My first experience

38F and just got back from my first session. Well, shit, that was overwhelming, lol. My cardio was good, surprised myself there, but the amount of drills they taught was way too quick for a beginner class. Not entirely sure why that was, do they just throw you into the deep end from the get-go? Either way, I’ve signed up and will be drilling at home so I don’t feel so lost. Never in my wildest dreams did I think MMA would be on my bucket list, but let’s go

1 year ago today the March for Humanity was held across the iconic Harbour Bridge.

New South Wales police said initial estimates put the crowd at 90,000. A spokesperson for rally organisers, the Palestine Action Group, said police had informed them 100,000 people were in attendance, but the group estimated the figure was closer to 300,000.

Can I thug it out and learn the rest on my own?

38f Hey all. I started swimming almost a year ago with a coach. I'm a pretty quick learner and could have ditched my coach, but I was very focused on technique and having someone guide me, so I have continued and am still attending. Last week, the coach mentioned I'm ready to move onto the advanced class. Atp, i'm only doing laps in the pool now and just being timed as there really isn't much more to learn. Advanced class is a 40-minute driving each way. Anyone know what these classes entail, and could I learn them on my own? I'm only second-guessing this class due to travel.

Edited to mention, can freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke

Rush money performance review

I'm on my second Rush rope. I initially purchased the Speed Rope and loved it. Unfortunately, I cut it too short, so this time I tried the money Performance Rope, and I love it.

Pros: It's fluid and feels slightly more weighted than their speed rope but still feels smooth and light. I took the advice not to cut it and instead added knots, which I actually like because they provide a little extra weight and better feedback while skipping. Nice smooth spin.

Cons: It's quite expensive at $50 AUD, and it can tangle a little if it's not hung up after every use. Would damage easy if used directly on harder surfaces.

Yeah or nah?

Are these any good. I've had the nature's kitchen ones, and they were pretty good. Anyone tried these?

Edited to add, I'm not sure why there's so much hostility towards vegans. I'm not even vegan but prefer eating more plant based than meat products. Geez, live and let live

Groove Nulu high rise sizing

Hi Lovelies, does anyone have any idea as to the sizing for the nulu High Rise? It's saying asian fit (so assuming more snug?). I'm usually a 12(aus), but I go with 14 as I prefer a slightly looser fit. Second pic is a 14 in aus from another brand. Im a little on the wider size. Do you all size up in the Asian range or stay the same size? Tia x

Would the ommited vowel be kasra in this case?

I always run into this problem of being unable to identify the omitted short vowels. I learnt it's the third vowel that makes up that omitted one? Would it be kasra? Tia
