen this in anyone’s collection? If you ended up with it, good for you.. 😂
