Motorbikes(nduthis) should be BANNED from using highway flyovers

And if they are banned, someone clearly isn't doing a good job.Hapa Mlolongo footbridge they own the road

They cause so much chaos hapo kwa footbridge.People are walking and selling things alafu every 5 seconds bike inapita ikipigia kila mtu honi,LIKE WTF????!!!!I'm just trying to walk peacefully alafu one sneaks up on me, and cause it's a footbridge, there's nowhere else you can go

They're also very dangerous especially when kids are involved. Remove them from flyovers specifically and make them cross the road properly. Fine them if they don't follow the rules pia.

Heartfixer should have been the two part season 6 finale (SP, Nemesis spoilers)

Eliminate Queen of the Dreadzone, have Nemesis be episode 20(without the "parents found out" scene), Secret Protocol be episode 24("Lila in China" end scene in Sadnansi), and let Heartfixer be the finale.

The Heartfixer episode is iconic and it's waaaaaaaaayyyy better than Cat Blanc. The drama was incredible and it took my breath away. That being said, the "Marinette gets akumatized" bit was poorly executed and lasted only 5 minutes which was very disappointing. It would have worked better as the finale, with a whole episode specifically dedicated to the akuma battle.(And think about how exciting the real akuma would have been after the Nemesis fake-out in this order)

The first part could have been more focused on Marinette after her parents find out the truth, the pressure of hiding the secret, and the plan by the bully trio...then the second part could have been the intense action between the Miraculers and Heartfixer. Also, Heartfixer could be mega powerful just like Nemesis making her hard to beat.

Thoughts?

Trans women should ABSOLUTELY be allowed to compete in women's sports, and transphobes exaggerate the issue to demonize trans people as a whole

I understand the biological concerns, all about transgender women who have undergone puberty being biologically stronger and faster than cisgender women. However, that's a solvable issue that's possible to remedy.

First of all,a trans athlete should be able to present medical evidence that they have been in gender affirming care and has been medically transitioning for at least 4 years. This prevents cis men from self identifying as trans and faking a transition to take advantage of the policy.

We live in an age of science, programming and machine learning. If we can account for the height of prostheses,or the microfiber in a swimsuit to ensure it doesn't give a swimmer an unfair advantage ,or the height and energy return of a running shoe,we can DEFINITELY account for the advantage a trans woman has due to male puberty,by adequately penalizing the athlete e.g.adding 5 seconds to their completed 100m sprint.(My point: SPORTS CAN AND SHOULD ADAPT WITH THE HELP OF TECHNOLOGY TO ACCOMMODATE TRANS ATHLETES)

By adequately penalizing trans athletes to reflect this advantage and having constants that account for muscle mass, bone density and limb height;we can certainly allow them to compete. And besides, the nature of sports is inherently unfair. There are cis women who have greater lung capacity and heart size e.t.c. and no one complains about them.

Transphobic people and conservatives blow the issue out of proportion just to open fire on not only trans women, but women in general due to patriarchal values and misogyny, because:

(1)It's easy ammo against the transgender community, and it unfairly pits trans women against cis women

(2) Women's sports are a male dominated field. While the players are women, the coaches, trainers and referees are mostly men.The biggest problems women in sports face isn't trans athletes,it's sexual abuse and assault from male coaches.

(3)From 3,if people really cared about women's sports, they would be pushing for punishment of men who sexually assault women in sports, not punishing a group that barely participates to do the lip service of "helping women".

(3)Fewer than 10 trans women compete in a year's worth of sports,so not that many trans athletes are playing in the first place.

"Being gay/lesbian/trans is your cross.Jesus told his followers to pick up their crosses and follow Him(Matthew 16:24)",and how non affirming Christians abuse this verse.

Scripture highlights 2 types of suffering: redemptive suffering meant to bring greater glory to God(like childbirth, studying late for an exam),and oppressive abuse that causes harm and is done as a means with no end(the injustices of slavery, oppression of women). We need to highlight the difference clearly here

The Bible gives us examples of how beautiful suffering can be.I'll start with Hannah (1 Samuel 1)who wanted a child so terribly, that she cried to the Lord until she lost her voice, and was finally delivered from childlessness, and dedicated Samuel, one of the greatest prophets in the Bible,to the Lord,"For this child I prayed, and the Lord has given me my petition as I asked of him"(v.27)

Or consider St Paul, who often wrote Phillipians in prison, and spoke about a painful thorn in his flesh (2 Corinthians 12:7-10)and explicitly states that the pain was purposeful,to "make God's power perfect in weakness".The love of God is a "purifying fire"(1 Peter 1:7, Catholic doctrine of purgatory) and Christian suffering MUST NOT be meaningless, but must be ordered to reflect the greater beauty of God.

Oppression is highly condemned in Scripture and Christians are warned against inflicting unnecessary pain that just crushes spirits and human potential. In Exodus 1-3,the Israelites cry out to God under their oppression in Egypt and the killing of their babies by Egyptian midwives.Or Psalms 137,where the raw pain of the enslaved Israelites in Babylon can be deeply felt:By the rivers of Babylon,we sat and wept while we remembered Zion.

Anti LGBTQ theology, which is an attack of the God given dignity of queer people(the Image and likeness of God,Gen 1:27),is oppression that increases suicide rates, causes greater unhappiness, self hatred and jealousy, and ultimately stops gay people from achieving their full divinely inspired plans and potential.

Why aren't more Kenyans LGBTQ affirming?

Honest question, asked in humility and good faith.

Kama ni juu ya Christianity or religion,Kuna Bible interpretations that allow you to recognize the authority of Scripture and accommodate same sex relationships.

If you hold an ingrained hatred for lesbians/gay people/trans people,I would sincerely love to know why.

(Saying that "I'm okay with gay people, bora they don't do it in public".... "Movies zimejaa gays na lesbians, what happened to straight couples"..."Nachukia watu who make being gay their whole thing"...or "I love them,I don't like what they do ama I hate their sin" is homophobia.Regardless of what you think)

Furthermore,a lot of men feel wanaogopa when gay people hit on them at work or in school and say that they have a crush on them.No one is looking to SA you when they say they crush on you.We weren't creeping on you or spying on you.I lost a roommate when I came out cause he thought I was secretly checking him out)

As a gay man,it's riskier for me to crush on someone cause I have higher chances of being killed by my partner,or to face institutional violence

Homophobia comes from sexism cause of the fear of "effeminizing" a man, when gay people are just as masculine and have complete personalities outside their sexualities.

I would love a discussion on this.

EDIT:Gay people and lesbians don't just "have sex".We fall in love too like straight people do all the time and just wanna go out for dates and lunch and kiss in public without hostility.

Petition to change the subreddit name to "GayKenya"(instead of gaynairobi)

Title.

First of all,I see lots of gay men from Kisumu,Baringo,Mombasa e.t.c. post on here.So the name is inaccurate

Second,it's classist AF.It assumes only Nairobi homosexuals have something to say when all gays, from all of Kenya, have meaningful perspectives to contribute to the wider discussion.Kenyan gays need to be united tukiaddress Kenyan marriage equality, internalized homophobia and violence against gay people.

Inacreate a tiered system where Nairobi is first, then the rest of Kenya follows, and this perspective that Nairobians are "cooler" and more intelligent than everyone

Gay Kenya 🙂

The show could have ended today(Nemesis spoilers)

(1)Have Polymouse fuse with Vesperia and venom Chrysalis as soon as they caught her.

(2)Use Carapace shelter to close off the catacombs and trap Chrysalis in a dome.

(3) Have Polymouse multiply and have a double, stay on Chrysalis even after she escapes the catacombs. Her doubles could also have searched every inch of the catacombs.

(4)Have Ryuko use lightning and wind dragon to travel at light speed in the catacombs, she would have caught Chrysalis since she is WAAAAAAAAAYYYY faster.

(5) Pegasus could have opened a portal in Chrysalis' way to trap her in a room. Or to seal off the catacombs and make it an infinite loop with no escape.

(6) Involving Luka as Viperion.Second chance again and again, repeat the chase until they finally catch Chrysalis, even if it takes months.

(7)Use Cat Noir's cataclysm or Juleka(Purple Tigress)clout to destroy the catacombs and all the walls so that she has nowhere to go.

(8)Have Polymouse (again)place a tracker on Chrysalis such that even if she escaped the catacombs, they could still track her.

(9) King Monkey could have used uproar to interfere with her shapeshifting power.

(10)Ladybug could have used lucky charm to get an object that would have been useful in the chase. Or Miraculous Ladybug to fix the burnt books and collect evidence against Chrysalis. Or her very fast yoyo to catch and trip her.

(11) Ryuko could also have used water dragon, or King Monkey uproar,to put out the fire and get access to the books.

(12) Rena Rouge could have made maze and wall illusions(like she did in Wreckless Driver)to confuse and trap her.

(13) Rooster Bold with an invisibility or smell power.Enough said.

*Bunnyx and Argos. Enough said. Though they don't count.

Polymouse especially,I feel like the bee fusion would have been enough. And they all could have been more feral, cause it's like they forgot that THEY WERE SUPERHEROES, WITH SUPERPOWERS.I just head canon that Mari was stressed cause of the pressure

that was on her

But anyway the show must go on!

Opposition to BOTH homosexuality and abortion by the modern Catholic Church is hypocritical. It proves that the RCC cherry-picks Science.

Catholics cherry-pick the science that supports their religious claims but ignore the science that refutes their claims. An example is on the topics of homosexuality and abortion.

On abortion, they support the science. I'm not aware of a single Bible verse that declares that "human life begins at fertilization". In fact, the Bible associates life with first breath (Genesis 2:7,the flood narrative). As far as I'm aware, the Catholic Church and evangelical opposition on abortion comes from modern embryology which says that "Human life and development begins at fertilization. At the moment of fertilization a distinct human organism with formed with unique DNA". This is used to prove that human beings exist at fertilization and murder is wrong.

But on homosexuality, they deny the science that says that being homosexual or trans is a natural variation of human sexuality. They stick to verses from 2000 years ago that clearly AREN'T talking about homosexuality, which clearly denies science from cognitive development experts, neurosurgeons e.t.c. that say that homosexuality is natural while suppression leads to higher rates of depression.

The Catholic Church needs to choose whether it is PRO SCIENCE OR ANTI SCIENCE?

PRO SCIENCE: Support homosexuality, condemn abortion

ANTI SCIENCE: Support abortion, condemn homosexuality

It's entitlement to expect a child to give up their seat for an adult.(Most) adults are simply lazy and use "etiquette" to manipulate children

FIRST AND FOREMOST,if it's a genuinely disabled person or an elderly person,I think ANYONE,NOT JUST A CHILD,should give up their seat. It's crappy behavior to be seated when someone is having trouble standing.

I'm talking about younger and healthier adults, like millennials,Gen-Z and younger boomers. If it's a bus,a subway, bench e.t.c,and a child has occupied a seat,YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT TO THEIR SEAT BECAUSE THEY ARE YOUNGER THAN YOU.If they choose to give up their seat to you,you should be grateful, just like you would if anyone else gave up their seat.

Adults are busier and more tired, but kids go through a lot.You see an innocent child? They may be a victim of child abuse, bullying,or come from a stressful home or school environment. They aren't just dolls for your convenience. Its a social construct that sees children as objects for convenience instead of individual people with individual personalities.(for example, would you ask a student who is reading a book to stand?)

And besides, lots of adults also aren't getting enough exercise cause of long sitting periods at office work e.t.c...Standing would be beneficial for them too. Finally,it would encourage humility where everyone is treated with moral worth and dignity regardless of their age,and the old can learn from the young, and vice versa

Women's nipples

Kenyan women, how many of y'all are pro-free the nipple?

There is a double standard of how male and female tits and nipples are seen in society.IT'S THE SAME NIPPLE.

Why do women have to cover up their nipples with uncomfortable bras but it's perfectly fine for men to be shirtless and have exposed nipples?Vitu zingine pia ni social constructs na outdated decency standards.

It also includes capturing and shaming women for nip-slips e.t.c.

All nipples are equal, male and female.Tuzi-treat as such.

Why do most people (men) refuse to parent kids that aren't biologically theirs?

It's blatant selfishness and misdirected male pride.Let me explain.Cause mbona u-shame mtu cause anaraise mtoto si wake?

First of all,the mtoto ni innocent. I love children.I have a present and loving father.Every child deserves loving parents who nurture, mentor and care about them.THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF A CHILD'S CONCEPTION DON'T MATTER.That child did nothing wrong to deserve to be punished by being denied a loving parent.

The woman/man cheated, DIRECT YOUR ANGER AT THE CHEATER...NOT AT THE INNOCENT CHILD CONCEIVED IN THE CHEATING.

Sexual assault/r*pe is deeply tragic on women and those women who have undergone SA deserve justice and love. It's very brave to give birth to and raise a child conceived in assault. All children, even the ones conceived out of wedlock ,are children still.Wanahitaji love and support.

Alafu refusing to date single mothers cause they have kids hutaki...single mothers wanakuanga the most resilient and passionate women huku nje.

It's insanely selfish to deny love and parenting to a child in the name of "sio sperm yangu" ama "mimi sio babake".A real man si ule wa "I can't raise cum that isn't mine".Real masculinity is nurturing and fair.

The anger is valid, but it should be directed at the right person, and not an innocent child.

Samsung has become so lazy and stale

The Z Fold 8 phones are such an immense disappointment in my opinion.Same design, silicon carbide was used sparingly and old cameras from 5 years ago.S Pen haikurudi adi.

Kwanza the Galaxy s26 Ultra is a bloody joke.5000 mAH in 2026 is lame, akina Oppo and Xiaomi do 7500 mAH and 100W charging.Bado 1 inch sensors pia, Bluetooth SPen,weak sensors...and many more.Oppo, Xiaomi and Vivo at killing it.

Sammy siku izi wanaboo and it's tragic and painful to watch, cause they were industry leading back in 2023.They're focusing on BS AI instead of making good phones and they're falling behind the competition.
