The Living Single Firing That Changed Everything 💔

According to Carson, there had been growing tensions behind the scenes. When the cast had concerns about how their characters were being written, how the show was being treated, and other production issues, Carson was often the person who spoke to the producers on behalf of the cast. Executives eventually told him that the other actors listened to him and that he was essentially the one driving those complaints.

Carson's response was basically: these were group decisions, not him trying to be the boss of everyone. He felt that the producers interpreted his willingness to challenge them as being difficult or having an attitude. He later summarized the situation by saying he was "a little too Black and too strong."

There was also a bigger issue involving Friends. Carson and the cast felt that Warner Bros. was giving Friends substantially more attention, resources, and support even though Living Single was already successful. Carson was outspoken about that unequal treatment.

The Look on Mary’s Face When She Sees the Mural…

I love how this scene doesn’t need a huge reaction from Mary. The way she looks at the mural tells you everything.

If you could only keep 3 songs from Planet Her, which ones are you picking?

“Don’t just name the obvious hits 😭 I wanna hear the picks you’d actually defend. What are your top 3, and which song do you think is WAY too underrated or straight-up misunderstood?

  1. Love To Dream
  2. Ain’t Shit
  3. Alone

Team Olivia or Team Fitz? Who was really wrong in 5x09?

I’m curious how everyone sees these scenes now, especially after everything Olivia and Fitz went through. I know this one is going to divide the fandom—so let’s hear it.

They're in the same room how is the interaction going to go?

I feel like Stifler and Seth would immediately clash, Jim and Evan would somehow become friends, Finch would just sit back and observe, and McLovin would somehow become the wildcard of the entire group.

in your opinion who's the hottest guy on SVU?

Velasco and Bruno for me.

I didn't have enough room for Stone, but he is part of this conversation too.

One Gotta Go

Moesha for me the last two seasons turned into The Dorian Show.

For those who don't know the third photo is One on One's whitewashed California Final Season.

Every time Freaky Nikki reaches a new level of cringe, Real Nikki tries to kick out.

This is one of my favorite scenes in the movie. You can see the wish getting more powerful as Real Nikki desperately tries to fight for control.

To this day I don't know how Shonda convinced ABC to air these two scenes on national television.

How Shonda got ABC to approve the Closetgate scene and the Season 5 opener, I’ll never know. 😭

They're in the same room how is the interaction going to go?

Regine and Toni would give each other a run for their money that's for sure.

Living Single ladies are kinder and actual friends they would let the girlfriends crew know we ain't going for all that mean/backstabbing drama.

Imagine being like a student or a teacher at Riley and Huey's school and seeing two elderly people beating on these literal children like its Street Fighter

I like how Huey immediately stands on a bench, so his height doesn’t become a disadvantage

While Riley is completely out of his league and gets the nastiest combo.

What are the few writing choices in the show you didn't like?

I didn't like seeing Toni chase and beg for Todd in New York it was cringe and embarrassing to watch.

I didn't like how the writers dropped the documentary storyline for Lynn and they regressed her right back into her old ways.

Season 5 showed me the writers were out of ideas and didn't know what to do with the show anymore and that's a shame.

I hated how the writers let Joan be a pushover and let everyone walk all over her it's quite embarrassing and cringe to watch.

These three stills from the final season hit different after how the show ended.

Following Nate's Death in Season 3, the finale doesn't explicitly detail a resolution or screen-time wrap-up for his mother (Marsha), his brother (Aaron), and his father (Cal Jacobs). It would have been interesting to see their reactions. But Sam as usual, missed an opportunity. Sam turned Nate into a cartoon, and it was sad to watch.

Jules was wasted this season her sugar baby life was unnecessary the plastic wrap scene was so uncomfortable to watch. Jules slapping Rue was so out of character season 1-2 Jules would've never slapped Rue. Sam should've never brought back Jules if he was going to completely butcher her character.

The fact that they didn't even show a funeral for Rue broke my heart. We saw Ali's reaction to her death but what about her mom Leslie? How does her mom feel that her first born daughter is dead? How does Gia feel? With Maddy, Lexi and Cassie, and even Jules it doesn't feel like they even care, because the story doesn't give them time to care. Rue dies, Ali avenges Rue and then boom flash forward to like 2-3 months at the farm. Overall Zendaya Coleman and Adewale (Alamo's Actor) carried the season despite the lackluster writing.

It's the fact that the final line in EUPHORIA, the show that started as a high school drama with drugs and teenage sex, was "May god bless us all" had me appalled.

I forgot how insane this scene was It was so much louder in the theater.

When she screamed with the music blaring, it stops - she shoots Ian - and she starts screaming again with the same intense music. Literal chills. Perfectly done.

POV, you have 24 hours which guy are you hanging out with to have the most unforgettable 24 hours

Barney for me, it would also come with a fair amount of chaos and unpredictability.

Randy once said...

The body count is always bigger. The death scenes are always much more elaborate… and never, ever, under any circumstances, assume the killer is dead. I really miss the meta commentary from Randy he should've lived.

This scene is so unsettling Real Nikki is desperately trying to end her suffering here

Bear face was terrifying, as if he was socially embarrassed by this.

Also, this scene can be interpreted as Wish Nikki trying to shut up Real Nikki, Or a battle for control between Freaky Nikki and Real Nikki.
