I am going fishing at Lake Hopatcong county park one of these days (off shore) and buying stuff for it today or tommorow, what should i bring for this weather

I will not buy a new rod. I have a Lew's Mach 2, Profishency Spincast Combo with a Daiwa QR2 spinning reel, and a broken tip Wrath 2 (buying stuff to fix it). I also have an eagle claw Ice Rod, but I will not bring it.

My target species I have caught are:

  1. Largemouth Bass
  2. Black Crappie
  3. Golden Shiner

My target species I haven't caught

  1. Small Mouth Bass
  2. White Perch
  3. Yellow Perch
  4. Rock Bass
  5. Chain Pickerel

I intend on catching at least 1 new species before winter

I’m making my first fishing lure. I have stuff from my Warhammer days in terms of paint. Does this look like a good start?

  1. i have a drills
  2. i ordered some stuff to seal wood
  3. the wood is southern yellow pine
  • Thickness / Depth:1-1/2 inches 
  • Width: 2-3/8 inches

How do you target (primarily pond) Black Crappie?

^my fathers hand lol

basically, ive caught 1 or 2 (don’t remember) crappie before, my father has definitely caught 2 and they are REALLY fun to catch. They put up a good fight, but not a hard one. just fun, idk.

However, we usually go through catching 10-15 bluegill and pumpkinseed before catching one. we typically use a weighted bobber, medium light or medium heavy rod with a smaller hook, no weight since it’s a shallow-ish pond where we usually go.

i typically use waxworms, corn and the occasional nightcrawler for bluegill and general panfish

What stuff do I use to target Crappie?

Every ideology Hank has said in KOTH is his beliefs.

The general public doesn’t know where he got his influence ideologically from.

he has one son, is 59~~~ and has a wife.

he has a surprising amount of wealth.

He has had numerous successful minor politcal roles.

could he win the 2024 presidential election with a sizable budget?

(NORTH NJ/BERGEN COUNTY AREA) Hey, I’m an amateur fisherman. These are all the freshwater species I’ve caught (I’ve only caught in NJ). And on image 2, those are the species I really want to catch! What nice spots that are easily accessible in the area/side of NJ should I go to? And what tackle?

I exclusively use spinning reels, so far.

nothing too crazy as I fish with my dad and i don’t want him going on huge treks (he probably would be fine, but tbh we’re not the hiking type)

What are the best fishing spots in Queens?

hi,

im a new fisherman, mostly freshwater, though my first fish was a literal fluke, I haven’t caught any fish in the ocean, nor in a state besides NJ (catching fish in 2 more states is a goal of mine this summer).

what are some the best fishing spots in Queens, since I typically go there often?

I think people should grow up and realize that they don’t like Schaff’s takes instead of complaining.

I really really really dislike Schaff‘s tkaes. I think he is partially the reason I went through my “pretentious movie fan” era a while’s back but that’s on me lol.

but, I grew up past the fact I dislike him and stopped watching!

it took me a bit to stop watching, even if I realized I dislike him.

I still watch his old school YTP’s.

i went back on Reddit and went on main sub and realized that half the posts are just hating on him instead of just ignoring him.
