Using commander knob for Google Maps in Android Auto

Hello,

Looking to get a car for my elderly father and interested in a 2021-2023 CX-5. He's adept at using touchscreens but obviously would need to learn to use the commander knob.

Before I take him to the dealership, just want to know how easy/hard is it to use Android Auto especially Google Maps. He likes taking scenic drives and exploring places so he uses Google maps a lot.

Thank you for any advice!

Does 2022 Honda CR-V (1.5L Turbo CVT) suffer from oil dilution?

The oil dilution issue stemming from the CRV's turbo engine is well documented. However, I've read that the 2022 model has a software fix that attempts to minimize it.

Can anyone share real world experience with a 2022 CRV and oil dilution? I live in a city with humid summers and cold winters and take several short trips a day. I was looking for a 2022 CRV and now am concerned about the issue.

Thank you

Laptop makes continuous beeping sound when Logitech MK270 wireless dongle is inserted to USB

Just as the title says. What could be the cause of this? It has been working fine for over 6 months. I'm running Windows 11. No recent changes to hardware or software. Changed batteries on the keyboard and mouse to no avail. Both are unresponsive.

Laptop is HP Elitebook 840

Any support would be appreciated. Thank you

Best device to track whereabouts of kids (Canada)

As per the title, I'm looking for a GPS tracker or smartwatch to track where my 10 year old is. I'm located in Canada and only have Android devices in my household so Air Tags are not an option.

I'm wondering if PAJ people finder is a possibility:

I'm open to other suggestions as well. Thank you

A17 vs A8

My A8 is getting too slow. I'm thinking of getting the A17 but here in Canada I can only get the 4GB RAM version. Will I see a noticeable improvement in performance over the A8?

Thanks

I'm unhappy with the renewal quotes I'm getting with TD. Can anyone recommend home and auto insurance providers? I'm open to brokers as well. Thanks!

I'll be visiting your fine city this summer and looking to book my home base hotel in North Vancouver due to it being more affordable than downtown.

Out of curiosity, I checked how much an Uber would cost to get from the airport to the hotel and right now it's $115!. For context, I checked at 6am PST Sunday morning. Is this normal? I thought it would be half that.

I have a studio in the heart of downtown. No claims. Consistent tenancy for last 4 years. I'm used to paying 40-45 a month and now TD raised it to 60. Sonnet, Square One and Zensurance are all around the same

Would love to hear what insurance people are paying for their downtown condos nowadays. Did your insurance also go up 30-40%?

Thanks!
