Existing address in Hamra?

Has anyone lived his/her whole life in Hamra?

If yes, does this building and address still exist there or it's been condemned and demolished then rebuilt and renamed a long time ago?

Google Maps couldn't help me unfortunately.

What kind of personality do we call that in a character in a movie?

Recently, I saw What a Girl Wants for the first time this year.

What Alistair Payne did to Daphne's parents just because he thought Libby was unfit to be a lady and Henry was ruining both his life and family's reputation reminds me of what Evan Taylor's grandfather did to him the moment he was born at premature birth; giving him up for adoption just because he thought the boy would distract and ruin his daughter's life while leading her to believe he died at childbirth until finally confessing on his deathbed in August Rush.

Same thing with Ramsley from The Haunted Mansion when he killed his master's lover while allowing his master to believe that she committed suicide just because he thought his master was going to give up everything for love even if it led to his master committing suicide as well, which eventually led to the mansion being haunted afterwards.

What kind of personality/trait would you call that in someone, villain or not? Is it called being selfish or something?

Annabelle's Wish DVD

I am planning to buy and own an Annabelle's Wish on a region 1 DVD soon thru Amazon or eBay.

Problem is that I don’t know which region 1 disc has English subtitles included or whether it even has English subtitles to begin with for me to order.

And when I say region 1, I mean NTSC, not PAL.

Does anyone own the movie on DVD on NTSC WITH English subtitles? If yes, please show me with pictures of the DVD cover thru private message if possible so that I know which to pick and buy soon.

Remember. NTSC with English subtitles, not PAL with English subtitles.

Thank you and good luck.

Peace in Lebanon

Let's hope there will be some peace in Lebanon soon this year. Probably before summer begins.

After all, unlike World Wars, this kind doesn't last for years.

My very own Oliver & Company live-action remake pt 2

Later on the same night, Jenny and Georgette were following the map to the rendezvous drawn on the other side of the ransom note. Meanwhile, Fagin was waiting impatiently for Jenny’s arrival and Dodger, having recovered from his injuries, rejoined the rest of the gang. Then, Fagin was beginning to get rather nervous and worried about what to do and say when he meets Oliver’s new owner; knowing that what he was doing was wrong and that he didn’t have the heart to tell Jenny the truth once they have actually met in person.

Having arrived at the rendezvous but oblivious to that matter and as to who Fagin is, Jenny appeared behind Fagin, excused herself, and asked him for help; not knowing that Sykes and some of his men were watching them in the former’s car from a distance. “I don’t know about you, boss, but something doesn’t feel right.” said one thug. “I say we kill the old man and get the girl now, boss.” said another thug, but Sykes simply replied: “Patience, boys. Patience. Let’s just see how far this goes. And in the end, if all else fails, we’ll make our move, but no killing, understood? Don’t wanna make a scene or draw attention to ourselves now, do we? Besides, Fagin’s got us this far, so, why do otherwise; failure or not? It ain’t worth it. He ain’t worth it either, right, boys?” Each thug’s response ended with: “Right, boss.” Sykes replied back: “Right. Now shut up and watch. I don’t wanna miss anything here.” Close to panicking, Fagin simply brushed off his worries, faked a smile, and pretended he did not who Jenny was and what she was really doing here. “Uh, yes, Jen… I mean, cute little girl? What can I do for you?” asked Fagin sheepishly. “Oh, please, sir.” replied Jenny to Fagin, “Somebody stole my kitty. They left me this note and told me they’ll give him back to me if I meet them somewhere here on this map tonight in exchange for some money as payment. But now, I’m not so sure where I am anymore.” Fagin replied back: “Oh, really? Well, that is awful. I, for one, can’t imagine what sort of person would do such a horrible thing; especially, to a sweet and innocent little girl like you.” “I know. But what’s worse is that I don’t even have the exact amount of money they’ve asked for.” replied back Jenny. Fagin nearly shouted out: “What?! You don’t have the… I mean, what do you mean you don’t have the money, my dear?” Jenny replied: “Well, you see, sir. My parents are out of town and with our money at the bank and me being a minor, I can’t seem to get the exact amount I need to get my kitty, Oliver back legally. And the last thing I’d want is to involve either the police or even our butler, Winston in all this for that matter.” Fagin asked: “Oh, well. We certainly wouldn’t want that. And if anything, that was pretty smart thinking on your part, my dear, but tell me. Just how much do you need and how exactly do you intend to get your Oliver back?” “I don’t know. I was hoping I would get him back with this even though they asked for approximately $47,405.” replied Jenny as she showed Fagin her piggy bank. Fagin appeared more devastated than ever since her piggy bank containing only a few bank notes and coins was all that she had to get Oliver back.

When Jenny asked Fagin about the nature of the kidnapper and his actions, the latter tried to cheer her up while explaining the reason for his actions, but Jenny stated it was still wrong as she started to worry and cry out of fear of never seeing Oliver again, leaving Fagin in quite a state and situation where a tough decision had to be made. Feeling more guilt-stricken than before, Fagin walked away and watched Jenny cry and Georgette, beginning to regret her earlier actions when she saw how sad Jenny really was without Oliver, come to comfort her in her time of need. Reunited with his dogs, listening to their whines, and looking at both their sad facial expressions and Oliver’s, Fagin was stuck struggling with his conscience. “Without the money, we’re dead. Without you, life has no meaning for us and especially, Jenny anymore.” said Fagin to his friends. After a brief moment of hesitation and just as Jenny was about to return home with Georgette, Fagin finally did the right thing. “Well, I don’t care what happens. That girl’s happiness is more important than all the money in the world. And if you really mean that much to her, Oliver, then, so be it. I say go for it. The heck with what Sykes may think or do. We’ll manage… somehow.” said Fagin to himself before placing Oliver in a nearby box and pretending to find him there as he called out to Jenny in order to avoid suspicion and make it look like he had found the kitten instead. Reunited with Oliver once again, Jenny was overjoyed and thanked Fagin who then introduced both himself and his dogs properly before Jenny returned the favor by introducing herself and Georgette as well.

Unfortunately, everyone’s happiness was cut short when suddenly smoke grenades were deployed out of nowhere and in their direction. Though temporarily blinded from the smoke, it was not too difficult to guess Sykes and his men were behind tonight’s little stunt. Having witnessed everything earlier, Sykes decided to take matters into his own hands instead. During the struggle, Sykes; wearing a mask, rushed in with some of his men, grabbed Jenny, put a mask on her, and took her away. Fagin and the animals tried to stop them, but with the smoke and thugs keeping them at bay for as long as possible proved too much for them to overcome. Before driving away in his car, Sykes spoke out to Fagin: “I gotta admit, Fagin! I may be disappointed with you after what I had just seen, but now that I got what I need to get what I really want, I say, keep your mouth shut and consider our account closed!” The smoke wore off seconds after Sykes and Jenny were completely out of sight.

Worried about Jenny and determined to get her back, Oliver and the dogs including Georgette agreed to go after Sykes and rescue her by any means necessary, so, they rushed away straight back to Sykes’ warehouse without halting, only without Fagin this time since he was still recovering from the smoke’s effects.

At Sykes’ warehouse, Oliver and the dogs began to inspect the place to see if there was any possible entry big enough for them to crawl through since the doors and windows were obviously locked though unguarded. Luckily, one window on top of a dumpster was cracked open enough for someone as small as Oliver to crawl through. Once inside, Oliver was capable of opening a hatch that could only be opened from the inside in order to allow the rest of the company to enter with ease.

In the meantime, at the office, Jenny was shedding tears out of fear of Bull’s-eye snarling and growling at her while Sykes was tying her up to a chair; much to the wicked amusement of his men surrounding her. “Now, don’t cry, little girl. You’re lucky he only bites when I tell him to.” said Sykes with a cruel, sadistic tone. “Please, let me go. I haven’t done anything to you. Please, let me go.” pleaded Jenny. “Sorry, my dear, but I’m afraid that’s something I simply cannot do. Not yet anyway. And furthermore, it’s not what you did to me. Far from it. It’s what I want you to do for me. As simple as that, really.” “What do you want from me?” asked Jenny before Sykes gagged her. Sykes replied: “When I get your parents to deliver the rest of my money our good friend, Fagin formerly owed me somehow, you’ll be as free as a bird. And all this will be nothing more than just a bad dream you’ll soon wake up from and forget in no time at all. In the meantime, I just want you to sit back and relax. Take a load off and let me worry about the rest from now on. And if you know what’s good for you, you’d be kind enough to behave like the good little girl that you are… unless, of course, you want Bull’s-eye here to show you proper manners. Alright?” Jenny nodded and Sykes added: “That’s a good girl. Now, be still and don’t make any sudden moves or noise either. Keep an eye on her while I take care of business, boys.” Then, Sykes returned to his desk and checked the phone book to call up Jenny’s parents or at the very least, her butler at her address for a ransom demand while Jenny remained heavily guarded by his thugs and especially, Bull’s-eye, snarling and growling at her non-stop.

While sneaking in, Georgette accidentally tipped some empty boxes off-balance, creating some noise that alerted the gangsters mildly. Curious, Sykes sent most of his men led by Bull’s-eye to investigate the matter while Roscoe and DeSoto stayed behind to guard Jenny. Knowing they were in trouble now, Oliver and the dogs devised another strategy: divide and conquer. Going separate ways eventually confused Bull’s-eye’s tracking skills, so, both Bull’s-eye and the gangsters went in two different directions the rest of the way.

With only two thugs following suit now, Bull’s-eye was suddenly lured by Oliver straight into a puddle of soap which he slipped on, fell on his side, and crashed into an entire shelf holding tin cans of paint, which fell on and trapped him momentarily. Then, the two thugs came by to check up on Bull’s-eye when they heard all the commotion, only to end up getting stuff dropped on and thrown at them by Dodger and Rita from some shelves on the way and eventually, get knocked out after some oil tin cans fell on their heads.

The other two thugs still continued their own path until they came across Frankie who appeared to be somewhat hurt and lying on the ground motionless. They approached him for further examination, only to find themselves suddenly confronted by Charley and Einstein, snarling and growling at them from behind as if ready to attack. Realizing they’ve been tricked and becoming more intimidated than ever, the thugs panicked and tried to run away, but their escape route was blocked further by Frankie and Georgette having joined up as well and the two ended up getting bitten on the posteriors by Charley and Einstein when trying to escape either way out of fear before being pinned to the ground with all four dogs dog-piling and fighting them off until they were too weak to move or walk any further.

Later, Sykes was busy speaking on the phone with Winston, asking him to get in contact with Jenny’s parents from afar concerning the current situation while Roscoe and DeSoto were still watching their young hostage. Reunited once again, Oliver and the dogs proceeded altogether to Sykes’ office where they overheard the mobster in his phone conversation. Acting quickly, Oliver and the dogs created another diversion by howling, barking, and meowing loudly from a distance nearby. So loud that Sykes was forced to cut his conversation with Winston short. “What is this?!” exclaimed Sykes. Although Jenny knew this meant Oliver, Georgette, and Fagin’s dogs were here, she remained silent to avoid suspicion. Sensing something was wrong considering his other men’s disappearances, Sykes decided to take matters into his own hands with Roscoe and DeSoto following suit, leaving Jenny unguarded. Outside the office with the door left open, Sykes ordered: “Roscoe, you go this way. DeSoto, the other way. I’ll see what’s going on through here.” “Right, boss.” replied his remaining thugs before splitting up.

As soon as the coast was clear, the animals entered where Jenny found herself happily reunited with Oliver and Georgette once again and rescued by the other dogs after chewing off the ropes at the same time. “What are you doin’?! Playin’ hide-and-seek?! Get outta there, you stupid mutt!” exclaimed Sykes in anger and annoyance when he found and freed his dog from his temporary confinement. Having found the two thugs knocked down earlier by oil cans, Roscoe picked them up and forced them to recover quickly. “Get up, you mugs! Come on! What happened?” asked Roscoe. After a slight recovery from their injuries, one of the agonized thugs simply responded: “Cats. Dogs. Tin cans!” Roscoe replied: “Aw, shut up, will ya?! You know, you two are lucky I’m not the boss. Otherwise, I would have my way with you two morons already. I can only imagine what he has to say when he finds out what a bunch of incompetent idiots you two really are. Now get up and get going! You two make me sick just by looking at your two ugly faces!” When DeSoto found the other thugs in so much pain and trauma from the dog attacks earlier, his reaction matched Roscoe’s as well. “Alright, alright! Now what’s going on here? And what happened to your clothes?” asked DeSoto. “Dogs. Dogs. Dogs!” was the only response DeSoto could get from one of the traumatized thugs unfortunately. DeSoto replied: “Aw, shut up, will ya?! What is it with you two and this thing about dogs? Huh?! You just wait and see what the boss has to say when he finds out about the two dum-dums he keeps on payroll for his business. Now come on! I swear, how did the boss put up with you two for so long, I dunno!”

When Sykes returned with Bull’s-eye to his office only to discover, to his shock, that Jenny was missing and four of his men retrieved by Roscoe and DeSoto had been rendered weak and useless, he resumed the search with Roscoe, DeSoto, and Bull’s-eye this time; leaving the rest of his men behind at his office to await forthcoming punishment for their failure and incompetence.

Jenny and the animals tried making their way to the nearest possible exit. Hearing their enemies’ voices getting louder, they tried hiding and outwitting them by all means possible. After giving their enemies the slip yet again, Jenny suddenly found herself grabbed and silenced from behind by an unknown individual. As it turned out, it was none other than Fagin having followed his friends all the way over here to join in the rescue and picked the lock to one of the doors in doing so; much to their joy and relief. However, Jenny was a bit upset with Fagin for not telling her the truth in the first place, but, like any understanding person, she forgave him when the latter confessed and apologized for everything.

After making amends, Fagin, Jenny, and the animals’ path to freedom was blocked by Sykes and his minions surrounding them. Luckily, Fagin revealed he had stolen some smoke grenades he had previously found in storage when making his way in earlier, which he used to create enough smoke to allow everyone to escape on his scooter. But even that wasn’t enough to stop Sykes and his minions from pursuing their enemies in his limo with Sykes at the wheels after that.

However, the chase was conspicuous enough to attract the attention of cops patrolling the streets when gunshots were heard firing and some vehicles were seen colliding in traffic. Enraged, Sykes ordered Roscoe and DeSoto to cease fire considering their carelessness not only got the cops on their tail, but also nearly cost him Jenny’s life whom he needed alive. Nevertheless, with the cops in pursuit and returning fire, Sykes had no other choice but to allow his men to shoot back at them instead. Eventually, the cops’ bullets were able to hit one of the tires, which forced the troublemakers to steer off-course and out of control when chasing their enemies through the docks. Then, just when Sykes, driving like a maniac, thought he had them cornered at the edge of the dock despite his men’s warnings, Fagin quickly drove everyone to safety just before the car could hit them headfirst at the last minute, revealing he had tricked the gangsters into driving off the road. The car plunged and crashed into the Hudson River, taking the villains’ lives with it before it sank to the bottom.

With Sykes dead, Fagin was free from his debt for good. Later, the cops were briefed on the whole situation, the warehouse was raided, Jenny’s stolen items were recovered among some other things, the rest of the surviving gangsters were either arrested or condemned to a medical institute, and Jenny was returned safely home with Oliver and Georgette; much to Winston’s relief who nearly gave up hope and tried to brief both the police and his employers on the former situation.

The next day, at her mansion, Jenny was celebrating her 8th birthday with Winston and all of her friends both old and new. Then, the doorbell rang. Jenny went over to answer it, only to find to her half-unexpected surprise that her parents had actually made it home in time for her birthday as promised since the very beginning after all. “I knew you’d come somehow. Even though I thought otherwise.” said Jenny. “Oh, sweetie. Nothing is more important to us than you and your happiness. Business can wait, but family can’t.” stated Jenny’s father. “Remember, honey. Family always comes first. And nothing could ever change or take that away from us either.” added Jenny’s mother.

After a touching reunion, Jenny’s parents were eager to meet Oliver before they were introduced to Fagin and his dogs after that. When the party was over and Jenny’s school friends were gone, Jenny’s parents were briefed on the whole thing. Though slightly shocked and disappointed, they didn’t care as they were simply happy knowing their daughter was safe and more grateful to Fagin for rescuing her than returning their stolen items, aside from the fact that Mr. Foxworth never really used or even liked the ashtray given to him by his father-in-law as a wedding gift. Then, the police arrived to escort Fagin to the station right after the party as per agreed since he still had a lot to answer for the rest of his crimes no matter how small they may have been. Nevertheless, Mr. and Mrs. Foxworth promised and reassured they would make it up to Fagin somehow in gratitude for having saved their daughter and care for his dogs during his temporary absence as well.

The next day, after a long period in court and trial with a little help from the Foxworth family, Winston, and their lawyer, Mr. Thompson, Fagin was graciously sentenced to 2,184 hours of community service, on promise of good behavior after much deliberation and in recognition for his recent actions and the Foxworths were granted temporary custody of his dogs until such time when Fagin had finally performed his proper duties. Before leaving the court, the Foxworths generously promised Fagin a job offer at their company once the latter was free, which he gladly accepted. Fagin even asked Jenny to take care of Oliver now that he was her cat both officially and legally, which she certainly promised to do.

3 months passed and Fagin was already working at the Foxworths’ firm, having made it to employee of the month and living in an apartment with his dogs at a price he could now afford to pay whereas Oliver was happily living a new life in a new home with his loved ones including Jenny and Georgette, of course; knowing he could always see his old friends whenever they visited from time to time too.

My very own Oliver & Company live-action remake pt 1

The year was 1988, the traffic was roaring, the crowd was hustling, and the hot dogs were sizzling. The story began at the Foxworth Residence at #1125 on 5th Avenue where a young girl named Jennifer “Jenny” Foxworth and her family’s butler, Winston were bidding her parents farewell for their business trip around Europe as the family’s pampered, prize-winning pet poodle, Georgette just sat and watched them from the door. “What is it, sweetheart?” asked Mr. Foxworth when he saw a tear forming in his daughter’s eye. “I don’t want you to go. Please, let me come with you.” answered Jenny with a sad tone in her voice. “Oh, Jenny. You know we can’t do either even if we wanted to. This is an adult thing. Your mother and I have business to tend to across Europe. Someday, you’ll understand. And what’s more, you have school to attend to, don’t forget. But that doesn’t mean this is good-bye forever, you know. I promise you, we’ll be back before your 8th birthday comes up on Saturday, April 23 in 3 weeks from now, alright? In the meantime, we need you to stay here with Winston to look after the house… (Georgette barked) and of course, Georgette while we’re gone. Do you think you could do that for us?” asked Mr. Foxworth. “That’s my girl.” he added after Jenny nodded in agreement and before kissing her good-bye. “Good-bye, darling.” said Mrs. Foxworth before kissing her daughter good-bye as well, “Be a good girl and do everything Winston says, alright?” she added. “I will, Mom.” replied Jenny with a little smile on her face before her parents left in a black limousine waiting to escort them to the airport.

Though Winston was left responsible for his employers’ only daughter and Georgette barely provided her any company and satisfaction, Jenny had never felt so lonely in all her life. Nevertheless, she still remained kind, friendly, helpful, and caring to everyone she loved and cared about so much as the days went by. Such loneliness didn’t really affect her daily routine like going to school, having fun with her friends, doing her homework, studying for and passing exams, practicing her piano lessons, and sometimes, having fun at Central Park. Still, Jenny felt she needed a friend she can see, spend time with at home, and talk to on daily basis right after school unlike Georgette. Though they could barely see it and it hardly affected her grades and behavior, Jenny’s tutors somehow felt something was wrong. This became a concern for Winston; informed by the teachers at some point, which is why he tried the best he could to make her feel better from time to time; even if it meant skipping a few chores.

3 weeks and 3 days later and only 3 days before Jenny’s birthday, somewhere around the corners of Time Square, a middle-aged man was selling eight different kinds of kittens in a cardboard box for adoption at $5 to both children and adults. During the event, an elderly man in his prime by the name of Fagin and his pet stray dog, a German Shepherd named Dodger were passing by until they caught a glimpse of the remaining kittens in the box. Little did anyone know that Fagin was in fact, a pickpocket, a thief, and a petty criminal, but a good man at heart who only stole for survival. Fagin took a great interest in one particular kitten; namely, an orange Tabby. Knowing he barely had the money for it, Fagin sent Dodger in to distract the vendor while he quickly but carefully swiped the kitten into one of his pockets with his bare hands without anyone noticing him before signaling Dodger to stop and rejoin him around the same time that Jenny’s family’s beige limousine was driving by with Winston at the wheel as Jenny gloomily gazed at the kittens in the box and the people surrounding them before driving off and back to her mansion after another day at school. By the time the vendor realized that he was one kitten short, it was too late as Fagin, Dodger, and the kitten were already halfway gone by then; using their skills and expertise to escape and avoid pursuers.

“Hey, there, little fella.” said Fagin as he took the kitten out of his pocket during a brief pause, “You know, you get to be one cute little kitty, you know that? Where Dodger and I come from, we’ve never had a cat in the gang before. But, hey. Who says there isn’t a first time for everything, right? We could use all the help we can get. What d’ya say, Dodger?” Dodger barked in agreement. “What d’ya say, little fella? Wanna join in?” asked Fagin to the little Tabby who meowed, purred, and licked his new owner in agreement as his response.

After a brief but touching acquaintance, the kitten followed Fagin and Dodger suit all the way back home. However, on the way, all three came across a familiar face. A hot dog vendor by the name of Old Louie was selling hot dogs on the other side of the street but his apathetic nature rendered him hardly the kind of man to just give away free samples to any tramps or strays who came his way, penniless; given their past few encounters.

To settle another old score with him, Fagin first sent the kitten out to see if Old Louie would be more than willing to at least give a poor, helpless kitten a decent meal. At first, the vendor appeared generous as he was preparing a full hot dog in front of him until suddenly, he chased the latter away by maliciously squirting mustard and ketchup at him. “And don’t let me catch you around here again, ya mangy kitty! You tryin’ to make me look bad or somethin’? Go on! Get outta here!” shouted out the vendor. So, Fagin, appalled but unsurprised by Louie’s actions towards the kitten, had Dodger pretend to chase him straight towards the vendor to create a diversion while he stole the former’s string of hot dogs and whatever amount of cash he could grab behind his back. Then, both animals retreated after hearing Fagin’s whistling from a distance; leaving Old Louie in a big mess and a really tight spot when he later earned a ticket from a passing officer; resulting in a $150 fine for a few violations including littering; much to his dismay.

Later, after Jenny returned home, she proceeded to her room to start with her homework while Georgette was busy resting on her bed without even bothering to greet her owner. Later in the evening, she joined Winston for dinner. When Winston noticed a somewhat sad look on Jenny’s face, he tried to cheer her up in any way he could. “Don’t worry, Jenny. Things will change for the better in the end.” said Winston, “And just think, your parents will be home in time for your birthday before you know it.” With that said, Jenny gave out a small smile on her face and resumed dinner.

Meanwhile, Fagin, Dodger, and the kitten arrived at what appeared to be an old abandoned fishing boat somewhere in the City Docks where they joined up with the rest of Fagin’s pet stray dogs: a Husky named Frankie, a Dalmatian named Charley, a gray Great Dane named Einstein, and a brown Saluki named Rita. All four dogs were seen watching Disney’s 101 Dalmatians on the grainy T.V. When Cruella De Vil’s scene in the movie came up, they all began barking mean and viciously at the mere sight of the Devil woman herself on-screen until they heard Dodger’s barking in the background afterwards. When the dogs noticed the sausages in Fagin’s arms, they rushed over to him, but before they could get closer, Fagin quickly slid the sausages onto the ground and his canine friends eagerly dug into the food. In doing so, Fagin revealed the kitten to the other dogs as the newest member of their gang and asked them to share their meal with him. They didn’t seem to fully trust the kitten at first, but eventually, they began to warm up to him, develop a certain love and respect for him, and share some of the sausages with him afterwards as Fagin watched with joy and pleasure. “Welcome to the family, little guy.” said Fagin.

Unfortunately, Fagin and the gang’s happiness were quickly cut short when they heard a familiar sound outside. “Oh, no.” said Fagin. The sound came from the horn of a car; a black limousine belonging to the infamous, ruthless loan shark crime boss and shipping warehouse owner, William “Bill” Sykes having arrived with his men at the docks. As it turned out, Fagin was one of Sykes’ latest clients who owed him an estimate of $50,000 approximately, which the former barely had enough to repay his debt. In the barge, Fagin and the gang were suddenly approached by Sykes’ main thugs, Roscoe and DeSoto along with his massive, vicious pet Rottweiler, Bull’s-eye having been sent to force Fagin out in order to rendezvous with their boss while the gang was held at bay and the kitten hid himself from harm’s way.

Once at the dock, Fagin approached the limo guarded by four more thugs. “Where’s my money, Fagin?” Sykes demanded without hesitation the moment Fagin entered the car. Sadly, Fagin only had $1,200 from his latest job to pay him back. Slightly offended and insulted, Sykes ordered his men to drag Fagin out of the car and inflict some pain on him while deciding on a proper punishment for his failure and incompetence.

Back at the barge, Roscoe and DeSoto were watching and holding Dodger and the gang sitting still at gunpoint while Bull’s-eye was sniffing around the place to pass the time. “You know, it wouldn’t surprise me if an old bum like Fagin were living in a dump like this while we’re living uptown like any other class act. Right, DeSoto?” asked Roscoe. “Yeah, too bad this place is going to the dogs!” replied DeSoto before both gangsters bursted with laughter in mockery. Then, Bull’s-eye finally caught an unusual sniff before he had discovered the kitten hiding within a pile of boxes. The thugs joined up with Bull’s-eye to take a gander upon the latter’s discovery. “Well, now. What do we have here?” asked Roscoe to himself. DeSoto picked up the slightly frightened kitten and asked: “What’s with Fagin and cats all of a sudden?” Roscoe answered: “I don’t know. Must be another one of Fagin’s worthless stolen booties to try and pay back the boss or maybe, he’s just lost his touch and better yet, his mind.” Still held at gunpoint, Dodger and the others sat as they regretfully watched the thugs laugh with the kitten still in DeSoto’s clutches.

Later, Fagin, restrained and pinned to the ground after suffering a few harsh but less violent and painful beatings from the other thugs, pleaded for mercy as Sykes approached with what appeared to be a crowbar in his hands to use for possible further torture and punishment or worse. “Now, you know I like you, Fagin.” said Sykes, “Yet, I’m not so sure whether you feel the same way about me or not. 3 months since I lent you 50 grand in cash and 3 months since you spent most of it on who knows what. And only 3 months I gave you to pay me back and now, you ain’t got no bread on you except for this measly sum of 1,200 dollars, which I could probably consider as minor payment, leaving you with only 48,800 bucks left to pay me back. To me, that’s slightly insulting ’cause I don’t see nor do I got the rest of my money to satisfy my needs. You’re lucky you’re still in one piece and still kickin’ ’cause any other time and day and were you someone else with little cash or no cash at all, you’d be sleepin’ with fish right now. Nevertheless, I am offended and I gotta do something to console me for my losses. I mean, if I don’t hurt or simply put someone out of their misery every now and then, they forget who I am. Now, unless you have any suggestions leading to a solution to this problem, I’m afraid this is the end of the line for both of us, Fagin.” As Sykes was getting ready to inflict pain on Fagin with the crowbar, the latter pleaded: “Please, Mr. Sykes. Just give me a little more time and I promise I will get you the rest of your money, I swear. I mean, you know me. I may be a thief and a bit of a miser, but the last thing I wanna do is infuriate, insult, hold out, or even steal from you. I just need a little more time, please?” “You’ve already had enough time, Fagin. And I’m afraid I can’t spare you any more than that. I’m sorry, Fagin. It’s nothing personal, it’s just business. You understand, of course.” replied Sykes. “Please, Mr. Sykes? Please? Just a little more time. That’s all I need. And if I don’t comply, you can do whatever you want to me next time, provided you leave my friends out of it though. Please? Just a little more time. That’s all I ask. Nothing less, nothing more.” replied back Fagin. After brief hesitation, Sykes finally concluded: “Alright, Fagin. Because I like you, I’m gonna give you one last chance to redeem yourself. Just one. You got 3 days to pay me back, Fagin. No less, no more. 3 days and that’s it. After that, it’s out of my hands. Remember, Fagin. 3 sunrises, 3 sunsets,… 3 days… Or else... Understood?” After Fagin reluctantly nodded in agreement, Sykes had his men release the latter and called out for the rest of them with his car horn.

Despite the call, Roscoe and DeSoto were busy having too much fun with the kitten as the latter maliciously taunted and tormented him with Bull’s-eye held with his leash by Roscoe; much to the dog gang’s chagrin and horror, until the kitten finally had the courage to stand up to his aggressors by scratching DeSoto’s left cheek and nose a few times, which forced DeSoto to release the kitten from his grasp as he yelped in pain. Though having escaped while avoiding getting mauled by a mad Bull’s-eye, the kitten found himself cornered by the villains until thankfully, Dodger and the gang came to his defense at the last minute. After much hesitation, the thugs and Bull’s-eye were reluctantly forced to leave when they heard their boss calling for them again; much to their chagrin since they could’ve easily finished the animals off with a few gunshots and some mauling as well if not for having to heed their boss’s second call at the last minute. “Come on, DeSoto!” said Roscoe, “We might as well leave. We wouldn’t want to keep the boss waiting or make him come back for us either. Besides, they ain’t worth filling full of lead on… yet.” “I swear, someday, somehow, those mangy beasts are gonna pay for this, starting with that cat!” vowed DeSoto with a look of vengeance on his face before Bull’s-eye let out an angry growl at his enemies.

After the three ne'er-do-wells left the barge, the kitten purred and cuddled with his newfound canine friends in love and gratitude for having saved his life just then. Then, Fagin returned home, walking slowly due to the numerous injuries he had endured from the gangsters earlier before slowly collapsing to the ground. Acting without hesitation, Dodger and the gang helped carry him all the way to his sofa where he could relax and recuperate in good time. After his dogs had given him his cover, his slippers, and one final sausage left untouched, Fagin thanked them and asked: “By the way, I saw DeSoto’s face on the way back. He told me our furry little feline friend was the culprit. Where is the little fella?” After Dodger handed the kitten to Fagin, the latter continued: “There you are. You little rascal, you. That must’ve taken a lot of guts coming from a little guy like you. I’m impressed. Now I know I picked the right one for us. I did say we could use all the help we can get if we’re gonna pay Sykes back within 3 days’ time. And I was right. Right, boys?” When the dogs barked in agreement, Fagin got the message and added: “Congratulations, kid. You are now officially part of the family. And nothing or nobody is ever gonna come between us.”

Back at the Foxworth Residence, in her bedroom, Jenny was too nervous to sleep and began sulking and worrying that neither would her parents make it home in time for her birthday nor would she have anyone else besides Winston, Georgette, and some of her school friends to celebrate it with as she looked at her parents’ picture set on the right side of her bed and dreamed about the one friend she had longed for to spend time with almost every day rather than on weekends only. “Someday, somehow.” said Jenny when she got ahold of her kitty doll to cuddle and sleep with before closing her eyes.

The next morning, Fagin drove his four-legged friends out on the streets in his rundown scooter/shopping cart hybrid. “Alright, listen up, boys. We’ve got 2 days left to do or die.” said Fagin, “Dodger, you’re in charge of the new kid for today. Keep an eye on him, show him the new ropes. And in the meantime, I want you all to get out there and do what it is you do best, even if you have to steal whatever we need to survive. Just like I taught ya. Remember, dead men do not buy dog or even cat food.” After dropping his pets off in a nearby alley, Fagin wished them good luck before he continued driving out on the streets to find a way to acquire money by any means necessary before the deadline.

Finding food to eat was easy for the animals, whether by scrounging in garbage cans, begging from people, stealing a few fruits and vegetables in a marketplace, or putting up acts to make people give away some of their sustenance out of care and concern, but money or anything valuable proved quite the challenge. In order to improvise, Dodger had each member including himself put up an act with the kitten as a distraction around each corner while the others tried to snatch as many wallets as they could without getting noticed. Though having managed to swipe only five wallets for the day, it still wasn’t enough to help Fagin with his current financial problems.

Later, in the afternoon, Winston was seen driving Jenny home from school once again until the latter witnessed a crowd gathering somewhere around the corner. Curious, Jenny asked Winston to stop and got out to have a look with Winston following suit. As soon as Jenny found the source of the crowd gathering, she was amazed, touched, and rejoiced at the sight of both the kitten and Frankie putting up a cute little act that drove everyone around them in awe. Having witnessed the beige limo parked nearby and left unguarded, Dodger had Charley and Einstein enter and steal whatever they could find of great value inside it while he and Rita worked the crowd in case anyone got suspicious of their current criminal activities. “Hey, Winston. Look at this. Isn’t he cute?” asked Jenny when pointing at the kitten. “Well, yes. I suppose he rather is, I think.” replied Winston. Then, Jenny resumed: “Just between you and I, Winston. I’d give anything for a cat like him. Do you think I can have one for my birthday or something?” Winston replied back: “Oh, I don’t know about that, Jennifer. Very hard to tell, really. In fact, that would be for your parents to decide and I’m not sure whether Georgette would approve or not. But I suppose someday perhaps. Who knows?” “Yeah, you’re right. I don’t know about my parents though, but I, for one, wouldn’t care what Georgette thinks or likes. She doesn’t care much about anything anyway.” said Jenny with a sad tone. “Indeed. Come now, Jennifer. Let’s go home. We’ve seen enough cute things for one day.” stated Winston as he drew Jenny away from everything in order to return to their limo.

The moment they witnessed dogs inside their car, Winston shouted: “What the devil?!” Having heard Winston’s voice, the two wannabe thieves rushed out of the car with hardly anything to carry in their mouths except for Jenny’s small backpack. “Hold up! Stop right there! Stop! Thieves! Thieves! Somebody stop those dogs! They’ve stolen our backpack! Stop! Somebody stop them!” exclaimed Winston further. Realizing that the jig was up, the dogs and kitten dropped the act and ran on all four legs to escape the pursuing crowd. During the chase, however, the kitten suddenly got separated from his canine friends and found refuge inside the backpack accidentally left behind by them in the process. Luckily, the dogs were able to outrun their pursuers and find refuge somewhere in a nearby alley after what seemed like a long chase throughout the city. Once the coast was clear, Jenny finally found and retrieved her backpack and continued home with Winston; oblivious about her little stowaway inside her bag at the time though.

Realizing their little cat friend was missing amongst them, Dodger and the gang made it official to find and rescue him. Luckily, like all German Shepherds, Dodger had an excellent sense of smell which he put to good use to pick up and follow both the kitten and Jenny’s backpack’s scents, accompanied by Charley with his incredible speed like all Dalmatians while the others returned with their stolen loot to Fagin.

A few moments later, Dodger and Charley finally arrived at Jenny’s mansion where they witnessed both occupants come out of the car and enter the house. Though determined to rescue their little friend, Dodger and Charley hesitated as they knew they hadn’t had a chance yet, so, they chose to retreat and return the next day with help.

Then, Winston noticed the mail in the slot and handed one addressed to Jenny. As it turns out, it was a letter from her parents regretfully informing their daughter that they won’t be able to make it home in time for her birthday as promised. Devastated, Jenny slowly walked up to her room with sadness in her eyes; much to Winston’s dismay since he knew there was nothing he could say or do to cheer her up this time and he was just as disappointed as she was.

In her room, as Jenny came to lie down on her bed and set her bag aside in order to deal with the emotional pain she had recently endured, she suddenly heard a soft meow sound nearby. Curious, Jenny got up to investigate the source before noticing her bag moving as well. Jenny opened her bag where she found, to her surprise, the kitten she had met earlier in the day. Slightly shy, the kitten refused to come out at first, so, Jenny did everything in her power to reassure her little stowaway that she meant him no harm. “Come on. Come on out. It’s okay, kitty. I won’t hurt you. Won’t you trust me? It’s okay. Come on.” said Jenny. Behaving like the brave and clever feline he truly was, even for his age, the kitten chose to trust the little girl and came out where he received a warm welcome from his new hostess.

Overjoyed and realizing she had someone to help her overcome her early disappointment concerning her parents’ unintended broken promise, Jenny didn’t hesitate to break the news to Winston and Georgette in the kitchen immediately. Georgette seemed annoyed and uninterested yet, envious whereas Winston still remained rather concerned considering his earlier statement to Jenny about having a cat in the house. Then, Winston went to answer the ringing phone in the next room whereas Jenny stayed to prepare the kitten a special meal of her own creation dubbed “Viandes à la Jenny avec Sardines” consisting of both corned beef, leftover chicken wings, and sardines using Georgette’s bowl as a temporary serving dish for the kitten she finally named Oliver. Eager to taste, Oliver quickly sank his teeth into the meal as Jenny watched him eat like a hungry wolf with joy. “Jenny, your parents would like to talk to you!” shouted out Winston with great enthusiasm in the next room. Excited, Jenny rushed out to speak with her parents on the phone; seeing this as an opportunity to tell and ask them about Oliver while the latter resumed eating, but not before asking Georgette to behave herself in her absence. Once Jenny was out of sight, Georgette just stood lying on the floor as she watched Oliver eat from her bowl with great annoyance. However, wanting to make amends, Oliver offered Georgette her bowl back with half of the meal left over as a token of friendship, but Georgette, as stubborn, selfish, spoiled, short-tempered, and rude as ever, coldly brushed off the kitten’s generosity and kindness, slightly growled at him, and simply turned her back on him; hinting that she was as upset as she was jealous of him for supposedly hogging all the attention just then.

In the next room, after many apologies were made despite feeling only slightly disappointed than before, Jenny told her parents about Oliver and asked if she could keep him. Although they were uncertain at first due to Georgette’s supposed reaction, they finally agreed; realizing how happy their daughter sounded on the phone and how good it would be for her; given their current situation. Then, Jenny arrived and announced the happy news to Georgette: “Hey, Georgette. Guess what? I’ve got great news. Mom and Dad just said I could keep Oliver. Isn’t he cute? Now I know it won’t be easy for you at first and I don’t care, but in the end, I’m sure you two are gonna be the best of friends even sooner than you think.” Focusing on Oliver, Jenny asked: “So, Oliver? What do you say? Do you wanna be a part of the family?” Excited and happy, Oliver responded by licking his new owner in agreement just like last time with Fagin.

Later on, after Fagin managed to sell a few things at a pawn shop at $75, he was grateful to his friends for bringing more money from the people whose pockets they had picked earlier even though it was barely enough, adding up to $1,050 maximum. Then, they were joined up by Dodger and Charley. Noticing his kitten, now named Oliver, wasn’t with them, Fagin was concerned and asked them about his whereabouts. Without hesitation, Fagin and the gang followed Dodger in his scooter all the way to 5th Avenue. Realizing the address was on 5th Avenue where the rich and sophisticated live at, Fagin knew this was his chance to actually make some real money in order to pay his debt to Sykes. So, rather than rush in and take his cat back, he decided to stay with his friends and observe the place; see what were the occupants’ daily routines, when did they leave the house and how long, what objects they possessed of great value, which way was the best one in and out, and what security measures did the latter possibly have before they could make their move.

During that time, Jenny was having fun playing with Oliver before being reminded by Winston to prepare for her piano lessons. But that didn’t stop the duo from having fun while playing the piano together this time. Georgette passed by as she watched in further envy as Oliver was getting more attention than she usually did before the latter came into Jenny’s life and simply stormed off in anger. Unknown to them, Fagin and his dogs were watching them from the window the whole time.

Then, Jenny and Oliver, accompanied by Winston, spent the rest of the day having fun at Central Park: from riding in a small boat in the lake to riding in a horse carriage to buying Oliver's things with his name on them in a shop including his own bowl and most important of all, his new collar with his name and the address inscribed on it. Overjoyed and grateful, Oliver did not hesitate to show his love and gratitude to his new owner by purring, cuddling, and licking her non-stop as Winston paid for the whole lot.

At night, back home in Jenny’s room, Jenny and Oliver were getting ready for bed. “You know, Oliver. I never thought the day would come when I would have a friend I could spend time having fun with everyday right after school and on weekends. And now, I’m afraid that day has come all too soon. And only a few days before my birthday, can you imagine that?” said Jenny to Oliver. Another lick on the face along with some more purring and cuddling as Oliver’s response to Jenny’s question was more than what she needed to know that both were just plain happy and lucky to have found each other, whether by fate or not, before going to sleep. “Oh, Georgette. I have never seen Jenny quite so happy before. If anything, I’d say keeping that little fellow around has proven to be quite beneficial for all of us, wouldn’t say?” said Winston to Georgette who replied with a small growl, both watching the young friends sleep peacefully before Winston turned off the light and slowly closed the door.

Fagin and his dogs, still spying on Jenny and Oliver from the fire escape, left the mansion and drove back home. Seeing how much love and care Jenny had for Oliver, Fagin began to formulate a plan. He knew that, as Oliver’s new owner, Jenny would be more than willing to do anything to get him back. So, he came up with an idea to return the next day while Jenny was at school, steal Oliver back along with a few portable and unbreakable valuables if possible, and hold him for ransom. Ingenious as the plan had sounded, Fagin knew deep down in his heart that it wasn’t the right thing to do when he saw the sad look on his dogs’ faces and heard the sad whining in their voices. Nevertheless, desperate times called for desperate measures; especially if their lives were being threatened on the line if they didn’t carry on otherwise.

The next morning, as soon as Jenny had left for school, Fagin put his plan into action. “Alright, boys. You all know what to do, so, do it now.” ordered Fagin to his dogs. The first step was to distract the butler who was busy working in the kitchen. When Winston answered the door having been rung by Einstein, he unexpectedly found himself pinned to the ground and licked non-stop by most of the dogs altogether, thus, allowing both Fagin, Dodger, and Charley to enter the house inconspicuously.

At school, Jenny appeared excited to tell her friends about her new friend, Oliver and what an impact he had had on her since the day he came into her life before continuing with their daily routines and schedules. Even the teachers were becoming more pleased than before to see how happy Jenny had suddenly become despite her parents’ currently continual absence.

Inside Jenny’s house, Fagin and his friends began to explore the place in order to see what they could find worth stealing but easy to carry without breaking and at the same time, look for their little feline friend as well. Unfortunately, Fagin was only lucky enough to steal an unused 24 carat gold-plated ashtray, an unopened Bond No. 9 perfume bottle, and the smallest of all flower vases available. After a small raid in the kitchen, the three “visitors” made it to the top step for a final inspection. Then, Winston, having received enough affection for one day, finally got up, shooed the dogs away, and returned to the house, unaware of any intrusion involved since Fagin and his friends made absolute certain nothing appeared missing or touched during their search.

Having caught the scent of something unfamiliar at the last minute, Georgette got up to investigate and was set on defending her home from the intruders. However, when she overheard Fagin talking about Oliver, she knew this was her chance to finally rid herself of her “rival” without even so much as doing the dirty work herself. Acting with free will, Georgette deliberately exposed herself to the three strangers and proceeded to help them locate Oliver in Jenny’s room; much to their unexpected surprise. Inside, Fagin and his friends approached as they watched Oliver sleep peacefully on a pillow on Jenny’s bed. For a moment, Fagin was beginning to have second thoughts when he saw how happy Oliver looked in his new home, but when Winston’s voice was heard in the background; calling for Georgette, he hastily but gently grabbed Oliver, put him in his bag along with the rest of the stolen loot, left a ransom note behind on the pillow, and slipped out through the fire escape with his friends. Then, Georgette went out to heed Winston’s call before the latter had made it to the top step.

Meanwhile, at Sykes’ warehouse, Sykes’ thugs including Roscoe and DeSoto were spending time playing cards whereas Sykes was busy working at his desk with Bull’s-eye sleeping beside him. After a game gone slightly crooked, one of the thugs asked their boss: “I don’t get it, boss. Why didn’t you just do away with that bum, Fagin or better yet, let us finish him off once and for all when you had the chance?” “Yeah. Knowing that old fool, he’s not likely the kind to just show up and turn up with some real moolah in his hands.” said another thug. “True. Like any other crime boss, I would’ve simply done away with him myself, but like the businessman that I am, I saw it fit to give him at least one last chance because unlike you mugs, I am a patient man. That is, as long as nobody trespasses on my good feelings for far too long.” replied Sykes. Roscoe asked: “Yeah, but supposin’ he either comes back empty-handed or decides to skip town? What then, boss?” Sykes replied back: “Don’t be ridiculous, Roscoe. Fagin may be dim, but he’s not stupid enough to try either.” “But…” asked DeSoto before he was interrupted. “IF and/or when he fails to satisfy my needs the next time we meet, then, you can all do as you like… with Mr. Fagin. And Bull’s-eye here will be more than kind enough to provide the final touch to our yet-to-be unfortunate victim. Just like that.” said Sykes when feeding his dog a small piece of meat and snapping his fingers to order the latter to eat it rapidly like a vicious beast as a means of demonstration as he and his men laughed cruelly and wickedly.

Later in the day, after returning home from school, Jenny rushed to find and greet Oliver, but the latter was oddly nowhere to be seen or heard from. When she finally found Fagin’s ransom note in her room, she quickly understood that Oliver had been in fact, catnapped and decided to get him back with Georgette’s “help” tonight, but without Winston’s knowledge; knowing he would definitely disapprove of such an idea and that the police would be more than likely to reject her request for help since lost or kidnapped pets were hardly ever in their jurisdiction.

That night, Fagin arrived with Oliver and Dodger at Sykes’ warehouse. Before entering, Fagin spoke to a sad and slightly intimidated Oliver out of reassurance: “Look, Oliver. I know how you feel. I really do. Trust me. I don’t like this any more than you or Dodger or anyone else does. But what other choice do I have? I mean, if I don’t do this, it could be the end for all of us. Surely, you understand, of course?” With that said, Oliver replied with a soft meow of confidence. “And rest assured, I promise you it will all be okay. Alright?” added Fagin before getting licked in order to comprehend that Oliver got the idea; much to his slight delight. Then, Fagin and his friends entered the warehouse; guarded by some thugs who later informed their boss about Fagin’s arrival.

Inside his office along with the rest of his men, Sykes was on the phone with someone. “Ah, Fagin. Do come in. I’ll be right with you.” said Sykes before resuming his phone conversation as Fagin and the others entered his office. Once he was done, Sykes asked Fagin about his money. For a start, Fagin presented forth the money he had earned/stolen the other day with a little help from his friends and the stolen goods he had taken from Jenny’s house earlier. Though slightly impressed by some of the valuable stuff he could sell on the black market for a good price each before placing it in his safe along with the 1,050 dollars as well, it still wasn’t enough to satisfy his needs and Sykes was starting to grow more annoyed and impatient as Fagin tried to explain the other half of his plan rather awkwardly to the mobster at first; given his fear of such an individual. Then, Sykes’ thugs and Bull’s-eye began circling around Fagin and his friends and getting ready to attack. “Fagin,… you still don’t got the money. That makes me very angry. And when I get angry, I do the one thing I really don’t like to do in the end. I snap my fingers… and my dog snaps you.” said Sykes as he snapped his fingers to order Bull’s-eye to attack Fagin, but not before Dodger deliberately intervened to protect his master.

During the attack, half of the thugs watched the dogs fight with cold, sadistic amusement while the other half restrained Fagin as he explained his plan loudly and clearly to their boss this time and even showed him Oliver as proof. Intrigued, Sykes snapped his fingers again to order Bull’s-eye to cease the attack; leaving Dodger slightly injured, but otherwise okay. Observing the address inscribed on Oliver’s collar, Sykes was convinced until DeSoto intervened: “Hey, wait a minute. That ain’t no rich cat! That’s the cat who what scratched my face the other night! Remember, Roscoe?” Roscoe replied: “Yeah. Yeah, it’s all comin’ back to me now.” DeSoto added: “What’s the matter, kitty? Come back for a rematch, have you?” Then, Sykes focused on Fagin: “What is this, Fagin? Are you tryin’ to con me or something?” With the thugs getting ready to attack on their boss’s behalf this time, Fagin further pointed out: “No, Sykes! No! I swear! I’ll admit that cat was mine at first, but that was before he went missing the other day and found himself in another home on 5th Avenue with a little girl by the name of Foxworth. Jenny Foxworth, to be precise. I mean, how else would you explain that collar with the address on him? It’s not exactly the kind of thing I could afford to buy from a store or steal from another pet then slip on him unless I had stolen both altogether in the first place, right? Honest!” As Sykes began to reconsider, DeSoto intervened again: “Boss, you’re not seriously…” “Shut up!” interrupted Sykes. After a brief moment of hesitation, Sykes was fully convinced. “Alright, Fagin. I’m convinced. And what’s more, I’m proud of ya. Yeah, for once, you’re actually starting to think big… like me. And just for that, I’m gonna give ya 12 hours to deliver. And Fagin,… this is your last chance.” pointed out Sykes with a reassuring smile on his face while Oliver rejoined Fagin, tending to Dodger’s injuries.

Does Damsel deserve a sequel?

Do you think that the latest Tatopoulos movie, Damsel deserves a sequel? In the form of a movie or series provided they use the same actors/actresses, of course?

Why was this so important in a movie?

Can't imagine why this is so important even in a Disney live-action remake movie like 101 Dalmatians (1996).

People around the world get married almost every day, but it's not so important as to print in the newspapers. Even though it is a wonderful occasion.

Now, if it were a member of the royal/millionaire/billionaire family from any country, that's different.

No Scarecrow movie on DVD so far

So far, out of all the animated movies produced by former Disney animator, Richard Rich including The Swan Princess, The Scarecrow is the only one that hasn't been released on DVD or any other kind of media yet.

Pity. Such a nice movie combining Pinocchio, Cinderella, and Beauty & the Beast altogether.

Did Danny DeVito ever say "Dude" in a movie?

Are there any movies or shows where Danny DeVito's character pronounced the word "Dude" in it or not really?

If yes, please let me know.

P.S.: Definitely not in Disney's Hercules (1997) or Dumbo (2019).

[Spanish > English] Spanish sentence heard in background

At 23:28, after Sgt. Garcia spoke, a man was heard saying something in Spanish off-screen in the background.

What exactly did he say in Spanish and what does it mean in English?

All I could hear was "coche" only meaning carriage or something, but the rest is a mystery.

What was the name of the first news broadcast where Walter Cronkite said his famous end line: "And that's the way it is." for the first time?

Then again, when and where did he first say it? At the end of a radio or tv news broadcast or something?

Alas, poor Aladdin TV series. It's bad enough it will never be available on Disney Plus due to some racial stereotying, but it's a shame it will never receive a DVD release though.

Who amongst you grew up with those series? Wishes it were possible for a DVD release soon?

It's a shame that the rest of the episodes from Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers haven't been released on a 2-Disc set of a 3rd volume that hasn't been made yet so far.

And don't get me started on their Blu-ray releases either.
