Anyone else feel bad for Joseph?
His son dies, then his wife starts moping around so he kindly helps her get a lobotomy, then she becomes an absent-minded mother, then his daughter (who will not stop asking for ice cream) goes off the college and suddenly starts mouthing off and giving her opinions, which was just not a thing during those times, and then she has the gall to leave her debutant ball and rough it with some poor boy wannabe writer, all while trying to maintain his status as a man of means!

Mine are both forms of Noah, and specifically 80's Egon, he's great, he just bumbles his way into discovering time travel.
Mr Peanutbutter catches on to Diane's situation crazy quick.
In a very short amount of time he finds out she's been lying, deduces it's because she found Cordovia difficult, turns the conversation lighthearted, and asks her to come home while maintaining the ruse that she's still abroad, making it sound like he needs her to come back and help him so she has an excuse.
For someone who can be as oblivious as Mr PB, this is a wild amount of awareness.
The image they used for Tobias' book is just so perfect.
