What is your favorite dairy free overnight oats recipe?

I’m also hoping to have some protein in it. I bought the Quaker protein oats which have 10g of protein per 1/2 cup serving. I also was planning to use my favorite ripple milk to add more protein. Anything else I should add? Favorite toppings?

Did you experience a major increase in appetite after quitting?

For those who have stopped the medication, did you experience a big increase in your appetite since Wellbutrin can cause a decrease in appetite while taking it? This is something I am afraid of since I have successfully lost 60lbs on this medication (I’m really not 100% sure if my appetite decreased on the medication but I was able to eat less and I don’t want to be shocked with crazy hunger after stopping).

Can I order a cool wrap at open, 6:30am?

I would like to pick one up for my lunch before going to work rather than spending time driving there on my lunch break. Would they make it for me at 6:30am?

Should I go to The Smith or Luxbar for a good burger?

I’m going Saturday night so those are my options of places that still have availability and both look really good to me I can’t decide!

Chicken pot pie in Chicago?

Is there any restaurants near river north/the loop/fulton market area that have chicken pot pie? I’m craving and yelp isn’t being helpful.

I am not ashamed to say this is my favorite Aldi product

WAY better than the Jimmy dean ones! (They’ve had these forever but recently changed the packaging)

I accidentally ate dairy..

And I was fine! Here’s what happened. I got some free Funyuns from the break room at work. I grabbed 2 single serving bags and didn’t think anything of it. That night, I ate one of the bags and the next day I ate the other bag. I was like wow these are good let me look them up to see if I can buy these little bags somewhere. To my surprise, when I look them up, I see that it says contains milk on the label. I don’t know why I didn’t even think to look. Now, it is at the bottom of the label and says “contains less than 2% of nonfat dry milk”. But now it has me thinking: can I tolerate a very small amount of milk? Idk it has me very hopeful. Has this happened to anyone else and what did you do? I want to try a couple other items with similar ingredients to see how I do but I am a little nervous.

What is the best cooked chicken to buy at Trader Joe’s?

(Specifically grilled/baked chicken not fried or nuggets). They have lots of cooked chicken options in the deli section and I’m not sure about frozen. Which one is the best to buy? I’m thinking of using it in chicken pesto pasta.

Is Alla Vita accommodating to allergies?

I can’t have dairy and it looks like all of their pasta contains some form of dairy. I was thinking of trying to order the beef shank ragu or sausage ragu without the Parmesan.

I’m obsessed with z bars

This is one of my longest obsessions. I’ve been eating them constantly for 3+ years. It’s always the chocolate chip flavor but I have dabbled in chocolate brownie which is good too.

What pair are you eyeing right now/at the top of your wishlist?

These are mine. I don’t have any mid stars and these would match my style soooo good! Gonna look at them in store next week.

Why does society act like non dairy isn't a thing?

I'm at a work conference and yet again, despite putting dairy intolerant on my intake sheet, there is NO food for me at the events except salad with vinaigrette.

Genuinely so lost on why people act like non dairy isn't a thing. Restaurants rarely have options, apparently my workplace thinks it's not worth considering / the catering cannot fathom that they would fulfill it ... why is it like this??

I'm also just hypersensitive to being overlooked / don't understand why they can't accommodate when they have special plates for other people with different restrictions. And lactose intolerance is super common right??

Any helpful insights on this culturally ? 😭

Midstars for $175?

Is this a good purchase yay or nay? I’ve been wanting midstars but not sure how much I’d wear them so I haven’t bit the bullet but these seem to be in pretty good condition and 175 is low.

Are curly fries always seasoned?

I just thought of this. I’ve never seen/heard of curly cut fries with just the basic salt seasoning like McDonald’s fries. They always have a very flavorful seasoning blend. Therefore, when people talk about the best fries, curly always comes out on top, it it’s not because of the shape, it’s because of that special seasoning (aka Arby’s).
